THERE IS A THIN LINE between what is good and what is evil I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable The night was just like any other, he breathed in the humid air and pretended he was in a place much colder. While he did not outwardly express his discomfort, he thought bad things about mother nature on the inside. He felt detached like usual, keeping time to his heart like it was a clock ticking. He had set this entire night up perfectly and lured his prey here in just the correct amount of time before he had to head back inside to escape the sun. The sun, he wanted to just get over it yet he knew that would take a miracle to escape it's effects entirely. Silently he stalked his prey. This time it was a man in his late forties who had unfortunately (for the man) gotten on the bad side of a loan shark. Humans and their vices. Then again, Benedict wasn't any better with his own. He once lead a life full of vices. Sex, money, gambling. He did it all and wanted more at the end of each day. He didn't care. Life was just a game to the man. Keeping silent still, he heard heavy breathing behind the dumpster. Are you kidding me? The dumpster? Dear lord this human is dense. Benedict mentally sighed at the stupidity of some mortals. He held a hand gun within his leather gloved hand. He normally didn't use guns, but tonight was needed since he had to do some extra planning to get this human to do exactly as he wanted. He screwed on the silencer quietly, his amber eye flicking first towards the gun and then towards the dumpster. This was all too easy for him. He felt his fangs ache with how hungry he was. Perhaps a bite won't hurt. They wanted him dead after all. The man owed too much money as it was, so they decided to cut their losses and just deal with the loss to their fiances. He had told them his usual price for such a job and they didn't even bat an eye at it and handed him the check. Money first, then he'll kill them. That was his deal. His cold, heartless eyes narrowed as the man ran again. They were behind the Paradise Lost nightclub, a place he often went himself to cool off from the time spent with so many humans. Despite how he felt about them, he really didn't mind being around them so long as they kept him fed and kept out of his way. He felt emotions in a certain way. That is to say...he doesn't. No emotion registers to him and he mostly just has to guess what he has to feel and express to others. However, over the past 177 years of his existence, he has gotten quite good at reading others and knowing just what to express. However, sometimes he just doesn't want to deal with it and just keeps his poker face on. He deals with humans on a regular basis; sometimes he needs a break and just get a bite to eat, you know? Silently he stalked forward with his gun in front of him, his predator-like amber eye focusing on the area in front of him. Despite his non-working right eye, he was still a pretty good shot. Benedict didn't jump as the man made a break for it. He felt the man's heartbeat in his ears as he could hear his pulse, his blood rushing. It was all going according to plan. The man ran at the perfect time, allowing Benedict to set it all up to look like an accident. Benedict rushed forward using his superior speed and pinned the man to the wall, having then turned him around exposing his neck to him. "Don't make too much fuss, i'm making this quick..." His cold, emotionless voice only tinged with some expression by his British accent. "W-Why are you doing this? I don't even know who you are!" The man stammered out to then scream. Benedict sighed. Surely this man could keep quiet so as to not attract unwanted attention, right? Keeping his eye on the man, Benedict responded simply. "Nothing personal, mate, just business." With that, Benedict sank his fangs into the man's neck to drink that glorious red river that was beneath all beings skin. He felt better having sated some of his thirst for now. Licking his red lips, Benedict then held the gun to the man's head. Without saying much more, Benedict started to pull the trigger slowly...Alice Nocturne### This template finally worked. { } Crystal blue eyes flickered with amusement as they watched an interesting scene down below. Criminals these days were almost too predictable. If it wasn’t behind the Casino, then it was always behind the Night club. Sinful beings naturally gravitated to sinful places. So, it was always wise for the heroine to check those places first when making the rounds. All she had to do was take on the appearance of a regular street cat, and watch with a perceptive mind. Not to mention a little ‘bird’ had dropped a hint about a certain company hiring a hit-man. Tch, humans were always sloppy with covering their tracks. Anyway, Alice gazed below from her rooftop perch as she noticed a mysterious man carefully stalk a less mysterious and less impressive gentleman. Actually, he was hiding behind a dumpster, which wasn’t one of the top hiding places she would have chosen, but hey-- Whatever floats his boat. Perhaps he wanted to be found cowering like a wet dog in the gutter, or perhaps he was just a dumbass. Either way, the dark figure had found him, and began following him a little ways down. That is, until the Trash King noticed he was cornered between brick walls. More than once did Ace question the worth of the people she saved; some of them just didn’t seem to be worth the time. They were either too stupid to stay out of trouble or were slightly evil themselves. But, hero’s don’t get to choose who they want to save. They do it because it’s what their moral compass tells them to do, even if said compass was a little fucked up. She was a tool of Justice, only acting at its command...and tonight it demanded punishment to the one who hunts its own kind for money. The black feline decided to follow along as she bounded from tile to tile until the predator finally caught his prey. Normally, the mercs spat out threats to show how impressive their testosterone levels were, yet that is not what happened. This man was…feeding on the other!? A painful shock hit the Neko as she felt her blood boil in her veins. Vampire. He was the very thing she hated most, and she couldn’t help but wonder if he was the one she was looking for. What divine providence that they would bump into each other tonight? Alice lightly sprang from the roof as shadows slithered up from the cold asphalt to greet her. The dark matter swirled around her, consuming her whole until she re-emerged as a young girl. Then, her next instinct was to grab both of her handguns to point at the two men before her. There was no escape, she had cleverly blocked the only exit the ally had offered. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” She spoke in a velvety tone with a small grin spreading across her lips. Her dark eyes looked over two coal-colored steel hounds impatiently waiting for her to make them bark. “You pull that trigger, and I pull mine. So how about you turn around to show me that pretty face of yours….nice and slow.” Alice took a bold step forward in an attempt to get a better look at his face. Scar. She needed to see that scar! It almost drove her mad how bad she wanted this guy to be him so she could get her well-deserved revenge. Her breath held in her chest, while a steady aching curiosity nipped at her heart. Please let it be him. Wait, there was the hostage. “Oh, and let that poor bastard go. He doesn’t belong to you.” Ace stated simply with a calm expression. For some reason the girl had a feeling that this guy wasn’t likely to cooperate seeing as her usual thugs didn’t. So as a just in case she held her shadows close, slithering around her feet like a horde of serpents. MADE BY VEL OF GS

THERE IS A THIN LINE between what is good and what is evil I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable He could feel the blood from the human flow into his body and nourish his own with it's power. Blood was everything to a vampire. Life. Death. It all depended upon the blood that was given to said vampire. While sometimes Benny had to make due with what he was given and drink animal blood, he much preferred to drink human and directly from the source. No packaged variety for him if he could help it. He could feel the human shake with what he could only guess was fear. Fear. It was something he hadn't felt in ages. He felt it once. Just once, long ago when he faced his first hunted prey. It was a large werewolf male who he was sent after with his father to subdue and kill. There wasn't any reason back then for the act, but then again, his family never needed any reason to do what they did best. Benny's eye stopped to stare at the brick wall as he heard movement behind him. His gaze was sharp and pinpointed as he read the movements behind him like he did with any other prey of his. How do I get interrupted at every meal? It's bad manners. Benny thought with a mental sigh and emotionless waves rolling over him. He felt nothing. Emotionally, that is. He wanted more and he'll be damned if he's going to let some little person take away his meal.
Slowly Benny's gun raised into the air so the person could see it, but at the last second he plunged his fangs into the man's neck again to grab another quick bite before having to turn over the waste of life to the sap behind him. Pleasure over feeding came over him, making him press the man up against the wall again more roughly. From a bystanders point of view it looked rather promiscuous. The man he was feeding from by this point had long since passed out and was on the verge of dying. At the last second, Benny let go and stepped back to let the man fall to the ground in an unconscious heap. Without turning around, Benny looked up at the night sky barely visible from the alleyway. "I didn't pull my trigger, love, so put your gun down before you hurt yourself." His tone was cold. It was as if someone had dropped Antarctica within Benny's voice box. Benny wiped at his mouth once to get the extra blood off of it, only to lick his hand once to clean it as well. He was curious as to why he needed to show her his face. Then again, in his line of work, there was never such thing as an odd question to him. He let the man go just as she said, his work could technically be done since the man was on the verge of dying anyway. There goes his perfect record for perfectly executed assassinations. Well, tomorrow is another day.
Slowly he turned around to face her, not bothering to keep his hands raised. He knew he could dodge whatever came his way with his speed. His amber eye looked her over without remorse. He had to think that she was not bad on the eyes and even with her pointing a gun at him didn't alter his feelings, or lack-thereof. He tilted his head at her, his amber eye now focusing back on her face to try and read her like he did all of his other prey and targets. Read the target first and then go from there. He did not understand emotions the way a normal person should. He felt nothing, so he understood practically nothing. However, over his years he learned what emotion meant what in a way and what he should do to counter it depending upon the situation. It was all just a game to him. "I let him go, but I'm afraid he's going to die." Benny glanced at the man's pale face with no remorse. He looked then back at the newcomer with a blank expression. "He was delicious, however." Benny's amber eye bore into her eyes like a chess master assessing his opponent. "Now, this isn't fair. I put down my gun and so you should put down yours. Isn't that what manners are all about? The youth these days...they have no respect for their elders." What was meant to be a funny statement was turned cold by the man's tone-less British accent. "You might take someone's eye out, and I've only got one left, mind you."

{ } ‘Good, he was going to listen.’ She thought, watching the man’s gun slowly lift into the air. It was rare that anyone ever listened to- oh for fucks sake! Just when she thought this was going to be an easy night, the vampire took another bite out of his prey. Alice narrowed her eyes as her fingers simultaneously pulled the trigger to both guns. Two loud bang’s echoed through the alley, and the weapons smoked contently in her grasp. On both sides, just an inch from the two, were bullet holes carved into the brick wall. This was just a simple warning, but next time she was going to popping kneecaps like balloons. “You try something like that again and you’ll be finding two new holes in your head, Leech.” Her voice held a serious tone with a tinge of irritation. Why did people always want to push her buttons? All he had to do was hand over the guy, who was already in a shitty state, and she’d let him be free with minor damage. I mean, it was attempted murder—she was going to have to punish him. Some say the correct thing to do was hand enemies over to the police. But, when you look at their track record, all their inmates got treated wonderfully, and recently two dangerous murderous escaped through a sewage pipe. It’s safe to say that they have no idea what they are doing. Eventually he did let go of his victim who might as well have been dead already. Blood loss wasn’t something to heal easily from, and if she wanted to save him she was going to have to play this smart. Her dark gaze dropped momentarily to her shadows, willing them to move towards the unconscious man. “Cute. I was born at night, but it wasn’t last night. My guns are staying right where they are.” Alice replied to the man, watching her shadows drag the body past her. The plan was to at least move him to the front of the club just around the corner. People walked in and out of those doors all night, which meant someone was bound to see him and call for help. She’d do it herself if the vampire wasn’t right there. The last thing she needed was to become dessert. For a moment she her patience was growing thin. She was dying to see his face, to see if her search for her master’s murderer was over. It wasn’t, sadly. As soon as he turned around she sighed in disappointment. Not the guy. He had multiple scars across his face, and this one did not. He was just another bat-shit crazy Vampire. Heh, you get it? Bat-shit…vampire? Eh, it’s not so amusing when you have to explain it. Anyway, he was not the guy. Just some punk….who wasn’t bad looking if he, y’know, wasn’t a murderer that creepily licked blood off his hands. After he had turned around, she felt the usual feeling she got from her caught criminals. Watching, analyzing, judging; what could they learn about her movements to give them the upper hand? Nothing, for as soon as she noticed this she kept close watch on her own body language to prevent giving him any clues. Although, she could detect a couple signs from him. Excessive talking usually meant they were buying time so they could formulate a plan out. Eh, it wouldn’t hurt to play along. “Too bad, manners stop existing when you turned that man into a human Slurpee, and if I take your eye out it sure as hell won’t be an accident. “ A smirk crossed her lips as she took another step forward. “What’s your name? Patchy the Pirate, Cyclops, One-eyed joe? I need something to add to my list.”

THERE IS A THIN LINE between what is good and what is evil I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable He really didn't have time for this tonight. He had already let the human go without doing his job fully so he would only get half of the payment. Surely the fear of two vampires bites and the nightmare of seeing him stalk him within the shadows will keep him out of society enough so the clients would be fooled into thinking he did. He sighed loudly, the only indication whatsoever that he was irritated. He felt irritated, but only in some minuscule amount. In truth, he couldn't feel exactly what it was that most felt when confronted with someone like this. She seemed to think she was a super hero? What a fool, heroes do not exist. His expression remained impassive as he turned around to face her. The man was being carried away by the shadows. Interesting, so she was not just a regular human then. He smelled the air subtly, gaining a scent he had never came across before. It wasn't a werewolf, it wasn't an angel, and it wasn't a kitsune. Those he could tell right off the bat, but this one was different, almost feline. "I am of the human shaped variety, love, not the creature who looks like hell's earthworms." Benny's tone was dry as he turned to face her fully, his eye holding his cold-hearted intentions within it so very deeply.
He looked to the side for a moment. Obviously she wasn't an idiot like the last ones he came into contact with in the last few years he had been in New York. There were quite a few people who thought they were heroes and tried to stop him and save the scum who really didn't deserve to kiss the ground they walked on. One man, as he recalled, had tried to hit him with a baseball bat. Benny easily avoided it, but needless to say, the man never came back from his 'heroic' act. Benny didn't fancy himself a villain, just someone who did their job and went home at the end of the night. However, the ones he hunted or even the ones that caught him in the act labeled him a bad man. Perhaps if I just said I was a misunderstood man with a dark past they'd figure it was okay. Works for those idiots in the movies or shows. Fun fact about Benny, ladies and gents, he actually does watch movies and tv shows, but only at certain times. he'd watch whatever was on not caring. Sometimes a chick flick comes on and he'd watch it with the straightest and most serious expression. Some call him heartless, but he's really---actually, no, he's heartless. He doesn't care about much anything in his life or really anyone else's. She didn't lower her guns, which made him raise an eyebrow at her.
He did, however, notice her disappointment. Benny wondered why she was so. Certainly he must not be the type of man she probably runs into on her times out, right? Benny usually took out anyone who was in his way be it by his dinner or even one of his targets. The streets of New York were always crawling with people who wouldn't be missed. From some viewpoints, his habit of taking those that won't be missed might sound noble, but it was really just his tactics to cover up his tracks. His amber eyes looked at her with disinterest still as he listened to her insult his appearance. While he didn't care, he figured some part of him should, but he really didn't want to have to deal with that right now. He acted as if her statement amused him, smirking darkly at her before his face went back to the expressionless one he normally had. She stepped forward. Was she trying to scare him? He's had worse situations. A dark thought crossed his head. He was going to mess with her and test her morals. Surely all heroes had the same sets, right? Doing what he wanted to do, Benny stepped forward with his long legs till he pressed himself against the barrels of her guns, leaning down to look at her with a cruel smile; the one he uses to break the hearts and minds of those around him.
"Is that so? All that fire and all you are going to take out is my eye?" His voice was a dark purr, still cold through his words. He looked down at her, his amber eye flashed with faked amusement. Was that the correct emotion at this time? Benny wasn't sure, but he went with it. Benny decided to be the one to take the next step, so-to-speak, and stepped forward. He hoped to push her back away from the wall so that he had some room to move. If successful, Benny would push his chest against her gun barrels still with the same cruel grin. "For now, you can call me Church. I don't think you really need to know more than that." His next words were sharp, bladed with a poisoned smile he practiced on the other 'heroes' who came to stop him. "All of you hero types are the same. All prepared to stand up for the lessers, but when it comes down to it, do you really think you can kill someone in cold blood?" He was just wanting to scare her off or at the very least throw her off her game. He was a manipulative bastard who used anyone and anything to get his desired outcome. "You don't know me, would you really kill a stranger based off of a few minutes of what transpired? That's a bit narrowed-minded little girl." His voice was still a dark cold purr, his amber eye looking menacing.

{ } He may not have been the man she was looking for, but he was definitely evil. It was something about the way he spoke, and the look in his eye. There was a coldness there that left her with a strange chill, but it was nothing she wasn’t used to. Ever since she began this crime fighting business she ran across men like him. They seemed to lack emotion other than ‘slight amusement’ or ‘aggravation’—then again, she wasn’t so different herself. When she dealt with criminals she usually kept herself as cold and locked as a coffin. The less they knew about her the better off she was. Alice didn’t really have any human weaknesses now, but if she did then the last thing she would want is to put them in harm’s way. Not that she had any intention of gaining any. So far she had been doing a good job of keeping her distance with everyone, everywhere. “You steal blood from other’s without permission. I dare say that leeches do the same.” She replied simply as she adjusted her grip on the trigger. “I don’t see why, though. I’m sure hundreds of girls would get in line for you to bite them…damn Twilight crap has poisoned their minds. Anything remotely attractive with fangs is now considered ‘exotic’. Why don't you go play with them?” Her blue eyes rolled as a few female students popped into her mind. Tracy and Stacy, the tramp twins, would have stalked this guy to the ends of the earth if they knew. Pathetic, really. People risking their lives to relieve a few moments of sexual frustration from a stranger. You start off thinking you’re going to get that D, and end up becoming dinner. Just when Alice was comfortably bashing her fellow schoolmates, the man did something to yank her back to reality. When she focused back on him, he moved to press his body against the end of her guns. Then there was that grin, that creepy ass grin that sent a slight shiver down her spine. At first she wanted to shrink away like a stray dog, but fuck that! She was a hero, not the cowardly little girl he assumed her to be. Alice boldly tilted her head up, meeting her dark blue gaze with his golden eye. He didn’t scare her, and she wasn’t going to bend to his forked tongue. “You made the suggestion.” She scoffed, resisting his push with a strong push of her own so they seemed to stay in once place. Only this time her face got dangerously close to his. Sadly, he was right…in a way. She couldn’t kill him until Justice demanded so. It worked sort of like the saying ‘eye for an eye,’ in a way. If he took a life that did not rightfully belong to him, then he was to pay with his own. The same went for her. Alice could not kill someone unless the ‘god of death’ willed it—the only god she knew to be true. He was not an evil guy, but when someone sent him a soul that was not ripened, or died before their proper time…he became angry; or so she had been told. Ace never met him personally, just knew the rules of engagement. If she sees a person kill someone, then she has the right to kill them for payment. If she was to kill without reason, then she would have to pay the price just the same. Even though this one-eyed devil attacked that man….she did not know if he had killed him yet. “Who said I was going to kill you? Jumping the gun aren’t we, Church?” Ace grinned back, finding that his words had no real effect on her. When things were laid out in black and white, there is no room for second guessing. “But you are correct. I cannot kill you until I know if that fellow down there survived or not.” A sigh came from her lips as she lifted up her guns, and stepped to the side for him to pass. Really she hated giving out warnings, but she supposed there wasn’t much she could do, yet. Keyword being ‘yet.’ So he would win this round….somewhat. “You get a warning this time, but remember this, Patchy.” A dark smirk replaced her grin, while her gaze narrowed almost playfully. Then her guns aimed right for his head once more. “If I catch you murdering anyone…I will find you” The neko took another step forward, glaring into his eye once more. “And when I do it won’t be in cold blood. It will be warm, and it will be yours. Got it?” Words aren’t so scary when you know how to use them. --------------------------------------------- NOTES: They will be such great friends! THERE IS A THIN LINE between what is good and what is evil I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable He was playing with fire and he knew he should not tempt fate if he wanted to live to see the next night. In all honesty, Benny had no disregard for his own life, only wanting to live in the 'now'. He care little for what the future gave him as well as what it could mean for him in the long run. He lived and existed according to his own rules and his own judge. There was nobody alive who could judge Benny and expect him to follow suit with whatever they handed down to him. He dropped his mask for a moment to expose his true self. The cold, emotionless, man behind the curtain felt nothing at all. He faked it all to get a rise out of her. He faked it all to make her scared. In some ways, it was working, but he didn't think he could get rid of her as easily as the last 'heroes'. He suppressed a sigh as his eyes raked themselves over her body, searching her head to foot mentally in his mind. She was playing a dangerous game confronting him like this. Guns drawn and everything. There were few who actually knew Benny, or rather, knew of him. For Benny does not have friends, he simply has people around him who tolerate Benny. He did not react towards her words about leaches, finding the whole thing to be inconsequential towards their interaction. He also had worse said about him in his life; the mere thought of a child thinking him to be a simple creature who just simply feeds on blood was not something that made him react in any way. Moving his hands down now, he kept facing her, keeping close to try to scare her. She mentioned Twilight, which made the vampire inwardly want to shoot her on sight simply for saying that book's name. It did not deserve to be printed. His mind automatically thought on the subject of books. Benny, to pass his time sometimes, would read in the dorms when the sun was still ways above them and did not go down for a while yet. He could not bring himself to finish Twilight after he had picked it up out of curiosity. "While I will admit that I do have a large group of women who would do practically anything to get into bed with me, I must say that I am better looking and act better than the male lead in that god-forsaken book it dares call itself a work of art." In the display of all of the lack of emotion he has, which is all it, he chastised the book as if were not being held up at gun-point by a woman who seemed to think herself as Wonder Woman or something to the effect being of. "I do not prefer my meal to be of the teenage variety, they are too willing. I prefer my women and men to fight a bit in the experience. The more they squirm they more it is satisfying." At least he was honest, right? He had to think about losing this woman so he could go back to the dorms. No doubt Sterling was waiting for him in his room like usual. He could not get rid of that boy no matter how many times he told him to get lost. Despite how he constantly pushed Sterling away, Benny did like having someone to help warm his bed at night. As much as he wished for other things to happen while in bed, he didn't mind the extra weight and warmth. His mind snapped back easily to the woman in front of him, keeping her within his sights. He could take the guns from her. He could push her against the wall hard. he could do alot of things, but he held back for the sake that he simply was bored and didn't want to deal with this right now. Despite her confident air, he viewed her as a little girl playing superheroes. He ignored the comment about shooting his eyes. He could dodge if she wasn't that good of shot regardless. He was so close to her now. He could smell her scent. He kept it within his head as one he had to look out for in the future. If he could avoid her, he would try to at all costs. It would seem he was correct in his observation about not killing him. If the human stayed alive long enough for him to leave, then he could walk away without harm to his person. The last thing Benny wanted right now was to deal with a broken arm or cuts on his body. He responded to her in a clear and precise cold tone. No emotions showed simply because there were no emotions present within the man. "You are the one with the guns pointed at my chest. I didn't kill him and yet here you are getting ready to put two bullets in me." He said it matter-of-factually, keeping his tone even as the monotone type British Accent came out of his lips. "I am simply the one getting the worse end of the deal here." Benny tried to play the 'i'm being made into a victim' card, but he knew that it would most likely not work. Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. Depended on how much of an idiot the 'hero' was. Just as he was about to take a rush at her with his strength, she had stepped to the side. At first Benny thought it a trap, but then he figured if it was, he would just have to fight himself out of it. Silently he wished he did kill the human just to get a rise out of the woman who came to stop him. He faked more emotion as he went on, keeping his mask back on tighter now. He just had to keep fooling her for a while longer then he could go back to the dorms to sleep again. He stepped back, but once he did that her guns found his head again as she issued his warning. He smiled darkly at her, amused slightly at her own set of morals. If she had been Benny, she would have shot him on sight by now and sent the Cleaner to do their job of taking care of the bodies and blood and evidence. "Who said I would allow you to find me? Besides, I do have to make a living. Surely you understand the economy is hard these days, right?" Benny was so full of himself sometimes. He had enough to buy several houses and still have enough left over to buy his own private island. Mercenary work did pay well. He leaned back down to her and smirked still, keeping his tone even. "My blood is as cold as they come. To take me down, you would have to kill that part of your morals that holds you back." He chuckled, a faked one, but it sounded convincing. "Little Miss Superhero must have many many bad guys to catch every night. I am just a little part of that." He was mocking her now. His expression fell again to it's normal emotionless one that many saw on a regular basis outside of school. "Stay out of my way and let me make my living." Walking slightly quicker, Benny skipped on ahead in a blur as his speed kicked in. He glanced back at her with one dark grin. "Little girls shouldn't be playing superheroes. They might get hurt." He couldn't help it, he wanted to see how she would respond to open mocking now. He wanted to get a rise out of her before he went off on his way to his next job before bed. "Good Evening, Miss Superhero." With that, Benny started to walk away, pulling on his leather gloves more as he walked. [/font][/div][/div] [/div][/div] MADE BY VEL OF GS

{ } “Uh-huh.” She replied, giving the vampire a questionable raised brow. “Yeah, you know what they call people like that, Churchy? Sociopaths.” Her words held an air of humor in them as she held her guns steadily in her hands. “Or Sadists… Either way, I don’t care. Just keep your fetishes far away from innocent bystanders.” Well at least they both could agree that Twilight was the saddest literary piece anyone has ever written, but still. She really saw no difference between him and sparky foot-face that pranced around. They both were equally delusional and annoying. Hey! Two in one. “Poor you, and I don’t need your permission to find you….I’m just going to find you. Ever play hide and seek? It’s kind of like that. Except, there will be guns and lots of funny banter. Honestly, it’s going to be a blast.” Alice shrugged, continuing to answer the last of his remarks until he made up his mind to leave. Man, he sure was a talker—not that she wasn’t. If anything, she was known to be a little too mouthy with her villains. But, what’s not to love about a little sarcasm while you worked? Most of them were all the same, anyway. Ooooh look at me! I’m so emotionless and dark and deep and evil! Mwuahahaha. Yeah, yeah. Shit never gets old. For once it wouldn’t hurt to have a playful villain, and although this guy was certainly at the top of her creep scale, he was still social enough. Eh, he could be worse. “A living? You know there are other professions, right? I bet you would make a mighty fine librarian, or….eye doctor.” A small snort came from the girl as she imagined all the frightened kiddies standing in line to get diagnosed by the one-eyed eye doctor. Man, that would be priceless. “Anyway, the list goes on. You don’t need to be a mouthy merc.” Her eyes rolled, finding him to be quite fun to toy with until he made this conversation a little too personal. Killing her morals to take him down? That was questionably possible, and her moral line was sketchy to begin with. Although, so far he proved to be just another annoying thug on her list to annoy. “Yeah, and little boys shouldn’t be playing Supervillain to make up for daddy-issues.” As he walked away, Alice met his dark smirk with one of her own. “You will see me again, Church. I hope you are looking forward to it….because I am.” She called out, giving him a friendly wave before stepping back into the shadows. This one she was definitely keeping an eye on. --------------------------------------------- NOTES: poopy closing post is poopy MADE BY VEL OF GS
