There were many things that kept the pheonix going, and drinking was one of those things that he found the most pleasure in. Perhaps it was because of the alcohol itself that made him giddy with excitement at the bite of the alcohol as it went down his throat, but Spencer was sure there was another reason that he like drinking. It was the bars, not because they provided the alcohol, no that was a bonus, the bars provided entertainment no matter where he went he found that each bar had their own crew. Sometimes he got really lucky and found a really hot girl, or even a male, he wasn't picky in that aspect as long as they caught his eye he would be content with anyone.

So the pheonix had just recently gotten a job as security for a school of pretty much all creatures that shouldn't exist, and man it was a interesting job. He wasn't really used to staying in one place for too long, but it was interesting and he was always interested in those kind of things and in a city that was said to never sleep. There were many bonus' for being in New York, and the bars were definitely something to keep an eye on. So the red flame found himself in the first bar he found, and much to his displeasure, it wasn't all that crowded. There were a few people dancing and a few people drinking but it wasn't all that big for something in new york.

The pheonix wouldn't lie saying that this was quite the drag, and would have probably left if not for the site of something white catching his eyes. A slight brow raise caused the man to stop in his tracks, well ... if he'd be damned. It seemed even if the bar was almost completely empty there was someone here worth looking at. A small grin came across his face and the pheonix scurried his way right up to the bar and sat himself down next to the man that was already sitting here managing to catch the words that came out of his mouth. "Oh? Not having a fun night? Sorry for interrupting. Name's Spencer, I'm new here in town.. do tell me, is this place always this.... " the man stopped glancing around before back to the man he had sat next to.
