BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on Well, wasn't this just lovely? Did he take a wron turn somewhere? He didn't remeber taking a wrong turn but clearly he did take it. Iriel looked to his left, right, up and then back to his right. Ah shit. He did get lost didn't he? Great, lost with a major asshole. This was the highlight of his evening!
Hopelessly, he offered Vincent a small shrug of shameful apology. He couldn't blame the demon. He often wondered how in the seven hells he was even alive himself! He always messed up things, got lost, daydreamed when he shouldn't, forgot every bit of information he picked up. Lord, he was really a walking fucking mess of a man. He honestly shouldn't of made it past two but somehow he did!
"Okay, hmm. I was almost positive this was the right way. I mean, I always make it back to school." In at least one piece...or something. "Maybe it was that turn down the road afterall..." Nodding his head a few times he turned and walked past Vincent to go back up a block.
He didn't get far as he came to a sudden stop. Maybe, he was on the right track? He opened his mouth to say something to Vincent about the road but his attention went else where. He even looked confused as hell. Slowly, he looked back to the demon over his shoulder and then towards the area they had just come from. Had he heard something?
"...You didn't say anything..did you?" Inquired the bird. "In any form..." He didn't think the demon said anything other then his comment. Which meant something was clearly not right in the area. The teenager scanned the area with his eyes and took a step forward out of curiosity. Cocking his head to the side, he listened carefully. He didn't pick up a single sound but his eyes kept moving, searching for something.
He had the feeling neither of them where alone. "I think...it might be time to earn that feather.' The words came out slowly. He was very sure that someone was close by but he couldn't point them out. Part of him wanted to run away while the other wanted to further look into the matter.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ "WITH A SENSE OF DIRECTION LIKE YOURS, I'M HONESTLY IMPRESSED", the demon had replied and it was quite difficult to tell if that were meant to be a compliment or not. He was quite good at that sort of thing. He could only imagine the teen running about, wandering hopelessly until there is some sort of sign of the school. He might always make it back, but that certainly didn't mean it wasn't a tedious task. Which was why Vince would simply have to take it into his own hands, not very fond of tedious things. Unfortunately the boy was quite insistent on being in the lead and the demon could only groan. This was going to be a long walk. At the very least, he would make sure they didn't stray too far from the course, 'gently' guiding the teen back to the right path. But he'd save that for whenever he was actually trying to get them lost again, instead walking along and trying to keep his cool. But then he stopped and the demon quirked a brow. What the hell was he doing now? Vincent frowned, more so when the kid asked him a ridiculous question. He was doing his best to keep his lips sealed so as to avoid another fight that would make this whole endeavor take even longer. "Not a word." he answered with a heavy sigh, really starting to lose his patience. Great! Now he was hearing things. Vince really knew how to pick them, didn't he? Still, the bird did seem rather startled for some reason the demon realized with mild curiosity, not sure what it was that had him spooked. Was his little teasing session from before still getting to him? That was kind of sad, actually. Vincent was good at invoking fear, but he didn't think he was that good. But just to prove his assumption, the boy claimed that it might have been time to earn that feather of his, causing the demon to cock his head this time, not seeming to understand. "What the hell are you even on abou-" The demon suddenly stopped, brows furrowing as he looked about. Now that he thought about it... something was actually off. It was strangely quiet. In fact it was too damn quiet for this godforsaken city. But that was when a voice came out of seemingly nowhere. "A 'feather' you say?" the disembodied voice spoke, sounding rather intrigued. "What the fuck?" the demon growled, looking about for the source of the voice. It wasn't very often that people managed to sneak up on him like this and he couldn't say he was very happy about it either. Fortunately that would likely work in Iriel's favor. BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on It might of been some interest that Iriel had choosen to not inform the demon of some special details, like his gifts. Even though Iriel could not see who was out there he could certain catch a few stray thoughts that did not belong to Vincent or himself. The few things he caught he did not like in the slightest. He remained in place before finally getting his wits back in order and took a single step back.
What the hell was he going on about? Well, Iriel would be more then happy to inform him on what he matter was all about. But it seemed a disembodied voice took over that small matter with a singel statement. Glancing at the demon for a moment he replied. "I believe it is more of who the fuck."
The more the bird looked the less he could see. Taking a deep breath he took another step back towards Vincent. This man was here to protect his sassy ass and he hoped he could do it or else Iriel would have to do something about it. Fighting wasn't at all soemthing Iriel enjoyed. He was much better at escaping situations then confronting them head one. But Iriel was always one to do something rather silly.
"Feather? I believe I was mentioning a 'Favor' but for mere sake of humor, why do you hide?" Well, that should be rather obivious to any normal individual except for Iriel. Who just had to question anything and everything.;

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ Vincent really didn't need the kid's sass. Then again, he likely could have just been stating the obvious which would hardly come as a surprise. Regardless, he really wanted to thank him for his correction however his attention had been turned to the voice that was rather difficult to track, almost seeming to echo from every direction. It was a tad disorienting, to be perfectly honest, but also rather infuriating. He didn't even have to see the expression on this stranger's face to know they were wearing a smile. The demon certainly didn't like being toyed with. It wasn't as fun being on the receiving end. Rather than argue outright though, the demon had gone strangely quiet, allowing the bird to talk to whoever this person was while he attempted to try and find the source. The voice had chuckled, a rather sinister sound, as Iriel spoke. "Hide?" they questioned, amusement lacing their words. "You just aren't looking hard enough." they claimed. Vincent had to disagree there, growing more and more displeased the longer it took. "I'm merely observing. It's much more fun stalking your prey and watching them squirm a bit, after all." the voice spoke matter-of-factly. Ah, yes. Vince definetely wasn't enjoying this in the slightest. As if he could be considered prey! They had to have been talking about Bitchcakes here. But despite the temptation to respond with hostility, the demon managed a toothy grin, revealing a sharp set of teeth. "I'm afraid you are a bit too late. I've already claimed this one." he replied with just a hint of annoyance, just wanting this fucker to show themselves already or leave. But perhaps he was asking a bit too much there. "Oh?" the voice sounded just a tad disappointed, going quite for a good minute. "I guess I'll just have to fix that then." Vincent quirked a brow, barely registering the sound behind him in time as a figure leapt out of the shadows. The demon saw black as a powerful strike landed on his head, enough to send him into a daze and in turn give the shadowy figure a chance to approach Iriel, a wicked smile parting his lips. "It's been quite a while since I've seen a creature like you~" he'd stated cheerfully, tapping a bloodied bat onto his shoulder as he spoke. "How about you come along with me nicely so no one has to get hurt?" he politely suggested though his tone seemed to leave no room for argument. "No one else, anyway." he corrected himself, gesturing to the demon behind him who appeared to be groaning in pain. Or was he growling? Either way, this person had little intention of leaving without the bird but preferred to not rough him up if able. They'd pay more for a live phoenix than a dead one, after all. If anything the pretty little bird ought to be thanking him for saving him from such a bad tempered brute! A bad tempered brute who was slowly recovering behind him and not looking too happy. But that was hardly anything new.MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on Not looking hard enough? He couldn't quite grasp that ideal. He was looking pretty damn hard if he did say so himself. Normally, Iriel could easily notice a difference in something due to his inability to focus on a single object or person. He was always seeing things others might not and here he was, having troubel locating the body the voice belonged too. Perhaps, he was looking too hard or this person was simply hiding in the shadows, a skill perhaps?
"I'm sorry," The bird said with a sudden realization. "What were you saying?" Did he just zone out a threat? He sure as hell did. In fact, what was he doing again? Oh right, going to school and then got this creeper creeping on the two of them.
With a strange fasination he watched his demon bodyguard go from standing to not so standing. In fact, he looked rather dazed. "Asshat?" He called out softly, hoping he was all right. A tattooed hand reached out to him but pulled back when the figure spoke to him. Cringing softly, he placed a finger to his lips. "I wouldn't of done that if I were you. Asshat, well, he's rather cranky." Peering over at the demon, with concern, he pondered if that was a growl or a moan.
Iriel didn't move from his location. He stood his ground with eyes moving back and forth between the two in front of him. Maube the bird zoned out again but he seemed to snap back into place for a moment.
"Hmmm, no, no thank you. Papa always told me not to follow strangers. Especially strangers with strange thoughts." He spoke with an apologetic voice, hands clasped in front of him. He should of been nervous and possibly take of running but he didn't. He stood there as cool as a summer nights breeze without moving a muscle in fear or concern. Damn bird, he had no sense of self preservation sometimes.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ The figure simply tilt his head in mild confusion at the teen's words. "Asshat?" he questioned, genuinely confused for a moment. He'd caught on soon enough and chuckled, not nearly as phased by the warning as he probably should have been. "All the more reason for us to move along, I suppose." This stalker was not much of a fighter himself, excelling only in terms of stealth and catching his opponents while off guard. He'd like to move along before he'd actually have to fight directly, however. But unfortunately his little catch didn't seem too ken on leaving as quick as he'd like. Or at all for that matter. "Where's your sense of adventure?" he'd grin, attempting one last time to convince the teen to move it but since he seemed pretty adamant about staying, the shadow of a man sighed. "Well... I gave it a shot." he resigned with a shrug, giving up on the idea of getting this done quick and clean. Looks like he'd have to do this the hard way. "Stay still, wont you?" he suggested, pulling the bat back into a swinging motion, aiming for the bird's head this time. "Then perhaps I can keep from bruising you up too much." he explained with a dark smirk, approaching Iriel and in turn exposing himself as he escaped the shadows. As soon as he was close enough he'd take the first swing... Wait. "Hm?" he quirked a brow as he tried to swing, unable to move the bat even an inch. Looking over his shoulder to figure out the issue, the shadow walker was met with a clawed hand gripping onto his weapon. "Oh... Hello, again~" he stated casually to a very angry and demonic Vincent standing behind him. "How about we talk about thi-" he was cut off as Vince effortlessly ripped the bat out of his grip, tossing it far behind him and out of his reach. "... Or not." he frowned, quickly ducking past the demon and back to the shadows before Vincent had the chance to catch him. He tried, anyway, but Vincent managed to grab him before he had the chance to escape, throwing him harshly into the building behind them. The impact was strong enough to cause the brick wall to crack under the pressure and leave the walker dazed this time before Vincent was on him again, slamming his forearm into the man's throat, holding him there and choking him at the same time. "W-wait, wait, wait!" the shadow figure dissipated, revealing the man who'd been lurking, trying to free himself from the demon's grip, at least enough so that he could breathe. Vincent didn't back off though, pushing harder to get him to struggle less. "Shut it." he snarled, a low growl rumbling his chest. BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on As for his sense of adventure, it was there and floating around somewhere in that brain of his but it wasn’t that adventurous! ”I left it at home, in a jar, on my desk.” It was meant to come off as a joke but it sounded too serious coming from the strange bird who took a few steps back. He was bound and determined to stay out of arms reach. He wasn’t about to get kidnapped by some strange person who might be a pervert for all he knew! He had a demon here too that was supposed to protect him from leechs and such! Speaking of which, wasn’t he done resting his face against a hard surface? Iriel glanced towards the demon and sighed softly. Words came, entered, and passed through the birds head before he could even register what they even meant.
His attention returned towards the kidnapper, ”I’m sorry, what where you saying----oh boy.” His eyes went as large as a dinner plate at seeing a bat coming towards his skull at an alarming speed that sudden stopped dead. Huh. Blinking a few times he was more confused then anything. With the bat no longer a threat he took this time to see that Vincent had indeed picked up his face and was being useful now.
”Like I said, you shouldn’t of done that. Now Asshat, is super ass hat mad.” He made a pointless gesture of using his index fingers as horns on his head as if that would help get the point across. While, clearly, the idiot could see the horns in reality. There really was no need for Iriel to do that but hell it was fun! Poking the inside of his cheek with the tip of his tongue he stared at the man oddly. Now that he could see him he sorta…recognized him.
”Say,” started the bird. ”Aren’t you the person that I got a coffee from today?” Hmm, well this was a bit of a surprise. Curiously, he turned towards Vincent for answers. "What'cha gonna do with him?"

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ Ah yes, this bird was certainly an odd one. That might be a problem if potential buyers weren't too crazy about... well.. his craziness. But, still, a phoenix who talked a bunch of nonsense was still a phoenix. They could always just fix his beak shut if his mouth became too annoying. Regardless, it hadn't really mattered. The man was determined to catch him, eager for that easy money. Sadly, it just wouldn't be that easy. That chesire grin had faltered a bit as the teen had mimicked horns. "Yes, I can see that." he'd sigh, certainly greatful for the kind boy stating the obvious, but soon he'd be regretting wasting his breath as he was slammed into the brick wall, struggling to catch a breath as the demon practically crushed his windpipe. This was no good! This job was supposed to be easy! Where the hell did this guy even come from anyway?! All thoughts he might have considered if he wasn't focused on trying to pry the taller man's grip off of him. The death grip only loosened slightly, the man gasping for as much air as he could from the leverage, both of the men looking over to Iriel now as he'd spoke. Well apparently he remembered him and the man wasn't sure whether to be grateful or not for that fact, but he was sort of leaning towards the latter now that he was having a bit of difficulty breathing. Despite their previous encounter, however, he didn't appear to be too concerned with his well-being, which was unfortunate. Perhaps he should have made him a better coffee. Hell, maybe he should have made this job even more easier by drugging the fucking bird when he had the chance. It was annoying realizing all these options he could have chosen now when it was far too late. Maybe the demon would have sympathy? Oh no. One quick second of eye contact with the rather angry man let him know otherwise. "F-fuck.." the man struggled. Vincent glared back down to his captive as Bitchcakes questioned his plans for him. Oh, he could come up with plenty of ideas that would make this guy regret ever going up against the demon, starting with wiping off that shit-eating grin that had plastered his face only moments ago. But, unfortunately, this was neither the time or place to torture the man, as much as he'd love to make him suffer every second till Vincent decided to finally end his insufferable life. It was disappointing, actually. But he wasn't about to let him go off scot-free. Heaven's no! But perhaps he'd be kind enough to ask what the bird would want to do. It was his stalker, after all. "Want to take a swing at him?" he questioned instead with a smirk. If demons were known for one thing, it was their effect on others. He was practically the definition of a bad influence and he was curious as to whether or not this princess of a man had it in him to hurt someone. "Once in a lifetime opportunity, right here." he went on to explain. "I don't usually share the fun." Of course he'd been told his version of fun wasn't exactly the norm, but he believed people were just missing out. There was nothing more enjoyable than holding sometimes life in your own hands. It was the opportunity to play god. Iriel Parker | eww D: no worries! glad you are back <3 and oh look. now vince is trying to make friends with iriel //shot MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on Iriel took an extreme interest in what was now happening in front of him. It seemed like Vincent had a firm hand in controlling the situation, good. This would be the last time he would ever that coffee shop again if it meant he was going to be hunted down. Ugh, hunted. He cringed at the mere thought of it let alone the action. To be quite honest, it pissed him off that someone would tail him just because of what kind of supernatural creature he was born into. It was rather insulting actually! He wasn't a prize to be captured and then sold off too the highest bidder. Nor was he something that could be owned or kept.
Iriel didn't even flinch when the fellow was slammed into the nearest well and held there. He was even tempted to allow Vincent to do what he pleased with the human. But, of course, the man was human and humans often did the wrong thing. It was in their nature to be stupid, misguided and then some. He couldn't let Vincent suffocate the foolish man even if it did seem like a good idea at the time. His fathers taught him better then this..."Don't cut off his air...completely."
Now, he had no idea what the man had in store for him if he had been taken. So, he couldn't send too much hate his direction. But he sure as hell could take advantage of the situation! Oddly enough, Iriel smiled happily at Vincent with a certain charm to it. "Take a swing." It wasn't a question but more of a repeating statement that the bird thought about for only a mere second.
For once, he agreed with the demon's thoughts and hopped up to the plate. Looking between Vincent and then the human he sighed softly. "This goes against my nature really," He paused long enough to draw his fist back and punch the man square in the face without holding back. "But today, I think I can over look it." He declared with his smile still in place. "Maybe you'll think better of hunting down people such as myself, hmm?" His voice was sickening sweet as he hit the man a second time, this time with punch to the man's gut and not hitting Vincent in the process. Feeling much better now that he got a good hit in he patted the demon on the shoulder. "Don't kill him." However, Asshat could do whatever he liked with the guy now.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ HAD IRIEL NOT SPOKEN, Vince might have done just that, very tempted to let him suffocate in the most painful way possible. While there was not necessarily anything compelling him to obey, the demon refrained, keeping his grip but not going any further to actually kill the man. Not yet, anyway. It seemed like the shadowed man was having a hard time deciding whether to be relieved or not by the bird's apparent mercy. He'd soon realize he wasn't that lucky though as the phoenix seemed to be persuaded by the demon to take action himself. His brows furrowed at the realization as he struggled moreso but Vincent didn't let him move even an inch, smirking to himself as Bitchcakes approached. Maybe this fucking kid wasn't too bad after all. Usually Vince didn't like sharing his fun with people, but he supposed this was a special case. Quite frankly, it was amusing watching the bird go against his apparent nature to give the stalker some punishment he deserved. The human couldn't avoid the first hit even if he wanted, taking a face full of pain that left him dazed for a second or so. "You fucki-" he was cut off as he was hit in the gut, any sort of air that was in his lungs immediately knocked out as he drew in a harsh breath, nearly coughing a lung in the process. Think better? Possibly. But at that moment any sort of humor was lost and he honestly wanted to retaliate. Too bad the demon wasn't going to allow him to, enjoying every second of the show. But sadly, it ended after that, though Vince couldn't necessarily be surprised. Nor should he have been surprised when Iriel told him not to kill the bastard. His brows furrowed. "Are you fucking serious?" he growled, sounding more disappointed than angry. He was off to a good start! "You're too soft." he rolled his eyes but surprisingly listened. That didn't mean he wouldn't get his own fill out of this. As soon as the kid was out of the way, Vincent released the man who'd immediately went to his hands and knees, trying to breath with his new freedom, though not having much time as the demon slammed his foot into his back, sending him face first into the ground. "You a righty or a lefty?" the demon questioned after a second. "What are you-" the confused man began through breaths before yelling out loud in pain as Vincent had grabbed his right arm, using his other foot to slam down into it and breaking it in two like a twig. "That ought to keep you from swinging that fucking bat around for a little while." he said casually as he'd let the limp arm drop, the wounded man immediately grabbing the appendage and holding it close, wincing in pain as he tried to struggle out of the demon's reach. Fortunately for him, Vince was done after that, spitting down at the man before he turned back to his bird companion. "It would have been much quieter if you'd just let me kill him." he reasoned as he walked past the teen, knowing they shouldn't stick around too long if they didn't want to get caught. Surely someone had heard that scream and it was best they be on their way. He was definitely going to need some painkillers after that. Or a large quantity of alcohol. BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on Vincent was right, Iriel was too soft and one day that would get him hurt or worse, killed. It was hard to get that out of his nature. He really was just one giant love bug who aimed to please others and really should get out of that habit. Maybe one day he would and totally blow Vince's mind and send it down a trippy super nova. Doutbful. Nothing would surprise this demon unless it came to a human wiedling a baseball bat.
"Prehaps." The bird replied for being soft and rather serious on the matter. Iriel liked to avoid killing others as well as harming them as much as possible. He wasn't a fan of conflict nor of seeing others in pain. That was partly why he flinched at the snapping of an arm. Oh, that looked painful but utterly justified. Hopefully, this man learned his lesson that stalking birdies was a very bad idea. Especially, if one bird had a particular big asshat demon escorting him home.
"That outta keep him from doing a lot." Iriel pointed out with a mere finger point. Once again, Vince was making a strong point of killing the man. Iriel stared at Vincent for a while as if he debating if that would of been a better choice. With a small sigh he shook his head. "I rather not spill blood of a human. The consquences aren't worth the price of that action." Turning on his heels he quickly started to leave the scene and get back to the school.
"Still, thank you for not snapping his neck even though it might of been better in the long run."

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ HONESTLY, Vince couldn't be too surprised. Kid might have acted like a little bitch... Well there was nothing else to say about that. He acted like a little bitch, so the notion of him actually fighting back seemed rather ridiculous now that he thought about it. He was just fortunate he was a Phoenix. God knows he'd need all those lives. At the very least he seemed to understand that sometimes dirty things had to be done, even if he wasn't a 100% okay with the deal. Breaking his arm made Vincent feel better at any rate, so that was all that mattered! And the demon could only chuckle when the bird stated the obvious. "He ain't going to be jerking off for a while, that's for sure." he scoffed. What an awful punishment! The man might have preferred death. Too bad Bitchcakes was adamant. Consequences of spilling human blood? He was really preaching to the wrong person, the demon hardly ever being concerned about spilling any blood, human or not. But he replied with nothing but a grunt, still not too fond about leaving the job undone, but he'd get over it eventually and it would only happen more quickly the sooner he left the scene, that way he wouldn't have any second thoughts. Of course if he happened to run into that guy again later on, he certainly had no hope of surviving him a second time and Vincent was almost hoping that he'd see that sad little fucker again. But he kept such hopes to himself, focusing on getting the phoenix back to his school so he could finally go about his own business. But his focus would momentarily return to that incident as Iriel spoke on, quirking a brow as he thanked him for not killing the hunter. "It would have been." he growled, completely disregarding the fact he'd thanked him. "Just don't come crying to me when he comes back with reinforcements." Just a tad bitter. He didn't like being denied like that and was going to be bitter about it for a bit longer. But, mostly, he was just being honest for once. Showing him mercy would just make the possibility of him coming back more likely. The bird pretty much screwed himself and would probably face more consequences by letting him live than he would have by ending it then and there. Ah, but what did he care anyway? It was his funeral. As they got further away though, he eventually lost interest in that human and was dabbing at the small bit of blood that he had on the back of his head. It'd heal up soon enough, but it was certainly leaving a mess. "I should get paid extra for the damage." he muttered, mostly kidding though he certainly wouldn't deny extra payment since the bird seemed to be awfully generous tonight. He rolled his eyes at the thought. "How much further anyway?" he questioned, mostly to himself since he doubted Iriel even knew where they were going anymore. Surely they ought to have been getting close by now! it's dangerous, i'm fallen. There's no escape, I can't wait. ▼ NOTES: ---- | Whelp, no one would ever state that Iriel was the bright one amongest his friends. Nor would Iriel ever claim to be such a thing himself. He knew his limitations and how he wore his heart on his sleeve at times. It was merely a part of who he was and he would never be like Vincent. He wasn't that strong though he was quick on his feet. If he ever needed to escape something this bird could parkour his way out of most trouble. Provided he didn't zone out that is...
Regardless, Asshat here was making good points. "Hmm, I doubt he will be doing anything for a long while." Iriel agreed with a small chuckle. The bird shrugged his shoulders lightly. If the man came back then Iriel would deal with him and if he couldn't...he knew of a few people that would easily enough. Mostly, one pissed off female demon, a hunter, and a werewolf that would copy some moves from GTA. Ah, he had to love his friend group.
"If I had anything to give you I would, but I have nothing to offer and I doubt you would want a kiss." Now Iriel really couldn't help but laugh at that. He glanced over at the demon and snickered again. Well, he could offer him a bandaid, the poor Asshat.
Snickering still, he nodded his head as they took another street. Not too far out, the school could clearly be seen. "I would say about five minutes from here?" They were finally getting close to the goddamn school. |

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK ❝ WELL... Yeah that was one thing the bird had to look forward to. As far as that particular man was concerned, he wouldn't have to worry about him coming back anytime soon, implying he could even get his arm put back in place. Vincent might have been a little too happy to snap it in two after receiving a good knock to his noggin. He'd have to give credit to whatever doctor managed to fix that mess, but hopefully that was all the more reason why he wouldn't be coming back. Then again, he still had to ask himself why he cared. It wasn't like this kid was technically under his charge, after all, so if he died there was no real repercussions to have to worry about. In fact he already got paid so if he really wanted to, he could finish what that attacker started and get rid of the annoying bird. But even a demon had some principles, sadly. Why would anyone want to make a deal with him if he were to break it? It was just bad business! Now maybe after he got the kid to school, that'd be another story.Vincent was only half joking about the added expenses, but he did find the offer confusing. If not a tad infuriating whenever the phoenix would laugh. A kiss? It'd certainly shut the bird up for a couple of seconds but he didn't think he deserved the pleasure of getting a taste of the likes of him, which was saying a lot because the demon hardly ever was stingy when it came to that sort of stuff. Yeah. Definitely bitter. "I'd rather drink acid." he scoffed. Not that he hadn't before. But did kissing acid spewing hellhounds really count? Fortunately for the both of them, the building would come into sight and the demon would release a heavy sigh of relief. "Thank god." he snarled. What an odd thing for a demon to say. Best not question it. "After all this bullshit I could really use a drink." he thought out loud, already planning on hitting up the nearest bar. Maybe after he cleaned up a bit, but honestly he wasn't really sure he had the damned patience for that. it's dangerous, i'm fallen. There's no escape, I can't wait. ▼ NOTES: -I know XD 5 pages of awesome though. These two amuse me to no end. I dont want it to end XD but it must at some point...and now Iriel is under a vampires control so...have fun with that Vince if you meet Iriel again. | The bird turned his gaze slyly towards the demon with a look of 100% pure amusement that he didn't show too often. Normally, Iriel's expressions where rather blank and non-suggestive towards his actual feelings. He couldn't tell you why that was other then he just a permanent blank resting face much like some had permanent bitch face. Still, he was far more entertained with the demon then he should be. Vincent was a rather violent fellow but one with some kind of strange morals at least.
"Heh, rather drink acid, eh?" No offense was taken by the words. To be quite honest, Iriel just found it rather comical. It just added to the comical situation as well that Iriel had never kissed anyone before. Thus, if Vincent had accepted it, Iriel would of more then likely fucked that shit all up to hell and back.
"That is the better option, probably." The boy agreed with a small shrug of his tattooed shoulders. The school was in view now and the two slowly started to approach it, which meant their little first adventure together was about to come to an end, sadly.
As they neared the building, Iriel still had his amused look while the demon declared he needed a drink. That was most people opinions or thoughts after spending time with the bird. For once, Iriel did not take offense to this comment. He just shook his head with a small chuckle. "Enjoy your drink then. I'm sure you'll find a pleasant hole to crawl into to drink away the bullshit, Asshat."
He paused for a moment to think about something and then added. "Just don't go the 11th street one....they do horrible things with bottles....and tables..." Iriel shuddered slightly at that memory he picked up accidentally. |
