ju-long has one simple directive in life; get things done. so while his goals have changed over the years, his method for reaching those goals (i.e. relentless, head on pursuit) has not. at times he tends to be a bit too forceful in his attempts to get what he wants, forgetting those who may have to suffer the consequences alongside him, but it is usually a genuine mistake.
ju-long is well past that stage in which he didn't care for anybody besides himself and is usually a friendly soul. too friendly even; sometimes less assertive people may find themselves caught up in his flow if they're not careful.
still, a darker side to the chinese dragon does exist- and it's prudent not to prod his pride or test his temper too far, for he can still lash out quite violently like he once used to...

The looks

Ju-Long appears to be a young man, in his early twenties at the most, of oriental descent. He is of average height ( roughly 5'10") and lean in built. Despite his lean built, he is well muscled. He has pale skin which is complimented well by his black hair- which is worn long and often tied into a long braid. His eyes are also black.
Notable features include several small scars scattered over his body, as well as a tattoo of an oriental dragon starting from his left wrist and coiling about his arms until the head rests directly over his heart. Both features are a 'legacy' of his 'stormy youth'.
In his true form, Ju-Long is a dragon of the eastern type. He has a long, slender serpentine body, roughly 16 meters from one end to another, covered in golden-red scales- with his underbelly being lighter in tone and smoother than the rest of his body. He also has a mane and a short beard (the same color as his scales) as well as two thin and long whiskers sprouting from his muzzle. As a dragon, Ju-Long's eyes turn a startling shade of sea-green and he possesses two antler like horns which grow from his head. [PIC]

Proud and regal, even as he reveled in destruction, Ju-Long was exactly what human myths had painted, and feared, dragons as. As a young dragon he was rather selfish- doing what he wanted and taking whatever took his fancy; by force if necessary. Needless to say he got into a lot of fights, quickly gaining a reputation as quite the delinquent and hell raiser among his peers.
But time changes all things and eventually Ju-Long would allow himself to be mellowed by others; turning to more civilized pursuits than just the thrill of violence. Slowly he explored the teaching of his elders and the depths of his culture- and once those grew tedious, the dragon would turn to the human world for the first time.
Integrating himself among humans to acquire their knowledge was not easy, but it was a stimulating challenge for Ju-Long and he lost himself in the cycle of travelling and learning for a while.
The next step would be teaching- started by an innocuous request for private tuition. It never escalated to the point of a formal job- at least not until a request from a certain school came in...
