"i'm ready for the change, meet me in blue sky" | Honestly he should have been studying but no he was out here taking a nap. Curled up on the soccer fields are hours of training, just wanting to rest his tiny body. Anything to get away from the hell of a hunter for at least one day. He did not like to hurt other creatures, they deserved to be happy too. That he already knew but other people would not agree with him. Sadly Night had become used to this over time honestly, as much as he wished he had not. The boy coughed a little bit as he turned over and curled up into a smaller ball. The boy was having a nightmare, he had seen his first hunt again. Or was it his father's first hunt? All Night remembered was walking out and a fanged beast was lurking over him, and then blood splattered on his face. He had blacked out who most of the people were, and he did not like it. Even now though he barely talked to his father about it, or his family in general. He did not need to worry them about how he felt, or how he acted. Or anything that was going on in his head. Night had always been rather weird or secretive about the things he did end up doing. Night felt the sore feeling run through his body even in his sleep. He'd really been training way too hard, it made his body feel like jello. Like if he got up when he woke up that he'd end up passing out. Or something really weird along those lines. However he'd also just rather not talk about it for now. He just sighed and started snoring again, his body still tucked in that ball. Almost like the nightmare had gone away and he quickly went back to his normal dreams. Empty and conflicted with lots of voices in them it seemed. Night didn't think anyone would be around him, no one would think of a school bag and some training swords, and well the real weapons tucked away in his bag that no one would see. However he was also too tired to stop anyone if they peeked into his stuff. Since of course he'd been up all night, and most of the day until now after his training. Probably a bad idea, but oh well Night was a human. Humans no matter how strong they might be needed to get some sleep. Being a hunter wasn't going to change that he needed to actually rest for once. Leaving himself vulnerable was something Night did all the time, and he had no care about it. Because perhaps he had more faith in these creatures then other hunters did. So let someone approach him he was not worried nor would he care. connor o'neil |

aren't you something to admire, cause you shine so bright like a mirror
So far since he had been here Connor hadn't found anything that actually made him want to stay. He had been used in his life for bad things, and all around him were humans who would use him or kill him if they knew what he was. What was around them every step of the way, it seemed that humans were as naive as ever letting themselves be absorbed so much in themselves that they didn't realize that monsters walked among them. Monsters who had been accused of killing humans and other various things, there were so many stories in human history after all about his kind. Connor would be the first to admit some of them were true, some of his kind was not the best. They killed and took what they wanted from the human race, his old master had done just that. He had turned him into a creature that never aged, had to drink blood, and could never truly be with anyone because he would outlive them. Thankfully after he had escaped the person who had turned him, he had found someone to change him into an aristocrat so he would never again be forced to work for another again. He had seen enough death to last him a lifetime, he was content to not make any friends and be by himself. Yet, information was always calling to him like a long lost friend. So the boy found the only reason that he stayed at the academy was because of the information he could learn here. Of the teachers who had lived among humans long enough that they could teach others, and the creatures already here could live along beside humans. there were of course precautions to make sure that the secret was kept, mostly by hunters from the association and the headmaster being able to wipe memories. The aristocrat sighed some to himself before his hues glanced at a form on the soccer field. His hand moved absently to push up the monocles on his face that shone slightly from the glare of the sun above them. It was not safe to lay around like that out here, especially for what kind of creatures lurked at this school. Maybe that was just Connor's opinion however since he always looked at everything as a pessimist of what could possibly go wrong. Further inspection actually concluded that this particular boy would know of that, as his records indicated that he was in fact a hunter. A frown instantly crossed his face as his orbs glanced at the bag that he had with him, probably hiding the real weapons he carried with him to defend against creatures like him. "You shouldn't be sleeping here" he said flatly. Though he highly doubted the other would wake from him speaking, and if he did he wasn't apologetic. "I shouldn't have to babysit a hunter who is stupid enough to fall asleep unprotected like this." he grumbled to himself. Yet with a sigh the vampire found a seat on the freshly trimmed grass as he pulled out a few books from his bag to work on his homework he hadn't finished in class. He didn't even know why he was doing this.. Night De LeonLAIKA OF GS!

"i'm ready for the change, meet me in blue sky" | It had just been that the hunter was so exhausted, not like he enjoyed spending nights hunting and working on things. Or actually getting anywhere with any of this. He'd rather not be a hunter in this school. Night wanted friends not victims or people he'd have to end up killing obviously. However it'd probably not help, he was hardly able to do certain things properly of course. Perhaps he was aware of his guest but he just rolled over and yawned. Trying to stir out of his sleep like state to greet his guest. Maybe he could make a new friend, and protect them. Night always wanted to do those things no matter what his parents said. As the boy stirred completely upon hearing the voice he just laughed. "I'm not too worried, after all I can handle the ones who attack me. Most of the ones in this school aren't that dangerous." Though of course Night was always such an optimist. Always seeing the positive in just about everything. He didn't even view the pure bloods or the stronger species that dangerous either. He was just assuming that they could be friends, after all he didn't kill without reason. Or had he ever made a kill? Not that he could remember, so Night tilted his head and gazed over his guest. Or well his guest sounded better than the other words he could think of or say. "So you came out to the fields to do homework? Not play sports or anything, I mean not that you look like you'd enjoy sports. Books do seem to be more your thing." There he went rambling off again, the red head always did that. Night huffed and grumbled, he did not need to be baby sat or watched by anyone. Seriously he was not a baby nor was he a couch. He'd rather not get sat on honestly, well if only because of the dirty context that had. " I don't need a babysitter, I just want friends. People aren't bad in this school." He trusted way too easily perhaps with all the darker species lurking around this school. But of course the normal humans didn't know that. He was raised as a hunter as it ran in his blood from his father's family to his mother's family. It was mixed in both of them somewhere yet he never bothered to ask. He just sat up and wiped some of the grass off of him peeking over at Connor's books. "So what are homework are you doing? I mean, if you know I'm a hunter you must be one of the supernatural creatures. Which is awesome! you guys are so cool." Perhaps the cute red head was so interested in the creatures that it made it harder for him to kill them. He only would do it if he really had to, his parents were better at this. It just was not Night's life to be a murderer without a reason. Maybe he needed to be worried but it was too late. He was not going to dwell on things since he was sitting in the presence of someone he wanted to be friends with. connor o'neil |

The vampire honestly didn't realize that the boy was awake still, and probably wouldn't have said the things he had known he was still awake. Who knew, maybe he still would have said the same things to the human who seemed to think laying around in a school with supernatural creatures was a good idea. Then again, if Connor remembered correctly, this boy was a hunter from his records.. so he knew that supernaturals existed at this school. That made him more of a idiot, than Connor would have originally thought of him. So when the other looked over and started to speak the vampire didn't look at him at first instead continuing to work on the work he hadn't completed earlier. "You are too naive then, even the most skilled of fighters... have something that could cause them to lose. " he said calmly. His next question however made him sigh a bit but it was worth an answer all the least since he asked. "Generally I tend to look for some place quiet, and out here seems to do the trick." he said pushing up his glasses again. "And of course when there aren't events going on, which according to my records... there isn't.." he said. Once again the boy seemed a bit too optimistic, the aristocrat sighed a bit again. "If you sleep out here... regardless of what you are... you are still unprotected to a point." he said. Closing the book he was working on he glanced at the boy a small flash going across his from the sun. The continuation of his talking only made the vampire a bit more annoyed, at this boy for being so careless about his health. Before he could say anything else the vampire set aside his books before suddenly moving, his increased speed something he never really stopped amazing him. He moved suddenly his hand reaching for his bag and tossing it out of his reach before suddenly moving over him a bit of his fangs showing as he moved right to his exposed neck. "If I had really wanted to... I could hurt you now. " he said a deeper voice coming from him. "... Do not underestimate anyone or you will get yourself killed." he said flatly before letting go of the grip he had on the other and pulling away and straightening himself up. The man pulled off his glasses to clean them on his shirt some as his ice blue orbs flashed red for only a moment before putting them back on to glance at the other. "You think everyone here is that easy to beat now?"Night De LeonLAIKA OF GS!

"i'm ready for the change, meet me in blue sky" | Night as usual still believed there wasn't much to worry about. If he did doubt everyone it'd probably not end up helping. Sighing lightly he just laughed it off. This was not going to worry him, not at all. Night had no fear towards this situation or any of those people. Really if the other species had wanted to kill them wouldn't they have done it already? The amount of hunters here could not exactly handle that threat completely. No matter how much he wanted them too. If people tried to hurt them he'd have to defend till his last breath. And he knew it. But that didn't mean what Connor said now terrified him at all. At least not the way the other intended or most people would think it should have. "Hah I'm not that naive. Maybe it's more of I have a lot of faith in the people here. But whatever you want to say." Of course he was not going to admit that maybe he was naive, maybe he was not thinking properly. Everyone might have something that would make them lose but it didn't mean much of anything to him. He had other ideas in mind right now, however he'd still rather not talk about it. He was not sure what was going to happen from here either of course. Let Connor think that, but Night had other ideas in mind. People weren't all that bad. Some just needed the right push and while maybe others couldn't be changed that did not mean all of them were the same. Some Supernatural creatures were nice and helpful. He'd seen it when he talked to them. Night listened intently to what Connor had to say, he was always curious about the other species. So he loved to just have conversations with them as if they were normal because to him maybe they were. "True, It is usually rather quiet. At least you found a place you like." Night was cheerful as usual, the smile on his face as they talked. No matter how much this vampire tried to badmouth him or try to say he was too naive, too innocent and all those things it wouldn't bother Night. He'd ignored it from other people for so long and those people were family members. So here it couldn't be any harder to do. "Not that unprotected...I have my ways of making things work. I'm just fine with this and I've been living this way for awhile so it's not like it'd be that bad." He would have said more but the next thing he knew a vampire body was toppling him over and on him just like that. Of course he knew Connor was going to try to do this maybe. Or he was just not caring about fighting back today. The fangs should have scared him, they were that close to his neck but Night didn't show much fear. Though he could tell his heart was racing a bit. This might have been a stupid idea but he didn't want to believe that they'd try to hurt him. People here were different races and species entirely but could they really do that? Would they really go through all that trouble to come here and just try to kill a human. It seemed far too counter productive for Night to believe. "Yea yea okay, but I'm still not gonna think everyone is out to get me. You would have killed me if you wanted to. But you didn't. I never said they were easy to beat I just don't see them as a danger or as if they'll attack me for real." Night shrugged, he would be prepared maybe if it happened. But he was always the positive one anyway. It'd bother him if he wasn't positive and had to be negative anyway. Sitting up again he just yawned and rubbed the back of his neck. All of this was a bit frustrating honestly. But he still had his trust in others and he would keep it. connor o'neil |

Perhaps the boy had a point, this was a school where supernatural could come to learn to live with humans, not try and kill them. It would be a bit odd for a student here to attack another unless persuaded otherwise. The aristocrat didn't mention that thought however as he pushed up his glasses once more and just let the other win for the time being. If he was anywhere else however, this matter would be a bit more worrying. "Whatever you want to believe is your decision, but I hope this isn't the same way you treat all of your problems." he said calmly as he tried to go back to the work he had brought with him. Still, connor wasn't even quite sure about any of this, about why he seemed so protective over someone he had only just met and a hunter no less. "What weapon do you use." he commented continuing to read what he was working on flipping a page while doing so. His eyes never left the book before him as he spoke to the other. If he wanted to play nice guy, then perhaps the vampire would entertain him for the time being since he seemed to trust the students here more than he probably should of. Connor already knew the kid was a hunter so might as well find out more about him for his records, as well as curiosity that had gotten to him over the kid. "You do have a weapon don't you?" he asked again finally looking up at the other his eyes flicking to the bag he had brought with him. "Do you carry it with you everywhere under the premise that its sports equipment?" he asked the other. Perhaps it wasn't really like him to ask so many questions but the boy had interested him at least for the time being, and he would ask what he wanted. That being said, if the boy didn't want to answer him that would be fine as well, and he would just continue his work. It didn't really matter to connor what happened as he had something to do no matter the outcome of this meeting. Night De LeonLAIKA OF GS!

"i'm ready for the change, meet me in blue sky" | He didn't want to judge all the people but of course at the same time he wondered what he could say about all of this. It felt so confusing to think about. At that very moment Night had to wonder if this was a good idea. Supernaturals were people too in different ways so he trusted them. Even if maybe he shouldn't. Some were bad, some were good. That applied to humans as well, Night already knew this as he'd run into his fair share of bad humans. Night did have way too much faith sometimes but if he didn't then they'd all end up going after each other. That was already know. He didn't carry a whip or staff around just to carry them around. They were easy to tuck away but that was not even the point either. "Well no, if I treated all my problems like this I'd probably have died or done something dumb years ago." Not that he wanted to talk about that portion of his life either. For him it was better off forgotten about no matter how he looked at it anyway. The boy didn't like having to kill other creatures but if they killed humans with no care in the world then he was not allowed to feel sadness for them. But he still ended up feeling that form of sadness no matter how he looked at it. The boy did not desire to talk about that portion of his life though and how bad or awkward that had been. When he first started hunting he struggled so much with just about everything going on in there. "Yes I usually carry it everywhere, I just don't want to use it. Unless I really had too." Maybe he should have been careful but things were already said and done anyway. Did Connor really care though? He probably had his own life or something else to do. No matter how he looked at these things it was just how he saw it. Sighing lightly he tried to relax a little bit more now that Connor wasn't basically trying to suffocate him or something anyway. "If you had to kill someone of your own species would you?" It might be a random question but still, another conversation for another time maybe. connor o'neil |
