EVENT ONE
WELCOMING FESTIVITIES | School is back in session! Granted, some students are a bit more excited to be here than others, so Hisso Academy is hosting an on-campus festival to welcome the large influx of new students and faculty. Hopefully everyone will soon be in high spirits! The celebratory festivities are happening on a Friday evening so that all students may partake (including the sunlight-sensitive variety). Both day and night classes were canceled to allow for everyone to prepare.
Carnival rides have been set up in the outer sports fields, while assorted stations for games and other activities have been set up in the courtyard by the school's various clubs and departments. This event will help showcase their diverse variety of clubs and, hopefully, attract new members. It's also an excellent way of giving students and faculty an opportunity to socialize in a casual setting.
—OOC INSTRUCTIONS This event is going to be primarily member-driven. Members will be making the threads and determining most of the action, so although an NPC might drop in to shake things up or give your character a special prize, you don't need to wait up for that to happen. Feel free to post in this thread to gather groups, brainstorm ideas, or whatever else you need!
- Event sign-ups are limited to students and faculty unless you have a good reason for a civilian (staff permission required) to be involved
- Post here to join any activity listed below - you may also include @tags of other members if you already have a planned group
- Each group of participants in an activity corresponds to one thread. If you're the person starting the thread, put [EVENT] in the title and link to it here
- Your character(s) can be in as many activities as you can handle
- You have until May 27 at midnight EST to sign up, though the actual threads can continue for as long as you need

| No self-respecting celebration is complete without a big, colorful bouncy castle! The person in charge of this activity is only letting in four people at a time for a few minutes, but there's no age limits here!

There's been some mass confusion going on with these, so I'm giving everyone until tomorrow (June 13) at midnight EST to post their threads and link them here. If you absolutely can't do that, message me and we'll figure stuff out /o/
ALSO, if anyone would like to make a last-minute sign-up, feel free to claim one of the open spots in incomplete groups (ferris wheel and prep time)
EDIT: Everyone who's participating should have their event threads up! Those who did not do so within the established time period cannot have their threads count as official event threads (though no one is stopping you from RPing at the festival for fun). Questions and concerns should be directed at Iceguin /o/ |
