He didn't notice he was there. He thought he was all alone. It was so quiet, how could he have known?
Eli stretches up his arms into the air after crouching forward for several hours now. It was club hours when the halls re clear from students and most faculty are already heading home. The nurses's office usually is empty too, but there's always someone who comes in after getting them self hurt. With all of Eli's paper work to be done, he chose to be the nurse on duty for the after hours. But the bit of extra work has but a damper on Eli. He's been in the office since dawn and rarely ever left aside from bathroom breaks. Let along the fact that the room is always dark. Eli isn't even sure if it's still day outside.
"Ug tired. Just a bit more now Eli." Eli stands up from his desk with arms still up. A soft crack snaps out from his back as sweet relief seeps in his bones. Dropping his arms down to his side, Eli then looks over to a covered window. His mind started to wonder, pondering what it must look like outside. If it was still bright out but scorched in amber. It clouds white as cotton still scatter around on a bright blue canvas of color. Or if the natural light was dimmed and now bask in shimmering streetlight like glowing plankton. He feels unsure, and being so long away from the light makes him feel like he's forgotten how it's like.
Glancing around the room, seeing it's empty, Eli confirms that this is the moment to see. He steps over to the fabric with hands latching on to each side, and like a wake up call, parts them with great eager. Light shimmers through as the sun is still far enough from setting. The room fills up with sunshine, comforting the nurse with lively warmth. He smiles, as if a previous stress disappeared with the rays like a cosmic cure. Eli couldn't be happier today than he is right now.

No one had been coming to the nurse's office, surprisingly. He had always imagined that supernatural teenagers were more prone to getting hurt in various ways. A lot of ways, imagining those ways was one of his hobbies at work. But right now he was tired.
There was about three beds in the nurse's office, and one of them was occupied. In the dark room, Margot took off his fancy nurse's coat(which was actually a doctor's coat, but he was just a nurse), and plopped into bed. His dark clothes underneath helped him basically camouflage himself into the setting of the room, as if no one was there. It was the lazy type of tired, he couldn't even pull up a blanket on himself.
Normally Margot's naps lasted only for about thirty minutes to an hour, but he slept right from lunch to even after school. It was most likely because of the really loud, moan-y, groan-y, slimy sex that Cai and Zeph had. That shit sounded so off the wall. Here it was so silent and nice, and dark! That is, until Eli opened the curtains.
The pain woke up Margot immediately as his skin started searing in pain. Nothing serious, oh no. The light rays burned half of his face and when he covered his face, it burned his hands as well. The only option, he took. He practically threw himself off the bed as he smelled his own skin. It smelled like it was jerky, gross "Agggh, fucking fuck. Ooooof, oh gosh," his trembling fingers touched his lips(dry), and ran up the side of his face(burned), ugh. "Ugggggh I'm blaming...Agh I'm blaming Cai." Yeah this was all his fault, SOMEHOW.
After examining the serious pain he was in, Margot tore off a blanket from the bed and wrapped himself in it. So much for a relaxing day, right? "SHUT THE CURTAINS. PLEASE," he yelled, obviously not meaning it when he said 'please'. But it could be a student, another nurse maybe, and he had to be polite since this was his job.

Eli could chirp like a bird from the sunlight. Comfort slips into his rushing veins as the warm heats his core. But the same can not be felt by another. Not by his fellow companion and work mate. The one what dwells in constant darkness like a shadow.
Eli's dark brown eyes widen as he can hear a spine chilling cry. Looking back like an owl turning its head, the human nurse finds Margot struggling with pain. He cursed and shouted as the creeping sun sizzled on his skin like a hot iron. The scent of burning flesh quickly overwhelmed the room. The pale complexion of the misfortunate vampire chars to the color of coal. Eli is frozen from the sight however, leaving the flailing man to protect himself from his greatest foe.
Only after Margot had coiled himself in the sheets, Eli mustered the will to act. His head flicks back to the window like a slingshot. Arms struggle around the curtain fabric, but finally he drowned out the light. The human, neck high in horror, trembles with regret. He turns back to witness the victim, then lunging himself shortly after.
"MA-MARGOT! I-I-I'm so SORRY! I honestly didn't see you there." The human's voice wavers like the needle of a seismometer. Eli panics while attempting to reach an emergency back, only tumbling it over most clumsy like. Medical supplies scattered on the floor, while a doctor finds shelter from smoldering pain. What more can Eli manage to. Hard as it is, Eli found no struggle in digging out bandages from the fallen pile. "I-I closed the curtains, so the light is gone now."
Fussing over the nurse rolled up in blankets, Eli begins to fidget over him. He didn't want to rudely tug away at the fabric, but he also needed to check on the vampire's condition. "Whe-when you can, could you let me know where it hurts most?" Hands gently pat down on Margot, in fear that it would trigger pain.
