You guys are absolutely amazing. We've only been open for a little over two weeks and we already have so many dynamic characters and creative threads! Just recently we've even reached over 100 members. HOW COOL IS THAT?



Exciting, right? But before I go on and tell you about some of the new developments that will be coming soon to MAU due to our growing community, there's just a few quick PSAs for everyone. First, if you posted in the grand opening event, your character was accepted, and you haven't yet gotten your free ability added to your application, please inform a staff member so we can fix that for you! Also, more importantly, there is a new addition to the site rules. And just so you don't have to play "guess the difference", the new addition, regarding power playing, god modding, and metagaming, is quoted below. Please make sure you read and understand this.

05. roleplay
do not god mod, power play, or metagame; this kills the fun for the people you're roleplaying with! god modding is when your character is acting too perfectly or using superhuman abilities which they shouldn't have. please remember that everyone has flaws and nobody's entirely perfect. superhumans are no exception. power playing is when you determine the action or reaction of a player character which is not your own without their roleplayer's permission. never assume that a character which isn't yours will react the way you expect. metagaming is when you use ooc information to influence your character, often causing them to jump to conclusions which they wouldn't normally be able to realistically make.

With this in mind, please try to be conscious of what you're writing so that everyone can have an enjoyable roleplay experience.

And now for the additions you've all been waiting for:
Hunters will soon get a description which explains them and the Hunter Association in more depth. I assure you that this will NOT interfere with any of your histories, since there are plenty of hunters who have gone rogue and kill for profit or fun. That said, we hope that this added detail may better allow everyone to understand the MAU universe. Once this information is released, there will be another announcement, so keep an eye out!

Eveeeents! Events are going to be starting up soon. The first one will be a school welcoming event focused on students and faculty rather than civilians, so start to think about which of your character(s) you may want to include. And if this isn't a good time for you, don't worry! There will be plenty more site events after this one. Plenty more.
