all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Takuya's plans for the day had not been very eventful. He had wanted to laze around in bed most of the morning, and refuse to go to school. However it only worked to a certain point then the black haired wolf boy got bored. He tugged his tired body out of bed and into his outside clothes. If Takuya didn't wear his uniform he'd stick out but who cared. School was likely almost over, keeping track of time had never been his strong point. It was why the werewolf would be late for class so many times even if he'd just been walking from one class to the next. He just had no care about time limits or meeting deadlines. The miracle that he wasn't failing was immense. The dorms at this moment would be rather empty without the other students. Few remaining students were slackers or like him too lazy to get out of bed. On the rare occasion maybe they were sick. Though Takuya didn't smell sickness lingering around. Usually he was rather good at smelling things like that because of the whole wolf being related to the dog species. Or wasn't it wolves were the ancestors to dogs however that worked. He shrugged with a small yawn walking towards the stairs when he thought something reached his nose. A smell of a person he didn't know which couldn't be shocking. He did not know a lot of people in this school no matter how many he had talked to. Which from the last time Takuya counted there was a huge number. Even as a supernatural the werewolf did not fear human interaction, what he feared was being forgotten or hated. Peeking around the corner to look down the stairs the werewolf sniffed the air. It was a new scent on the air truly and it was coming up the stairs. This scent was strange. He knew this school had mixed species but this scent was almost mixed like the species when they were all in one room. "Hi!" He called out the fallen angel that he'd never met before. But Takuya was always such a positive person. He did his best to make everyone happy no matter what. So of course he was not going to show if he was upset. Right now he only felt a little lonely, so meeting a new person would be great. Takuya debated tackling him but he didn't this time. He just waved like a hyper child. Hopefully his new friend would not be too scared of his overly positive character. emmanuel

Emmanuel sighed tiredly and rubbed his shoulders, his body clearly exhausted from his basketball game. They had won, naturally, in no small part down to his contributions via three-pointers and alley-oops. The fallen angel smiled a little to himself, pleased both with the victory and the efforts of his teammates; basketball seemed to suit him given his height and build so he had trained alone until finally getting on the bench in his second year. The coach had given Emmanuel a chance to prove himself in the second half of a game his team was losing against a powerful opponent, a perfect opportunity. Emmanuel helped the team catch up and even win, although the victory was incredibly close. His green eyes glanced around, noticing no one nearby with some relief. He felt too tired to talk to anyone at the moment, enjoying the solace, enjoying the quiet, enjoying the silence. Emmanuel's mind drifted off to the fallen angel he encountered at the cafe a few days ago and focused on her, memories of Heaven and a trial flashing internally while he once again wondered what the connection was or had been between himself and Eva. "Eva," Emmanuel said aloud, enjoying the sound of her name on his voice. It was the voice of a beautiful and kind fallen angel, one who..............
The fallen angel looked up to see a black haired student, a male werewolf from Emmanuel's assessment, who waved at him like a child. Oh, joy. I play an early game and now I have to deal with this? That's just perfect, Emmanuel thought with a tinge (maybe more than a tinge) of annoyance. Emmanuel simply inclined his head, still too tired to acknowledge this person verbally. The shooting guard laid his back against the dorm wall and closed his eyes for a minute, hoping this werewolf could remain silent while Emmanuel dove into his energy reserves. His green eyes opened with a new light, his exhaustion pushed back temporarily. "Hello," Emmanuel replied finally, his tone pleasant as usual. His eyes flicked to the werewolf, then away again, his mind still preferring to dwell on Eva. She was the beautiful and kind fallen angel, the one who.....interested him. Was it attraction, infatuation? Maybe. Only time will tell, Emmanuel thought with a light smile. A small part of him silently hoped that was the case, because there was already history between them and he wanted to discover that shared past, at the very least. Anything more would make his life very interesting.....

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Takuya didn't really think about other people the schedules they might have had. Honestly he was only glad to see another person that hadn't run away from him. Being way too positive was a burden sometimes. At least he'd be told it was however he'd never talk about that. The werewolf waved again to his new friend and tried not to bounce over to him. That'd likely only make it really awkward if Takuya acted anymore like a child then he already had. Not that he knew any better. His parents had never tried to change him or it just failed. "Jeez you look exhausted, one of the sports players huh? Did you win?" He was curious and just holding a conversation maybe. Though Takuya couldn't help but wonder if he should turn and walk away. Leave this person alone was not in his mind right now. He didn't exactly understand that whole personal bubble thing people talked about. If they didn't want to be close and cuddly why were they friends? It just didn't make sense to Takuya when people did that. He had to wonder who Eva was? Was it someone this guy was in love with or something. Takuya wanted to ask, part of him thought about it. Maybe if he asked everything would be fine. And he wouldn't have to worry about getting into trouble or getting yelled at. Though it'd likely go right over his head that happened a lot. He did not understand how some people could be. But of course he was still trying the only way he knew how to. Takuya still found it hard not to ask about that person he talked about. But it wasn't his business either so one of those moments he shouldn't let curiosity win. emmanuel

One green eye opened to take in the young werewolf as he moved closer, Emmanuel taking his time to regain as much energy as he could in order to deal with this exuberant newcomer. Normally, the fallen angel didn't really mind energetic people, but in his exhausted state, he would have preferred someone more level-headed or even better, no one at all. Emmanuel just wanted to wander back to his room and sleep for a couple hours so he could perhaps have some energy to meet his new roommate. The fallen angel glanced over to the werewolf, listening to his question, and replied, "Basketball. We won, but it wasn't easy," purposefully answering the query with as few words as possible. Emmanuel felt too tired to make replies that were more than barely adequate at the moment, so this hyper werewolf would have to accept it. Emmanuel absentmindedly wondered who this werewolf was, yet he did not take the opportunity to ask yet. The fallen angel moved a little further away, preferring to keep a comfortable distance between himself and excitable wolf-boy.
Once again, Emmanuel did not really mind others keeping close to him, but he liked his personal space and that went double in his current state, not wanting to invite the werewolf to tackle him and lick his face. More memories flashed in his mind and Emmanuel watched himself speaking to someone, Eva, in heaven before lightly touching her wings and making some comment he couldn't seem to recall. The green eyed angel shook his head and looked thoughtful, still unsure what kind of relationship he and Eva had maintained before meeting each other once more in the human world. Emmanuel looked up to the werewolf and asked, "Who are you, anyway? I'm Emmanuel," he introduced himself tiredly, casually interested in the identity of the person he was engaging in conversation. His memories continued to distract him from the conversation, one piece of the puzzle fitting in place at a time. Emmanuel knew he and Eva were linked somehow and perhaps speaking to her about it would enlighten both of them. The mystery surrounding her interested him, the clearing fog of his post slowly opening to reveal the truth concerning them. It was a truth that would bring Emmanuel and Eva even closer together, although both of them remained ignorant of this fact.....

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Takuya didn't think he was doing anything that bad. All he wanted was to make friends with people. For Takuya that was all he ever wanted even if some people just didn't understand him. For now he'd have to figure it out later, he had other thoughts going through his head right now. Like just what he was supposed to say to this guy. He wanted him to not run away but for a moment he almost thought he seemed scared or upset about Takuya talking to him. This guy barely wanted to talk it seemed, he was probably really tired. After all the sport related stuff he'd done. Takuya felt bad but he didn't always know when to quit either. "At least you won! that's great!" Takuya's energy was likely a bit infectious but this was life. And he wasn't going to complain too much. He liked being the way he was. If anyone didn't like it then oh well not really his problem and he'd not give a fuck later on either if he could manage to avoid it. He wanted him to talk more but this guy seemed so exhausted. Maybe he should have said something else or changed this somehow, but of course it'd probably not work out very well either. Takuya almost whimpered when he saw the man back away but he'd let him do that if he really wanted too. "I'm Takuya!" He was not going to be quiet or let his energy fade away. What good would that do? He wanted to just have some fun, this person had the wrong timing if they didn't like this happening. Just what did this guy have going on. Takuya couldn't tell but it seemed confusing to begin with. emmanuel
