HUMANS

Humans are given a standard four-year education in compliance with the American education system. The years listed below are what is typical of that year, but there are exceptions for those who've skipped a year or were held back.

• First Year | Freshman | aged 14-15

• Third Year | Junior | aged 16-17
  
• Fourth Year | Senior | aged 17-18
  

NON-HUMANS

Supernatural creatures don't have such a rigid structure since they are comprised of many species with a variety of lifespans. Creatures with a lifespan comparable to a human may, if they choose, follow the four-year plan of a human. However, since the goal of the school is to teach supernatural creatures how to "hide in plain sight" within human society, this is not generally advised. Instead, their level of education is determined by the skills they've learned.

• First Year | either their first chronological year at the school or the individual is entirely unskilled at hiding their supernatural nature. faculty keeps a close eye on them. 
• Second Year | they can pass as a human, but often seem quirky or out of place. they make frequent mistakes, but of a lesser magnitude as first years. 
• Third Year | they pass as a human quite well, with only occasional mistakes. 
• Fourth Year | not only do they pass as human, but they can also reasonably hide and justify their less-experienced classmates' slip-ups. 

Certain creatures, such as vampires, are granted special invites to night classes.
