Mia couldn't explain the excitement of being able to go out on her own. It had taken almost a week to convince not only reggie, but cobalt as well that she could survive just fine on her own. So finally after a bit of hesitation, she had decided that she would go downtown while her boys were in school. That meant that she could have plenty of time to go shopping and pick up things for the boy's while she was out. There was even the thought of her picking up dinner for them, since she obviously couldn't cook, but she felt like she owed them so much for saving her. So the girl had visited a few pastry shops and gotten a couple things, for both boys that they could try as well as getting herself something to eat. It was a small snack more than a lunch, because she wanted to save what she had for the dinner she wanted to buy the boys so they could eat together once they got out of class. It was a really good idea in her mind, as a small basket hung from her arm where she had hidden the pastry's she had bought for her and the boys to share along with dinner. The hardest part would probably be not eating the sweets before she got them back to Reggie and Cobalt as she had already eaten a few without being able to really stop herself. No wonder these pastry things were so quick to sell and the made so much money, because they were so addicting you couldn't have just one! As the thought crossed her mind, the dragon couldn't help but notice something out of the corner of her eye. A group of guys that seemed like they were up to no good, everything that the boys had taught her told her to walk away. Ignore it and keep walking...her brain told her almost as if she was listening to both of the boys say it one after another. Yet, she couldn't help it and found herself storming over to the group of four taller and bulkier men. "Hey what do you think you're doing!" she called them off doing her best to look intimidating and puffing up her chest at them. It was absolutely, not effective as the tallest of them couldn't help but laugh his ass off. 'Listen here chick, go away before we have to get rough' he said stepping forward. Everything told her to step back and submit and get the hell out of there.. yet she felt like she couldn't. Mia had started this fight, so it was only natural to stay in it till the end right? Mia stayed in place and puffed up more. "I am not ... a feathered creature... and I will not! You are not doing something lawful, so it's normal for someone to step in and say you are doing something wrong!" she said at the man. He however, was obviously not amused and before she could say anything else he had moved the distance between grabbing onto her arm. 'Maybe you don't hear so well." he said flatly. "Get off me!" Mia growled clawing at his hand but doing little to no damage. Maybe the boys had been right and it was too soon for her to go out on her own. BILLY POND

She'd been to New York before alright, she'd been to a lot of places on the extensive vacations her family took whenever they felt like it, that was a perk of being a rich kid. There was a way different feel to the place being there without her parents in tow though. It was kind of funny actually, her parents always wanted to scope out the high priced shops and the fancy restaurants and here Billy was bouncing down the New York street looking at anything but. She'd roamed around the street vendors, ducked into the little shops her parents would have scoffed at (and acquired a few shinies while she was at it) she'd chatted up people her parents would have freaked at her for saying hi too, in a way the girl felt like it was the first time she really truly enjoyed the city. She was doing all the things she never got to do with her parents hovering over her shoulder. She'd spent all day snacking on things though, she needed a real meal and while she'd enjoyed all the smaller places she'd never eaten at before it was time for something she knew was good. The young lady walked down the street with a fair amount of pep in step, there was no denying she was in a damn good mood. The kind just about nothing would be able to bring her down from, except maybe a little scuffle she caught out of the corner of her eye, a fellow lady about to get roughed up by what was most definitely the kind of trouble makers even she didn't run with. Well no self respecting Billy Pond was about to just walk on by and let that happen without doing something. She wasn't exactly the mightiest of people to be coming to the girl's rescue but Billy knew one sure fire way to take care of an asshole of the male variety. Without any hesitation she ran up behind the guy and kicked him in the balls.
"Asshole." Billy tossed out as she grabbed Mia's wrist to pull her away from the scene. "Time to book it!" Billy fled the scene, hopefully with Mia keeping up behind her. amelia travis MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Mia had all but gotten herself in her own kind of trouble. The girl should have known better and she knew that the boys wouldn't be really happy with her knowing that she had gotten in trouble. They would probably be really worried, and Mia wouldn't be able to look them in the eyes, and let alone allowed to go out on her own anymore. She had begged for ages to get this one chance and now she had ruined it by trying to hard to be a good person when she knew she couldn't do it on her own. Yet suddenly someone else was there as the man let out an unexpected yelp as his privates were suddenly kicked from behind. Mia was in shock for a moment before a grip came upon her wrist and was dragging her away from the boys who had started something against her. Of course, the little dragon could have handled herself against mere humans, but she didn't like hurting people. So as the girl pulled her she easily kept up with the girl who had come to save her. Mia was still at a bit of a loss as to what was going on, but she noticed the group not far behind on their tails throwing people aside to come after them. "They are still behind us miss!" she said to the other who was pulling her. Mia's orange hues looked around quickly noticing a alleyway just up ahead. That would be perfect! "M-Miss down that alleyway please! I have an idea.." she said quickly starting to take the lead instead hoping the other would keep a hold on her wrist as she pulled them down a dark and dead end alley way. Of course, to poor Billy, it would look like they were totally trapped but to Mia it was a perfect spot to call her wind to her as the wind suddenly picked up around them like a small tornado and lifted both Mia and the woman beside her off the ground and to the buildings above and out of sight of anyone who could have seen them. Going only a few blocks away, Mia once again returned them safely to the ground as the wind slowly faded from around them the dragon smiling happily. "Thank you so much for helping me!" she said with a kind smile, unknowing of the mistake she had just done in front of the human who had no idea of the supernatural world around them. "My name is Amelia, but you can call me Mia~" she said content now that they were out of harms way she could meet her newest friend. BILLY POND

Of course they were following them, those kinds of shitheads never did let shit like that slide. Then again what sort of guy wouldn't get a little unhappy about the situation? Billy knew what shots hurt both the body and their pride. That was alright though, the girl she'd saved was keeping up with her and so long as they could both run like hell they'd make it out just fine. Hell, chase scenes were always a blast anyway! The girl took Billy by surprise though, suddenly taking the lead and turning them down a completely different direction from the way that billy had been headed. "Woah hold up lady, that way's no good-" she didn't have time to finish, they were already in the ally and the assholes were on their way in. Billy was busy looking around for something to use to get them out of the situation. While she was distracted though the breeze sure seemed to pick up... Oh right, that wasn't a breeze at all. Before Billy really had a chance to process what was going on now the girls had already managed to become air born from the small tornado the other had kicked up. "WOAH WOAH WAIT A MOMENT!" she yelled, then again this wasn't exactly an every day occurrence to the very human Pond girl. As far as she knew people didn't just up and fly around. That wasn't a thing that happened. The look on her face was most definitely one of surprise, confusion and 'wtf is going on here' as she flailed about trying to find some footing for her feet. "What the fuck did that guy lace my hotdog bun with!?!" she asked the cosmos as the two of them touched ground again. A valid question had it been drugs that caused this little situation but that was most certainly not the case. Billy turned to the other girl wondering if perhaps she was hallucinating and standing in an alleyway yelling at herself. Lordy that would have been a trip, one she was kinda glad no one else was around to witness. Billy just stood there for a moment staring at the little orange haired girl that had just flown the two of them a few city blocks down the street and despite the whole scenario? Well the girl actually happened to recover pretty quickly. "Call me Billy" amelia travisMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Mia didn't understand the fear and the confusion of the other as she lifted them both into the air and took them from the place they were trapped. Thankfully, no one didn't see the mini tornado other than billy who was trapped with the little dragon who didn't understand the bad thing she had just done. The girl however was confused about the laced hot dogs but she didn't mention it until she had once again safely landed them down in another closed off area that they could relax as the others wouldn't be able to find them after that ... hopefully. "Its nice to meet you Billy~" Mia called to the other with a happy voice and a bright smile. Then suddenly jumping forward in a attempt to wrap her arms around the other girl. "Thank you so much for helping me again, if it wasn't for you.. I would have gotten in a lot of trouble." she said pouting some. "This is my first time out by myself and it took a lot of begging to get this chance.. so I'm really happy nothing went bad because of you." she said with a bright smile as she really was extremely grateful to the other for her help. "Now... what are... laced hotdogs?" she asked with a confused look to her face now. She had heard of hot dogs, the boys had talked about them.. but what were laced hotdogs? Mia was genuinely curious about them, since maybe she could get some for the boys next time she was out. Then again... she didn't know how to cook hot dogs at all, so how did you make laced hot dogs? Were those harder to make than normal hotdogs? Maybe her new friend could teach her how to make them so she could surprise reggy and cobalt! That would make her really happy. BILLY POND

To be quite honest Billy was still a little bit dazed. The again this whole scenario was turning into a scene from a superhero comic where some poor hapless civilian that didn't know anything stumbled upon the world's secrets. This could go one of two ways after that too, she was either going to end up in serious trouble because she knew too much or she was going to get roped into things and become some civilian helper for the good guys. Or maybe she was getting a bit ahead of herself seeing as, whether she realized it or not, this was not that sort f situation and neither of those things was likely to occur here. Billy threw her hands in the air out of surprised when the girl moved to hug her. Not that she had any problems with that, just this whole situation really was a little weird and she might have been a bit on edge. "Yeah 'bout that chickadee. The fuck was that even? And I don't mean the mean the guys what the hell was that... that... that flying thing?!?" while Billy returned the girl's hug she looked back over hr shoulder at the way they'd came. It sunk in, slowly, just how far they'd just flown. She still felt like this ought to be something out of a comic book or a movie. Not something that happened in her waking life. "The hell do you mean first time out? What? They lock your ass up or something?" now she raised a quizzical eyebrow because absolutely nothing about that sounded like a normal situation. not one bit. Now Billy was wondering if she'd have to try and call the cops, hope to god this chick was not some kind of hallucination and would be a real thing when they got here and not end up having to try and explain off how fucking high she apparently was. Shit this was not how she had expected today to go. "Laced, as in drug laced. Like LCD or some shit just... fuck... what the hell just happened?" honestly the hotdogs seemed like the least of her worries right now. amelia travisMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Mia really didn't understand exactly what she had done to make the other as confused as she was. It wasn't like Mia understood that Billy had never really seen anything like what she was, even if Mia didn't mean to frighten her. The girl was almost as confused as Billy was but for a completely different reason. Didn't she knew what she was? It was obvious that she could fly, but maybe billy just didn't like heights maybe that was the reason and suddenly the thought sunk in and the girl pouted some and kicked the dirt some with her foot. Her hands moving behind her back like a child being reprimanded by an adult. " You must not like heights, I'm sorry." she replied quietly. "I promise I'll ask next time." she finished her sentence slowly peaking back up to make sure the girl wasn't mad at her. Even though Reggy and Cobalt had been kind to her, some part of her was always afraid that she was going to be yelled at for doing something wrong. "NO!" she quickly yelled when the girl asked if she was locked up. She didn't want her to think that! "No, It's not like that. I used to be, you know.. locked up.. but Reggy and Cobalt.. they, they aren't like that at all!" she replied worried about not defending them correctly. "They are just worried about me, since I don't know too much." she said trying to figure out exactly what to say. " ... LCD?" she asked curious once again what the woman was talking about. Mia blinked when she asked what happened, and she pondered for a moment before explaining once again. "Well, I was in trouble. Then you showed up and helped me out, and then I got us both out of there and ... then we came here to make sure they couldn't find us." she finished with a smile on her face again and a small laugh to make sure that the girl knew that she really was happy.
