icons link to applications • all plots are open unless specified male 2.25 millenniums fallen angel pansexual [attr="class","scrolly"] friends for royce, there are "friends" and then there are friends. the former category is where all of the friendly acquaintances, casual run-ins, and those met once or twice go -- people on good terms whom he keeps around for the benefits he can reap. there is only a small handful of people he considers as close friends worthy of his hard-earned loyalties. it is very possible, however, that there are friends of both sorts who have known him under different aliases through the ages. enemies well, royce is a fallen angel, so it's not unimaginable that anyone from heaven who is still in divine favor isn't particularly pleased with this guy to begin with. with a personality that is as domineering, he isn't exactly the most agreeable figure to some, and as a result, royce is a bit of an acquired taste. considering that he's fairly strict when it comes to keeping students in line, he's probably a little bit on the terrifying side of the spectrum to (most) of them. enemies and rivals from back in the day are also quite possible too. romance on one hand, royce could really care less about if someone is a man or woman or wherever else a particular person falls on the spectrum of gender or lack thereof. but on the flip side, his track record isn't exactly stellar either -- he's lived for millenniums, and as a result has been with many people, and never for very long either. those he's had flames with may still very well be alive, but the (eventual) "one" will have to be someone that he regards as his true equal. etcetera not even going to lie here, i'm really on board with people having known him under different names through the centuries if they're old enough too -- i think it would be a lot of fun for them to meet again at the school or in the city regardless of the circumstances that they last met under. if there are any angels old enough to have known him as ramiel before his fall, that would be a neat little plot point too. i'm also open to discussing and plot ideas you may have, so do feel free to respond here or pm me your thoughts! yes, yes, royce shall be danya's father figure, as discussed. uvu this will never not be funny to me, considering it's royce. i feel like it'd be a development that royce did not count on, because through his couple thousand or so years alive, he's never once had to be a parental figure of any sort. and yet, here is this demon who he ends up treating as his son without the title lol. ooh, boy, do these two go waaaayyyyy back. plotting their dynamic was so much fun, and i do imagine they stayed friends and kept in contact (at least on and off) through the ages after their fling ended? either way, they're still rather good friends. |

D'awww Royce x3 its going to be so cute cause i imagine for most Danya is going to be pretty much the wild child but then when Royce comes along he's like a little puppy just running after his feet with his tail wagging happily. he'd be a very obedient puppy that gave no sass he'd probably spend a good portion of his free time with him as well even if its just to help Royce out or pester him to pay attention to him. -snickers- i just imagine that if Danya ever visits him at his place after work or before work, he's a lot more calmer and serious then what he shows everyone but he's also got a bit of a child-like quality cause "Vati, i hate homework cant i just leave it for later??"

ooo~ i can definitely see them keeping in contact but maybe because of his changed appearance this last century he'd gone completely AWOL because he didn't want Royce to know what was happening?? Like he'd know Royce wouldn't judge him or anything but he'd just want to keep his wings hidden. i imagine when they start seeing each other more he's going to try and keep his wings hidden for as long as he can get away with it. and for some reason i see him acquiring a crush on royce or maybe he always had one but didn't say anything because of the fact Royce was becoming a fallen?? it could be totally one-sided and nothing ever really happens with it cause he likes being a good friend more than he's willing to risk the friendship especially in his current predicament when he's going to need royce to lean on again in his time of weakness

lmao, oh god, the homework is gonna be an issue, isn't it? because royce telling danya to sit himself down so they can go over what he hasn't done or did wrong and i imagine it doesn't happen without some commentary from danya? but god what an adorable not-really son. just watch, he'll grow to care for him like a father more than he thought possible. pfft, you lie when you say you can't be father, royce. he'd make a good father, maybe. dove here needs to stop breaking my heart, god what a precious soul. but he'd be right to think that royce would be the last person to judge him about his entering the stages of the fall, because... well, really, for one thing, royce's moral ground to stand on here is wayyyyy the fuck below sea level. two, i think he'd actually be (surprisingly) understanding of the fall despite his personality, seeing how he's went through his own. oh god, dove bby, if he gets a crush on royce, the poor bby. i think we'd have to see how it pans out, but oh man, the plot thickens and that's always fun. |

<333 hahaha glad you approve although sadly XD there will probably be quite a bit of heartbreak while he's trying to figure out his predicament and what he'll tell the seraphim. i just imagine the day Royce accidentally finds out about it or maybe notices that Dove hasn't every released the glamour around him and starts pressing for reasons is just going to be...ughughugh cause Dove wont meet his eyes and he'll just be all "i can explain..." yes dove explain why you havent told him you're falling and have been actively hiding your wings from him pfft i honestly think he just doesn't want royce to worry or see him differently and just slightly ashamed because Q~Q he loved his wings to death and now one pair is gone and the last pair are silver definitely willing to wait and develop their interaction first XD just thought i'd throw that out there incase for future plots

i am laughing because if danya asks if he can just go become a beggar or get a sugar daddy, royce is just going to give him this look and be all, "danya ilarion, do i need to give you a very detailed account what a beggar's life looks like, because trust me, i've known quite a number of beggars in my very vast days." all while giving him that warning, too angelic smile that he still has leftover form his unfallen days. dammit royce, stop scaring the children. but guhhh, oh no, if he finds danya on a bad day, and outside of his fucking fancy ass penthouse suite residence, he's going to be like, "well, let's get straight to the point, what happened today?" because he does care, just admit it old man. once again, i reiterate that dove needs to stop breaking my heart, i want to swaddle him in blankets and give him hugs. god though, if royce finds out about his wings be it on accident or through questioning, he is definitely going to want a detailed explanation. especially since this is royce london and he wants explanations when things don't make sense according to his own brand of logic. though honestly, i could see whatever irritation or residual anger that royce may have at being lied to for so long would actually give way to them probably having a long conversation (yet again) about heaven's politics and angels and that sort of thing and, honestly, i just kinda sorta really need royce to tell dove that the bottom line is that if there is one thing he wants him to take away from this, it's that an angel is worth far more than their wings. but oh my god, dove bby. guhmyheart -- |

He can handle his problems he said. he's been handling them on his own for the past century so its okay. but omgh XD royce demanding an explanation would get him a very tentative but somewhat amused smile because "aren't you a little young to be ordering me around." i sense occasionally he's going to make jokes about their ages because royce really does act older XD but awww yes <333 Dove likes their long conversations~ maybe royce finds out because he goes to visit Dove at work since maybe he's a little curious about PL?? so maybe when he's directed to the back office where Dove is and for the first time sees him without his glamour? awwwww if royce told dove that i honestly think Dove would get a little emotional cause as much as everyone else has probably been telling him the same they werent angels and Samael is his brother <3 so Royce being the one to say it would mean a lot. he'd definitely probably be fighting not to cry x3

Okay so Maiya kinda does this thing where she flies around in her avian form and just sort of lands on people that she either recognizes, or thinks are interesting. In Royce's case I think she would find him interesting because of the sort of vibe he gives off, she'd be curious and want to see more just because. Depending on how he might react to the initial attempt he may find himself with a little bird buddy just sort of following him around on his shoulders, chirping away at him and rufffling her feathers at things. Possibly trying to use him as a hidey tool if she gets startled, if he'd allow it that is. Either way I could definitely see her trying it at least once. COBALT BARRON + Royce
Alternatively, should Maiya not peak your interest I have Cobalt, one of the school's guidance counselors. Though to be honest I'm not sure what all to do with them, Cobalt doesn't exactly go out of his way to interact with the other faculty members and makes a point to keep himself busy. Though with Royce's position I imagine they would encounter somewhere along the lines. |

royce is just. going to stare at danya for the sugar daddy comment. and be all, "are you having financial issues that the school board is unaware of?" but god no, considering that royce (once he's at the point of basically being adoptive father in everything but down on official documents) would probably care wayyyy more about danya than he would wish to admit, he'd probably usher him right into the office, swaddle him in a blanket, and tell him he can stay as long as he needs (just don't trash the place). that being said, a true name would merit a true name in return in this case, considering that there is trust there. i just have lots of feelings for royce being danya's not-official dad. hahahah oh my god, i keep forgetting that dove is older than royce, and i think sometimes royce lets that slip his mind. though it won't stop royce from being like, "dove, answer the question, don't try to change the subject. >8c" also considering the sort of clientele that frequents paradise lost and the kind of person royce is, it's possible that he would visit -- perhaps he's even visited before without being aware that dove runs the place? but god, i just need these two to at the least be very good friends. because i can definitely see the common ground they share being a good impetus for that. dove is a cinnamon bun too good for this world. okay, is it bad that the first thing that happened was that i started laughing about how this almost makes royce a pseudo albus dumbledore? because (assistant) headmaster with a phoenix on his shoulder lolol. do consider royce being a bit like, "well, what is this?" when she first lands on him though. he would be a bit baffled as to why a phoenix is landing on him, but otherwise would try to come off as unruffled and unfettered about all of it. i did read through her app and i noted she does pickpocket. which could be a potential plot because royce does wear some pretty priceless jewelry sometimes from wayyyy back in the day, though i can also say that he'd be pretty damn pissed off over it whoops. i can say for a fact that sometimes royce would probably have to resort to sending students over to cobalt if they get sent to his office. as for their dynamic... i'm not super sure on what it would be, but i did notice that you wrote that cobalt has a thing for control? which i feel like may be an interesting thing because of how different their definitions on control are? since royce himself has a rather dominant personality and he does like his control too lmao. whether these two will butt heads or not remains to be seen. at the very least, i think they have a very professional, business-like relationship considering that they're coworkers here. |

I didn't see that before but now that you mention it... omg that just gives me more reason to throw bird!Maiya at him lol. She's pretty used to that sort of initial response though, having a bird of any kind just land on your shoulder isn't usually a daily occurrence after all and in that case, she'd probably spend a little while just sitting around on his shoulder then. Just sort of watch him go about his day, cooing and chirping at things, pretty much just being an adorable derp... though speaking of her pick pocketing she does indeed like shiny things. In Royce's case I think it would be less about money though and more like "oh that looks cool, can i take a closer look?" and she'd pickpocket his old shinies so she can get a real good look at them. She'd probably give them back should he get angry about it and honestly, probably try to interrogate him about them too. She's a pretty curious lady and like learning things and even if he got too angry to answer her she'd probably end up showing back up after a couple of days with an onslaught of questions for him all over again. I agree that these two would probably have a very professional business like relationship if nothing else, with Cobalt handling the kids sent his way by Royce and probably not much to be said elsewise. Though should they ever get to talking their differences in the definition of control could potentially make for some interesting interaction as Royce's more outward control would probably end up provoking the more smartassey side of Cobalt a bit, and he's not the sort to bite his tongue just because of someone's position either. I think with these two the best course of action would probably be playing something out to get a feel for it. |
