  Welcome home, brother and sister. To say Libitina (Lih-bee-TEE-nah) is the darkest of all the Vampire Covens is an understatement. To have the more powerful and superior races cower or refuse to reach their full potential for the sake of humanity is appalling. This is why we strive to change the world around us to assist evolution down the path it has already begun to take. A vampire amongst humans is the same as humanity amongst cattle. We do not criticize but encourage the killing of them to lessen their numbers in assisting with that tide. Libitina is from Latin meaning grave or death. There is the obvious translation meaning this is the Coven that brings death with them. However the more common translation amongst its members is home. There is no safer place for a being than a grave. It is a place without judgement, without fear. It is a place of acceptance, rest, eternity, and liberty. We are not a small local Coven. The Coven's origins date back millenia. A reason for its large population is due to its swallowing up of smaller Covens after disputes. There are numerous factions within, one for each continent. Each of these factions having dignitaries all of which answer to the Coven Leader. (Further details concerning positions is in post below.) It is at this point in history that the Coven Leader is visiting its Americas branch for reasons that are to remain hushed until plots begin unfolding. Seeking:
All types are welcome really. This is pretty much the Coven for those that don't fit in anywhere else. Secrecy about fellow Coven members are of the utmost importance so trust is a must. I would say on a safe limb that most of our member base are psychopathic and sociopathic. You can be a killer and torturer while still being trustworthy and loyal to those in the Coven. Trust. Secrecy. And loyalty to those in the Coven. These are musts. Statutes Where we accept members and encourage violent behavior towards humanity there is a need of structure and stability. Statute One Never dishonor the Coven leader nor any of the five Dignitaries. To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Statute Two Never betray the Coven or its secrets (which includes its member base's identities). To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Statute Three Never cause self harm to the Coven. If it may benefit yourself but cause harm to another Coven Sister or Coven Brother, this is forbidden. (An example would be to steal the possessions of another member.) To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Statute Four Never kill a Coven Brother or Coven Sister. To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Statute Five Never kill an allianced member of the Coven (any beings that are not vampires that have an alliance directly with the Coven). To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Statute Six Never attempt to leave the accepting embrace of the Coven. Once a Coven Sister and Coven Brother, always a Coven Sister and Coven Brother. To do so is to invoke the wrath of the Coven. Follow these statutes and all else is allowed to your discretion. If a Coven member takes issue with another Coven member the issue will be brought to the Coven Leader to be sorted out. And she was also the one whom influenced Elizabeth Bathory to bathe in the blood of her own long list of victims that totals over 600 young females within a 30 year time span. All of which was done under her watchful eye. Elsie is an Aristocrat Vampire and is in no rush to seek in becoming a Pureblood. Rather than having the ability to have complete control over another, she prefers to allow her members the ability to choose for themselves.
