Its unclear on which twin is actually the oldest or youngest nor is it a really big thing to them. As children, they were always together and even broke the rules and quite possibly, peoples faces. They were a bit of a pair of rebels that enjoyed life but never really caused too much trouble for their busy mother. Until one night, when breaking the rules lead to their mothers death, organ harvesting, and their own imprisonment in the Black Market. For three years, they had been in separate rooms and only saw each other across the halls or when being moved. Much like his twin, he was bleed out and organs being pushed around and taken but never life threatening.

It was due to his own inventive ways that lead to the twins escape. He had noticed a fellow supernatural being had been mislabeled as a Phoenix when they had been a Kitsune. Knowing enough about the lore, he stuck a contract with the beast in return to gain his and his brothers freedom. With the contract established, it took some planning and murders but the escape happened. 

Sterling, his twin, wasnt quite the same since then and he hadnt been either.

He/She was captured by the same individuals that took the twins. The amount of time the kitsune was imprisoned is unknown, however, he/she  had made a contract with the other twin to escape. It's unclear if there is an ulterior motive or if it was something the kitsune actually wanted to do. Regardless, Sterling doesn't trust them nor does he like the kitsune a bit. He finds the creature to be a pain in the ass as well as exhausting. Sterling gets into regular arguments with him/her --- which usually leads the Kitsune to remind the boy that he could still be back in that hell having his lower entrails being removed or worse lose his other leg. Sterling does not take being indebt to this person well at all.
