His suggestions led to Calisto applying to the academy. Staying at its dorms would probably be better than staying at the orphanage. Maybe...maybe he wouldn't be alone. There were supposed to be other things, phoenixes, just like him there. Hey, maybe one last shot..a couple more tries...of trying to get close to people wouldn't hurt right? Wouldn't hurt to get close...to him.

PERSONAL
▼
[ABILITIES]
• telepathy: ability to speak directly into someone else's mind and detect others' thoughts
• flight: the ability to fly, regardless of form
[PERSONALITY]
What would make up someone like Calisto? He can't be described really as a good person, though he isn't bad, depending on how you look at it. He's very fickle in how he acts and how he thinks, in a way that makes him seem unstable as a person. And he is! Currently he is fighting between the memories he has of past lives, which he has learned to be real, and just general puberty drama things. Really, he has a habit of selling himself short, or thinking that he's more important than anything in the world.
He really gets uncomfortable around crowds, and people who are too loud, and too much in his business. But he doesn't consider himself shy, just, with personal boundaries. Actually he can definitely seem overbearing and clingy to some people, it just depends on the person.

The looks

[APPEARANCE]
Normally he can be found with a natural smile on his face to match the attitude he likes to pretend he has. Fake it til you make it right? Yeah...
His hair is plain weird. It's naturally black, but he dies it blue and purple. He keeps good care of his face and skin, using a minimum amount of water of course. It's not UNKNOWN to him that he's attractive, if not super then at least a little bit, he wants to take care of that. Clothing-wise, he tries to dress more for comfort than for style, but isn't comfortable with being a slob. Especially in front of other people.

THE PAST
▼
[HISTORY]
Perhaps, there is no more meaning in the past. No one ever truly knows it. For it had died so many years before, leaving people like him to only be alone. When there was no one left of his own empire, what reason was there for a survivor to remember who they were?
The Inca Empire is dressed in mystery, long since killed by the Spaniards in their quest. Only sparing memories remain. There was a time where Calisto felt heavy weight upon his shoulders. Chains of gold that held him so beautiful, from villagers who adorned the mysterious one found in their temple. He was a blessing. One to be beheld, never to talk to.
This was what life was. He remembers being taken, strangled from sweaty hands with the smell of metal. Their fingers around his hands and throat, a ship across an ocean.
He remembers "Spain". Not what it is now. Some "Spain" that was in the past. One life, he started to make diaries. Some have gone missing, but that's okay. As a lucky one, he was always raised as an infant in good care from humans, oddly. Right? How odd!
It was because of that man, with white wings. That light blinded what else there was. There was only one person who mattered. And they were it.
--
This life did not begin in Europe. They found him packaged in a jacket along with some journals and a gun, after hearing a gunshot. It was a mysterious happening, because a baby could not fire a gun of course!
He was kept at the orphanage, they couldn't find his parents for some reason. There was always this mystery around him, even young Calisto knew it. He learned to read so he could read those journals of a person named 'Carmel". This went on in a poor Orphanage in New York, being stuffed in a room with three other people.
This was complicated when he set his room on fire. Since there were firecrackers in the room, the fire was blamed on that. But Calisto knew what was really going down. It haunted him throughout his adolescence as he searched more and more through the diaries. His one clue was a portrait of two men. One looked...a lot like himself, except older. The other was...just familiar.
After he turned fourteen, he decided to give up on being adopted. If no one wanted him, at his best, no use trying now. It was done. He focused on supporting himself, as lonely as it was. He had started to be plagued by memories of what he never did, of fire birds and stuff? The experience only added to people's judgement of him as neurotic and solitary. At his first time job though he met a man who explained it all to him. One that looked just like the one in the photo.
