[ABILITIES]
• liesmith: the ability to make others believe their lies and tricks. while not a completely unavoidable thing, it becomes really hard for the target to resist the user from thinking in their perspective.
• superior speed: self-explanatory
[PERSONALITY]
There are many ways to describe Ethan in regards his personality. Some of the more popular ones are "irritating," " annoying," and "aggravating." It's not like Ethan can really blame anyone for feeling that way because such is definitely the truth. With a deadpan expression, Ethan bluntly says exactly how he feels about things no matter how rude or uncouth it may be. He'll even butt into conversations between people he doesn't even know. Not that he cares much. If people can't stand his personality, it's really their loss. Yet as blunt as he can be, he does have a strong love for lies too, especially when doing so causes something interesting to happen in the end. It's not that he has a penchant for purposefully hurting a person with hostile intent. He simply just enjoys having a little fun when he's bored. If nobody gets hurt in the end, all's well that ends well, right?
Yet as far as his faults go, he does have a few good traits. As much as he'll moan and groan about doing work, he's admittedly quite a responsible person in regards work and things of the sort. He knows when to be serious when the situation calls for it and actually gives quite amazing advice the few rare times people choose to confide in him. Overall, he's a mixed bag of sass, more sass, and small hints of good, however the latter being only available to those that can stand his presence longer than ten minutes.

[APPEARANCE]
As his last name implies, Ethan is Japanese and thus his many features are that in appearance. Standing at 5'10" and weighing 135 lbs, he has a rather slender build as a whole. His skin is fair and his straight hair is more black than it is brown. He does not have the most pronounced cheekbones or nose, but he feels such suits is face nicely. Perhaps the feature that tends to stand out the most in regards Ethan are his deep blue eyes. In all honesty, Ethan has no clue what side of the family it comes from, but it makes him look "cool and mysterious" which is hella awesome. In regards his facial expressions, Ethan... doesn't really have one. He prefers to keep a rather neutral deadpan expression as a whole. It's easier pissing people off that way.
As for his sense of style, it honestly differs as a whole. Ethan is an extremely lazy person and thus at school and at home, his fashion style can be considered dressing comfortably. He won't think twice about his appearance choosing to throw on a humorous graphic t-shirt, hoodie, and jeans. When heading out with friends, though, his style definitely becomes more stylish. He'll opt for dressing in the most popular fashion trends of the season. As to why he does that, he honestly doesn't know. But then again, nobody needs a set reason to look amazingly hot.
There isn't much that can be said about Ethan's kitsune form (though he'd beg to differ). Due to him being young in kitsune years, he's a bit on the smaller side in comparison to most others. Still, while he may not make up for in size, he does so with his slender build in speed. His fur is a light flaxen color constant across his entire body from the his head to the tip of his single tail.

[HISTORY]
"Nothing good ever comes from war, dear."
Perhaps that's the thing that Ethan remembered his mother telling him the most. Ethan, or Satou Kazuyoshi at the time, was born during 1861 during the ending years of the Edo era in Japan. His parents worked in the rice fields. It was a difficult life and the income they received was small, but they were happy. That was his parents occupation for the many centuries of their existence, after all. But when the Edo era of peace came to an end, things became difficult. The country became torn with skirmishes in one place of the country and the other as Japan was forced to modernize to catch up with the many other military forces of the world.
Worried for his children, his father ordered that Ethan and his older sister remain in their kitsune forms at all times in the forest. Sure it was a bit unorthodox as a whole, but if it kept his children happy in the end, doing such was worth it. As far as the father was concerned, things were quickly beginning to change and thus any chance of a real childhood was quickly being torn to shreds. And not surprisingly, such ended up happening. His father was drafted to fight in the first world war and not too long after into the second where he was killed in combat. Though Ethan stayed relatively detached from the outside world, he didn't miss a single moment of it watching and learning carefully from the shadows.
Seeing the devastating effects the war had, not only on his mother, but also the country and world as a whole, it wasn't difficult to understand why Ethan wanted nothing to do with humans at all. They were a greedy bunch with a prideful hunger for violence. It disgusted him. His sister became acclimated into the human world after their father died, wanting to help provide for their mother. As for Ethan, he simply stayed where he was. His sister constantly encouraged him to join her by telling him bits and pieces about her life. However, it wasn't until she began speaking about a school for people like him that he finally started considering her offer. Sure, he still didn't like the idea of the human world as a whole, but it was something new. After more than a century, being a fox 24/7 was becoming rather boring.
