• Magic Item Brief Description; 
• The magical item in question was created by a thirteenth century witch. Originally designed and crotcheted by her own hand as an expression of faithfulness and love to her mistress's husband who was unfortunately already wed. The witch's story is a somber one, willingly putting on the necklace herself to serve the man she loved yet could never have.
  
  
  However the necklace's history gets more interesting with its maker's passing. The necklace would flounder in the human world, none knowing of its power until accidentally 
  discovered by a vampire in the late 1400's. From there it would be passed down within the vampire's coven to its leaders. Thus how it became to be in little Elsie Horowitz's hands. The necklace itself is a delicately intricate black crocheted choker. However when placed upon the neck of a living being its spell can be activated by simply removing the enchanted tourmaline stone from its placing. Once activated the person is from there, in a manner of speaking, collared. That person is now obliged to obey the commands of their master. If the master speaks their name the "collared" individual will know of it (more along the lines of sensing it) and will treat it as a summons similar to a dog that comes when their name is called.
  
  
  The necklace (or the collar as it may also be known) does have its weaknesses. Since the necklace was originally created out of a delusional sincere, loving loyalty it does 
  have a bizarre unbeknownst side effect of causing the collared one physical pain if they fail to obey (a factor the original witch never experienced since it was her joy to serve the man she loved). But also worth noting is that if one is clever they can find loopholes in the order's exact wording. Choosing to believe, for example, "fetch me a beverage" to comically mean "grab the dude a small dixie cup of water".

Removal - 

• The gem is replaced back into its placing on the necklace
  by the master, the victim can not undo the spell.
• The gem is replaced back into its placing by any other
  living being other than the collared one themselves.
• Ownership rights of the collared can also be transferred to
  anyone who might own the jewel or steal it.
  
  
• Victim must willingly agree to put on the necklace for it to work.
