WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, It was late in the evening, as the sky threatened to let down a pour of rain the clouds gathering in the sky like so. It was actually really depressing for the detective as he had just lit a cigarette under the sky that threatened to weep any time now. The slight light provided by the stick lit up the dark alley that he had stopped in before the detective pulled the cancer stick from his mouth letting out a breath of smoke from his mouth before using his other hand to check the message he had just received from the station not long before. Someone had complained of loud noises next to their house, but none of the officers were as close or available.. so it was now the detectives job to check out something that was normally a normal cops job.
"Sometimes this job bites." he mumbled to himself before pressing the lit side of his stick against the wall to put it out, just as the rain started to fall upon the detectives back. Black trench coat, was the only thing that kept the water off of his back, as it was wrapped tightly around his shoulders. He was maybe a few blocks away from where the complaint was given, but the closer he got, the more he could feel that this wasn't going to be as normal a case as he had expected it to be. He could feel the cold metal of his pistol press against his side, as his black wings shivered in tension that wreaked from the area. David knew that downtown generally wreaked of this kind of thing, but it was something about this particular assignment that had the blonde thinking it was a good idea he had been sent instead of officers.
The fallen angel had a hint that this wasn't just a normal case, but perhaps that was just the other sense he had being one of the supernatural himself for as long as he had been. Finally finding the address he was looking for, the male moved slowly to the door hesitating of pulling his gun from its holster. The only good thing about being part of a world that wasn't supposed to be real, you could last longer in dangerous situations. So the man willed himself against pulling the human weapon as he wrapped his hand on the door echoing the all too familiar phrase from his mouth. "NYPD, Open up!" he called as calmly as he possibly could, of course that could be taken any way in this place so the man quickly fixed himself.
"I got a complaint about noise?" he called after, hoping that that would make things a little more bearable for whoever was waiting beyond the simple piece of wood in front of him. - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
Matty had been fighting with his father most of the evening, there had been blood spilled from both of them. However after the hours of fighting, Matty had snapped. His mother had not been home, no one but him and the jerk of a father who lay dead before him now. His father had no idea he'd been turned. That he was no longer normal, Did he have any fucking idea how hard it had been to hide this from everyone? Matty sat by his father's body, the blood still drying on his hands. He had thought about washing it off but his legs felt like jelly. Matty had made a mistake, he reacted out of fear and anger. His father had just been at the wrong place, and done the wrong thing at the same time as well. It had not ended well. At least his father had not suffered, Matty had accidentally killed him instantly. Was the blood to blame? He didn't know. Everything had changed since he felt that monster steal the very life that he was born with. No matter how much he hated his family sometimes. [break][break] "WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST FUCKING STOP BEING A BASTARD FOR ONE SECOND AND LISTEN TO ME!" He kicked his father's body and looked at the crimson on his feet. Putting his hand over his mouth, he felt the fangs against his hand. He couldn't do this, he really couldn't. The boy scurried back and fell on his ass looking at his father's body. Almost as if he waited for it to get back up. His father could not revive right? It wasn't like he had done anything to him other then kill him. That was a simple thought that would terrify him. Every time he closed his eyes, Matty's father face at death was right up in his face. He could still hear the yelling as if his father had still been breathing. [break][break] "P-please go away. Leave me alone!" The boy pressed his body against the wall, trying to block out the voices by shoving his hands over his ears. Anything to make them go away. Matty couldn't do this anymore. The voices were starting to drive him insane slowly, the longer he sat here in this room with his father's body the worse it'd end up actually getting. Matty heard the noise but he just tried to drown them out too. There wasn't really no one was here. That voice it was just another thing that his father was trying to use against him. Matty stood up and stumbled away from the door, blood on his clothes and hands still. Who the fuck had called them? The police, he slipped his bloody shirt off and shoved it somewhere. [break][break] Matty hoped this guy would go away, he tried to be quiet and act like no one was here. His father's body could rest there and he'd never get caught. Matty tried to scrub the blood off of his hands, ignoring the need to feed. He couldn't feed on his father's body or any unsuspecting human who walked into his setting. Stepping back out of the bathroom in just his pants Matty turned to look at the door. The knob was turning, he'd forgotten to lock the door?! The police were coming in? And what could Matty do, his father's body was still there and the vampire looked terrified. It was just self defense, he didn't mean to.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, Everything about the situation was enough to turn the detective onto high alert, when you were a cop you just knew these things, but when you were a cop and a supernatural your senses were the top of the top. David did everything he could not to freak out instantly and start shooting, like his twitching hand wanted him to do as he hovered near the door of the house. When there was a silence, he knew something was wrong... every fiber of his being told him he did not want to know what laid behind the wood that now blocked him from his job in front of him.
Even if David wanted to turn and leave now, he found that he couldn't, not that he was that frightened or that this was his job but something else. Some higher being he would claim, was why he needed to be here right then and right now... In the end that also meant that the detective still felt some heavenly response to helping others even if he had denied it after falling like he had. In the end, the man knew that it wasn't the case, the black wings on his back proof enough to that. Even so, he found that taking fate and justice into his own hands was riveting.. it gave him something to hold on since falling from grace.
The man took a deep breath whispering into the radio on his shoulder hidden under the black coat that was soaked with water. "This is agent hearnet, requesting back up at location 746 coordinates 23, 56, 93. " he whispered against the rain as the dull beep responded sounding that someone had heard him. 'Back up is on their way, proceed with caution.' a voice registered over the line before it went dead once more as the only sound on the night air was the sound of rain that pierced the ground with its thundering noise. The detective took another breath wishing he hadn't had put out his cig so soon, like he was going to need it.
"I'm coming in!" he called ready as if he was to dodge a bullet, the man tried the door first, finding the handle turn easily. Without as second thought the man instantly pushed the barrier of wood aside grabbing his gun from his waist in a quick fashion as his golden orbs had to take in everything all at once. The man, the kid, everything registered in his mind in a flash second, as his body went into hyper alert as he did the first thing that pumped into his veins and mind. "NYPD, please put your hands above your head!" he yelled almost on habit from all the cases like this.
But it had hit him instantly, the feeling of the supernatural.. this kid.. .he was a vampire. From that deduction it was clear to understand what had happened, even if he didn't know the details it was a pretty much 90% chance that he had indeed killed the man on the floor, but the strangest thing was that he wasn't fed on. So maybe, there was a chance that this wasn't one of those stories, where David would have to take another life from this world with his own hands. - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
This was not okay, this was really really bad. Matty's mother wasn't home yet and the cops were here. He didn't try to be that loud. His father yelling must have attracted people. Made them call the cops or something. Not that it'd be the first time. But this time that man lay dead on the floor, blood staining the ground. And Matty had been the cause. It hadn't been on purpose but the cops wouldn't see it that way. He'd have to run somewhere. Find a place to hide far away from this place. Maybe he could play it off as something else, it had been an accident after all. Matty didn't mean to do such a thing. It wasn't like he asked to become what he was now. He'd just been in the wrong place at a bad time like his father had. Please don't open the door, he had wanted to mumble but it was too late. That door was opening and Matty felt the anger well up again. [break][break] Now someone else was going to try to hurt him, and they would have no idea what had happened. Why he had become the way he was. So now he'd have to kill again, or worse get killed himself. No actually death would be a blessing. He just wasn't ready for it yet. He didn't want to end up dying at this age. He still had so much he wanted to do that even being turned wasn't going to take that away. This cop needed to just turn around and walk away if he valued his life. Matty didn't want to kill another person because they wouldn't leave. Matty's father had been abusive and asked for it but this guy was a total stranger. [break][break] "No! you are just like him, gonna shoot first and ask questions later!" Matty ran at the cop, his steps a bit unsteady from the shock of what he'd done to his father. But he kept running till he lunged at the cop trying to grab the gun out of his hand instead of biting him. Matty had shown his fangs and hissed but he didn't bite the cop. He wouldn't do that, Matty was only reacting out of fear. Trying to use this as the moment to escape if he could get the gun in his own hands, and get this guy out of his way. Not kill him though just make him listen so Matty could flee. "Get the hell out! Just leave me alone..." He was scared, his tried to keep his voice from shaking. But this was just not a time for that, it wasn't even possible anymore. Matty realized he'd go to prison for killing his father. He'd die there even if it was only an accident. [break][break] He had not asked for anything of this, so as he tried to wrestle the gun away from the taller man which was likely not going to work. Matty sank his fangs into the arm holding the gun, obviously by now he was trembling and not trying to hide it. Matty might be a vampire, and someone his father tried to make stronger. But he had just murdered that man and it scared him to death realizing he could go to prison for that.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, For a simple noise complaint, this was not what the detective expected at all. There should have been a simple job, to calm down a party and in some cases domestic violence, but this was way way more than he expected to deal with that night. So when the cop had entered the home and had raised his gun (in his own defense) it seemed to frighten the young man that was still standing in the room. The cop should have expected no less, supernatural or not, he was not afraid of the other ... but if anyone else had entered the house.. they probably would have died the minute they saw those fangs bared at him now.
"Calm down kid, I'm not gonna shoot-" the blonde's words were cut off as suddenly the other lurched at him going for his gun and it took everything the cop had to not shoot the vampire that was coming at him. In a quick attempt to throw the child off he threw off his jacket before it got ripped exposing his t-shirt and tattooed skin underneath as well as jet black wings that spread wide once they were freed, sending feathers flying across the room. The child was in a state of hysteria it seemed as he bit into his flesh with those fangs of his sending sensations down his arm that was only hone when a vampire bit its victim.
"Shit!" the man cursed under his breath as it fucking hurt when he bit so violently, even for a fallen angel like himself. Doing the first thing that came to his mind, the man made sure the safety lock was on before tossing the gun aside to free both hands so that he could man handle the frightened vampire that attacked him. Even as a vampire after all, in this situation, the kid was at a loss, with the way he wasn't coherent as well as David's many years as a cop just put him in a better advantage. With a grunt the blonde moved to kick the others legs out from under him and using his own body weight to take them both down to the ground.
He wasn't against getting down and dirty if that's what it would take to get to the supernatural that was still clinging to his arm with his fangs. "Shit kid, that hurts you need to let go now." he said pinning the smaller male with his body over him and one knee on his chest to keep him secured down, his free hand grabbing for his wrists to pin those above his head and his bitten arm pressing on what he could while the kids fangs were still embedded in his flesh. His wings flared behind him spreading black feathers once again that seemed to now surround them. "You wanna listen to me now? Hopefully before the others get here and we have to explain why I got bitten, and that I had to kill a minor ?!" - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
Matty wanted him to go away, he wanted to just be left alone. They could try to charge him but Matty would not be found the second he was given a chance to escape. He didn't mean to kill his father, it just happened. They were not supposed to be near each other much anymore. But it still happened to and his father paid for it. With his life of course. Matty's panic rose again as he still struggled for the gun. He wanted that damn gun to end all of this. Whether to get this guy to leave him alone or put a bullet in his own head. It'd end up being one of the two if he could get it. But of course that'd be too easy. The guy had thrown the gun away from them, Matty knew nothing about guns after all. So he would not have known if the safety was on either. He would have just tried to fight with it anyway. [break][break] "Yes you are! You so were!" His voice was rising again, the panic a lot more obvious then it had been before. Not exactly his best moment but Matty couldn't change how this was going. His father had died by his own hand after all. It was not a good image to think of right now either, and that he already knew. Perhaps he'd be able to figure this out later though once this guy left. So far it didn't seem like it'd happen though. And Matty was still trying to hold his own against this guy till his feet were swept out from underneath him. Next thing he knew he was on the ground hissing, and struggling. Releasing the guy's arm after he realized it was not helping in his attempts to get away or lash out at the stranger. [break][break] The wings had caught him off guard even more. Matty found himself looking at the wings and the feathers that littered his house now. Really? This guy didn't seem human at all either. Matty didn't get why he didn't notice. Had his panic been taking over everything, it was very likely. The vampire always wanted to just get away from scary situations. And this one had been truly truly scary to the tenth or twentieth degree. And he hated that idea but there was no true way to escape. He was what he was, he'd done what he did. Now he had to accept what was coming. More so since this cop caught him. "F-fine...but haha I'm going to jail aren't I?" He was scared still, he wanted to refuse, he even tried to struggle more. The words that came out of his mouth were only half agreeing. [break][break] He did not want to be trapped, or go to jail. He wanted none of that.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, The detective couldn't exactly remember why he had entered that door, since he had known that something wasn't right. Yet here he was struggling with a minor who had bit him. If he had been a human, that could have been lethal, not that the man knew that the child was a pureblood vampire. Instead he just wrestled with the other in a attempt to get him at a point where he would listen to him so they didn't have to play this game anymore.
When his arm was released the cop quickly pulled away from his mouth area his arm dripping slightly with blood from where the vampire had pierced his skin. " damn, that better not scar" he mumbled to himself before noticing the other had been slightly caught off guard by his black wings, the signal that he had fallen, and was just like him. In the end it was also all the cop needed to secure the child under him so his poor little squirming and attempts to get away were all but futile under the larger mans weight. David looked over him now and the fear that cloaked his body in waves.
Even as he pitifully struggled David's grip didn't faulted on the other as his hues glanced over the child. " how about you tell me what happened, and there is a chance we will both get out of this without any trouble okay?" he said. It was obvious to the man that this boy had not been a super long... He had fought vampires before but this boy had little to no control over himself which meant that this was probably an accident or something had happened for the boy to lose control. " how about we make a deal, okay?" he said softly trying not to scare him any more than he already was.
" I'll let you go and we can get out of this awkward position. But in exchange we are gonna calmly talk about what happened. You don't attack me, and won't try to run okay?" he said slowly. " I'm gonna try to help you alright?" he said softly. " you have a much better chance with me than the cops that are coming who don't even know what you are " - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
Matty felt stressed out, he just wanted to make all of this go away. Why the hell did this have to happen? Why the heck was this guy even here? Yes at that moment he almost felt that things were not going to help. Sighing lightly he felt a bit scared too now, more then before. This guy was one of them. He was not human, he was supernatural creature and yet it confused Matty. What was he supposed to say right now? Trying to struggle away from him at this point, it'd probably be so difficult for him. All he wanted was to be left alone. It didn't help him to begin with. He did not exactly want to make a scar for him either. That made him irritated, Matty didn't exactly think when he'd bitten this cop. David was not someone he knew. Crying would be weird for him after all he was a guy, guys did not end up crying either. [break][break] "L-Let me go! Let me go!" He squirmed, Matty still wanted to be let go. He felt too scared and frustrated at the same time. None of this was something he wanted. But of course this guy was not likely to listen, he seemed to have his own ideas in mind at this point anyway. He felt too tired from here, maybe he'd have to give up fighting at least for a little bit. It could not hurt to do much else either. "I-I don't know. I can't! You'll just send me away...He wouldn't leave me alone. He tried to hurt me." The little boy looked terrified again, a vampire scared of a human. What would he do about that? After all that man was his father but he was no longer human. And he ended up killing him. [break][break] "F-fine...A deal. Whatever just get off! Fine I won't attack you." He gave a small nod and tried not to struggle further even though he wanted to. This had stressed him out, simple as that really. It did not end up mattering, Matty was still struggling through his own fears and thoughts. He was not fighting this stranger anymore but of course that was something he needed to deal with. This all was something that needed to be discussed. What he had done to his father, and now how his mother was going to take this. If she knew anything about him. But he felt a bit of fear welling up again. Matty could only nod as he stayed there, giving up on his struggles. He did not want to fight anymore he just wanted this guy to get off of him. [break][break] His body was already bruised and battered from his father so this wasn't pleasant to have. And he did not want to deal with it either. Not if he could manage to avoid it. But now this guy really wanted to know, so he'd have to tell him what happened. But would he have to include how he got turned in the first place? It had been painful and scary, sitting alone like that thinking he was going to die then he didn't die. It just didn't make any sense to the vampire child.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, As much as he told himself that that wasn't going to scar it was obvious just from how hard the child had bit that he would get something from it. Even if it was a small scar on his arm, it would still be there over his tattoo's. In the end, it also meant that he wouldn't be able to forget this kid, which meant he had a even more reason to make sure this turned out better rather than worse. Yet the child, the child didn't want to listen to him and continued to squirm away from him.
"No! I can't let you go till you calm down!" he said quickly. He didn't want to hurt him, but in the end.. if this kid didn't want to listen to him.. he was going to. "Let me help you please..." he said softly. Even if the man didn't want to hurt the other, he had to make him listen and if he couldn't someone was going to die. Yet when the child continued to rant about what happened, the fallen angel found himself saddening at the very thought of it. So this man had forced the young vampires hand to attack him. Finally after the man answered he slowly let his wrists go, and got up to let the other up as well.
David was slow making sure that the younger wouldn't attack again out of fear. Instead slowly he offered the other his hand to Matty to help him up from the position on the ground he was in. "I promise, I won't hurt you... so let me help you okay?" he said softly looking into those frightened orbs. " I'm a cop, I'm meant to help kids in these situations, and I'll bet this wasn't your fault was it?" he said softly. He didn't want to frighten the other any more but he also wanted him to know that he was on your side.
"I'll make sure your not lonely anymore okay." he said softly. - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
Matty should have felt worse about biting him, however he almost didn't. He was already startled and scared. The boy did not know how to handle these things either, it was only stressing him out. Couldn't all of these things just go away, so he did not have to think about it. For a moment he thought that David was going to shove him away. Or try to hurt him. Put him in jail or something. That was still a fear running through his mind as he waited here, waiting to be let go and freed from this thing. It didn't help or make any sense either, just what could he say or do. It was not like he even knew David, they'd just run into each other. By that he meant that David had stormed into his house with a gun. All because of some noise and Matty's refusal to open up the door anyway. At this point it was not likely to help. Matty hated being stuck at someone else's mercy though. [break][break] Matty didn't know how he could go about this, if he'd be able to truly calm down or anything. All of it just seemed to add more stress then he wanted right about now. What was he supposed to feel. Would it end up helping him or do him any good either? Sighing lightly he tried to figure out what to do. Other then calming down and just sitting here. He did not have any idea of what to do here right now. "I-I don't get why you'd want to help me." He whimpered a little bit but Matty had to keep calm. It'd likely only end up causing more unwanted problems for him at this point. What was he supposed to say? It was not like Matty knew what to do, other then mumble under his breath or something. [break][break] He wanted to forget everything that had happened here. It did not end up making any sense here, he was just starting to struggle all over again. However he'd do his best to just ignore it. It'd probably not end up going that bad, hopefully. Yet at the same time he didn't know what to say. Matty might as well get over this, and accept what was going to happen at the same time. "F-fine...but you betray me. Well do I need to say more." He didn't want to think about that, but it'd probably be rather awkward. Sighing lightly again he wondered what David would do to him. He said help but would it really even be help? Just might as well let him try. He hesitated but eventually took the hand offered, and did his best to get up. Even if he felt jumpy and scared. "Help me then...I don't want to be alone or scared anymore...it's not safe here anymore." He tried to keep calm but he knew it'd fail. Everything failed for Matty.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, The detective could understand the position that the boy was in, and he could understand how he was afraid with what was going on. David could only think of what he would be like if this was his place instead of the young vampire whose fate rested in his hands. David really didn't want anything but the opportunity to help the other out, since at this point... David was the child's only hope if he didn't want to get arrested and sent to jail. Let alone anyone finding out exactly what both of them were, creatures that weren't supposed to exist in the world.
So when the child finally decided to work with him, David let out a sigh and helped the other up as he actually threatened him if he betrayed him. David couldn't help it but laugh at the empty threat, as he had already taken the other down once. "I have no intention of betraying you.. but i'll keep that in mind." he said to the other as he helped him up off the ground as the other shakily took his hand and took a few moments to adjust himself admitting that he didn't want to be alone and empty anymore. It was enough to convince David that he was probably right about this situation but he still needed to get the child's statement.
"Alright, we will leave.. but I still need you to tell me what happened here." he said calmly looking around the room. The detective all but had already figured it out, but the boy's statement was the end of this. "From the beginning.. please tell me how this fight started, and anything else that you can tell me that will help me win your case. " he said softly. David was going to take care of this boy, and he was going to make sure that this wasn't his fault. It was easy to tell just from the scene that the man had been violent, even without the added fact that the boy in front of him was a vampire.
In fact... David had a sneaking suspicion that if he hadn't been one, the man probably would have killed matty, and this situation would have been the exact opposite. "I promise... I'll protect you from now on okay?" he said grabbing his jacket now and hiding his pitch black wings once more behind the black jacket and grabbing his gun once more before quickly putting it at his side so the other wouldn't freak out. [nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY The boy whimpered, he did not like this place, he did not like the feeling he was getting right now. All of that made him feel so freaking stressful to him. However at the same moment he'd rather just let it go. They needed to get out of here. Matty didn't want to be near his father's body anymore. Already he felt so terrified cause of this guy coming in here with a gun. Cops might be allowed or supposed to have guns but still. That did not actually end up making any of this okay, not at all really. This guy was someone he didn't know, and now he still felt really nervous around him. What was he supposed to do? 'I'm really scared...this isn't good.' He felt sick, dizzy and just like he needed food. Maybe human food would do, he had eaten some before. He'd actually thought it helped but he could be wrong. It wasn't like he really knew anything. [break][break] Sighing a little bit he tried to calm down, tried not to want to lash out again. It all sounded rather bad to him of course, however he'd rather not talk about it either. That'd probably only make matters a heck of a lot worse to him anyway. He felt sick to his stomach still and he just wanted to get out. Looking back over at his father's body he was not sure what to say. He was scared honestly. Just what would he end up finding from here, how far would this end up going? It'd probably not end up helping either. "You better, I don't exactly want to scar a face like yours..." He huffed, he still wanted to act more annoyed then scared. But of course Matty was only so good at acting before it got the better of him again. [break][break] Matty wanted to forget about all of these things. It'd have to be okay if he did those things. Maybe this once he'd be alright with how everything ended up going? He could entirely be certain. And nor did he really exactly want to be, Sighing lightly he tried to calm his body down again. He needed to tell his story after all. Talk about everything that had just happened here after all. "I-I okay...It's complicated though. This isn't exactly just a one time thing he's always been violent." Matty wanted to forget about it but he couldn't. Right now trying to forget was just not even worth it. He had to tell his story and this was not going to happen either anyway. At least not right now. [break][break] Matty could forget later after he'd told this guy all about it. That was all that he needed to do. "I'll tell you when we aren't here anymore. Where are we going to go though?" He still wanted to not be terrified but sadly he also knew that was not going to work out so easily. No matter how he tried to do these things on his own after all that had happened. "Okay!" He actually seemed kinda okay with this but Matty just wanted to leave. All of this was too scary for him, he barely looked that violent? At least he hoped he didn't look that violent. He didn't entirely want to be at this point. He wanted to be useful to other people. And yet he had been turned and it fucked everything up so quickly. [break][break] "H-he just got mad at me because I didn't want to train or be in the family business. Or any of that stuff, and that I wasn't really talking to him. So...he always hits me when he doesn't get his way. It's supposed to be normal isn't it?" He didn't see it as anything else but that. However he still lashed out, which was probably not his best idea to begin with anyway. Not right now, at the very least it'd probably just fuck shit up a heck of a lot further anyway. This was not his fault, it had never been his fault right? But Matty had still taken a life just to save his own. That had been anything but part of the plan and yet it still happened. There was no running away from it now. [break][break] And now he had to tell a stranger what had happened here, well okay David wasn't a stranger anymore. Something had changed in the last few minutes here.

WORD COUNT BY MINNIE OF GS AND IT'S DARK ON A COLD DECEMBER, A small bit of laughter came from the detective at the other's response. Didn't want to scar a face like his huh? David grinned some after the laughter had settled from his stomach. "Does that mean you like looking at 'a face like mine'. " he teased the other slightly. He would rather them be teasing each other than actually be in a fight at this very moment. The less this kid was hyped up on adrenaline, the less likely for David to have to tackle him to the ground again and neither liked that thought with the police not far behind David. To be honest, it would be best to talk about this later, but David would make sure to protect the young vampire, since he had promised to do that.
When the vampire had started to explain, the fallen angel felt his eyes glance down at the sound of his story. "It's not normal for someone to go through that, I'm sorry you had to go through that." he said softly to the other. David hated stories like this, mostly because he had seen it before.. seen the devastation it had done to the child. If the child survived at all in the end, they couldn't save everyone after all.. no matter how much he wanted to.. sometimes they just got there too late. Yet as the boy continued David could feel the fear that seemed to part from his body like a second skin. David was about to take them out, but... the other seemed to finally break down and tell him what had happened.
David couldn't help but clutch his hand in anger at what this man had done. If only he could have wrapped his own two hands around the man's neck and ended him himself. Spare this kid of the pain of living with death, David had been around death his entire life so it wasn't something new to him. Before he could stop himself he crossed the distance between them and moved his hand over the other's hair and pulled him into his chest resting his own head on the boy's softly. " No... it's not normal. I'm so sorry, I couldn't have saved you from the pain your feeling now. This is not your fault, and I'll make sure to show you what it means to be truly cared about." he said softly. Even if Matty was a vampire and was to outlive the human race, he was still a child in every right. A child going through something horrible and faced to see the world for its cruelty rather than the joys.
"come now... let's get out of here okay." he said softly. The blonde slowly pulled away from the other and gave him a soft smile and taking his hand and gently tugging him towards the door. "You'll never have to come back here... and you wont be forced into this life anymore where no one understands you." he assured the other with a gentle smile. "Because.. i do." - - when i first met you

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY Matty huffed, and stuck his tongue out at this guy. David really was getting on his nerves a little bit. Perhaps he was just getting a little annoyed, however he'd just let it go now. He could not get angry with the guy who basically saved his life. Or well had been trying to save his life. Now whether he actually succeeded or not was something he wasn't so sure about. After all he had just murdered a man. Self defense or not, the man that was still there in the room had been killed by his own hands. What else was he supposed to do? Besides go along with this, if he tried to escape it'd only get him into trouble that he did not want. The laughter was actually good though, it did make him feel a bit better. However he'd also rather not talk about those other things. What else could he end up saying? "Hah don't let it go to your head, don't think you need to get a bigger one." He huffed, Matty wouldn't lie. After all he never said he did or didn't like it. He just avoided the question entirely right about now. Better off in Matty's mind. [break][break] Matty didn't want to talk about what happened, if he hadn't been turned or done what he did. Then well he would likely have died. That was not something he wanted to even think about. Knowing it would only get worse for him if he let things get to him in this way. Or go so bad that he could do very little about it. Shrugging his shoulders he tried to get out of this situation. Try to focus on other things instead, after all what else was he going to say, or do. Would he end up getting into trouble with this angel guy? Fallen angel guy would probably be a proper term but still. "It's normal to me...so whatever." Matty didn't seem to like it or he wouldn't have lashed out the way he did, but no he really did not want to have it go back. His father would remain dead and would never get back up. [break][break] This had been his life, he assumed it was just a normal thing. Till he was turned then his anger got worse. And he wanted to kill his father. And he had, sadly there was no avoiding that. Or perhaps he was not even trying to avoid that. Who knew currently, they had other things in mind right now. Both of them did truly seem to have other things to think about. How far behind would the cops be? Would he end up being arrested before they even get out of here? Probably if he kept taking his sweet time to sit here like this. Matty flinched and almost wanted to scramble back, but he didn't. Matty didn't want to lash out this time, all he wanted was to find out what this guy even wanted. The touching and all that great stuff came as a shocker. [break][break] Matty wanted to struggle, but internally he told himself not to. It'd be the best to not do those sort of things to himself anyway right now. It'd probably not end up helping to begin with either. Touching was not something he was even the slightest bit comfortable with. All because of his father, so this was not surprising that he wanted to actually fight David. "Why would you do that? You don't ...nevermind." He shrugged, Matty was shivering now, he wanted to pull away, touching was not something he was comfortable with. He literally was so close to just shoving him away and running but he said he wouldn't. [break][break] "F-fine...let's just go then." He didn't know why he felt so weird. This was his home, this place had always been his home and yet he wanted nothing to do with it anymore. Not at all right now, what else was going to even happen. For all he knew was that he might end up messing it up all over again. Matty wondered how long David would want to be around him before he got tired of him too. Or wanted to kill him instead. He fought a little as he was pulled out the door. He didn't want to stay here, after all it'd just end up hurting him if he stayed here. He did not feel like going to prison. "You understand me?" Matty didn't buy that, but this guy wasn't human either. Even if he likely knew more about this then Matty did.
