So this was Hisso.
The little girl had been in this country for a little over nine days now. New York was just as any other major city was as far as Elsie was concerned but this academy. This school. This was why she was here. And forgive me if I say it was nice to finally stand upon its property.
Deciding to only walk its further outskirts, noticing a far less population of security cameras out this way, the child vampire toured it herself with her hands laced behind her back. It was kept up well. Landscaping was pleasant. Shrubs actually kept up into charming trimmed shapes. Now walking up to the basketball court she continued in such a manner. Taking note of the fewer cameras around and making sure to avoid their lines of sight, she took her first steps on the court itself.
Her Mary Janes seemed a bit out of place in such a location. But then again so did a lone child of seemingly nine years old. With every step making a soft echo in the seemingly empty lot Elsie spun in a slow observing three-sixty. A school where superior beings learned to hide from humans more efficiently. How disgusting. It would be while her mind wandered through such topics that superior ears would catch the sound of another walking as well. Looking out of the corners of her eyes before averting her gaze again she'd cutesy-fy her actions a bit more. Add an extra bounce in her step. Add that adorable smile. There was nothing to be nervous of, on comer. Nothing. I assure you. Don't you believe me?

don't think you can just come, break me up like you do so well
There had been several times that the aristocrat believed he didn't deserve to walk among humans, deserve to even be alive to be honest. He had killed many humans, and it had all been his fault as he had lured them out to the pureblood that had turned him. Being controlled was horrible thing that he swore he would never, ever let anyone use him like that again.. he had seen enough bloodshed to last him his eternity. So he generally found himself alone most of the time, too afraid to care about anyone less he lose them because of what he was. There was a darkness in his heart still that he knew he could never truly forget but it was nice to think that he could hide away and pretend that it had never happened. Yet there was this hunter kid... that wouldn't leave him alone.. and he had tried pretty much everything to get rid of him. Weren't hunters supposed to hate his kind after all? Then again, it had been thanks to hunters initially that he had been free from his pureblood. So as the student headed towards the outside feels, he could almost smell the presence of another vampire instantly. The student pushed up his glasses some as he noticed a small girl that he was now alone with. It was saddening to see young children that had been turned, though he hadn't been much different himself. The aristocrat stood his ground trying to not to seem overly concerned about the other. "I haven't seen you before, and I generally have records of everyone at this school. Does that mean your thinking of joining this school?" he asked quietly. Elsie HorowitzLAIKA OF GS!

The little girl paused in her walk to turn around to face the young man, her blonde bobbed hair flowing from the speed. Elsie smiled with a well performed kindness, "Hello to you too." She would turn and continue to where the basketballs were lined up from the earlier basketball practice, grabbing one and instead of dribbling it in the basketball sense, she dribbled it in the soccer sense. While speaking she would move the ball up and down the court, kicking it lightly a short distance with every step to continue the pattern.
"Nnnnnope. You're right. I don't go to school here." Files you say? On everyone at the academy? Could she really trust that such "files" were worth her time? I mean, he was a but a teenaged student. Hm, but then again, if there was anyone who knew appearances could be deceiving it was Elsie. The child vampire's smile widened but a bit more at hearing this "files" bit though not with the malicious intent she considered within her mind. "Mmmm, maybe."
Elsie would turn her head to smile at the teenager, batting those large scarlet doe eyes of hers. "I'm guessing you do? Do you like it here?"

When the girl spoke again it was a hello back to him, since he had started asking questions without saying hello. A small scoff came from the aristocrat but he didn't say anything else letting her finish what she was saying before he interrupted her. It didn't take long for the girl to answer the questions that he had asked of her, and his information hadn't been wrong. There was something funny about this girl though that he couldn't put his finger on, something that was bothering him but he wouldn't show that it was less he give the other a leeway over him. A small frown crossed his face, but it wasn't an unreasonable question from the other as his eyes watched as she used the basketball for soccer practice it seemed. " I do attend this academy, you are correct." he responded pushing his glasses back up his face almost out of habit now as he paused for a moment to finish answering the questions that she had asked of him. "I haven't been here very long myself, but it's suitable seeing as what it's aiming to do is nearly impossible." he said absently. Even if the academy had good intentions, there was very little hope that the human society would just open up to them, if they knew the truth that is. " Was there something keeping you from deciding ?" he asked before he could think of a different question. There was just so much knowledge in the world and he wanted to know as much as possible. It was what kept him sane in the unforgiving world that they lived in, there was just too much at stake after all, and he would never know so little again. "Or is that something you don't know yourself?"Elsie HorowitzLAIKA OF GS!
