security is a superstition ► life is either daring or nothing ◄ |
The sound of Ian's white cane tapping in front of him echoed down the more or less empty halls. At least he assumed they were empty. Either that or the few people in the halls that were still there were avoiding a possible awkward conversing with a blind kid. If that were the case he didn't take it personally anymore. Most people didn't know what to say or do around him. He was used to folk being uncomfortable with his disability. As if they felt bad for him but didn't know how to state so or not without hurting his feelings. So avoidance was their preferred method. Better safe than sorry was the mindset. Regardless he would continue down the hall until he tap his cane against a door. Seventeenth door. This should be it ....? Right? He had been trying to figure out his class schedule before the year actually kicked off so he wasn't the pathetic blind kid that was running late everywhere. Tapping the cane warily he reached out to find the doorknob, entering partially in a shy manner. "Um, hello?" Hoping there was perhaps a teacher or a teacher's assistant inside that could answer his inquiry, he would wait for some kind of response. At least, hopefully there was a response. If there was such a response Ian would blink his ice blue eyes with a sheepishly polite smile. "Hi. Um, I was wondering if you could tell me if this was World History 103 with Kazimir Pertoff for fifth period." Unknowingly getting his future professor's name incorrect he would wait patiently. One hand fiddling with his cane, the other gripping the voice recorder in his other hand (the device he had asked the secretary to speak into while reading his first semester schedule in seeing the piece of paper wasn't exactly much help in his case). OOC: Asher Doyle or Kazimir Petrov I'm game for either of your children, ice ~ He could have stumbled upon the art room on accident to find asher, etc up to you heh heh BOINK OF GS |
