Watching the girls scatter at her approach was the most delightful thing. She enjoyed it when they took one look at her and knew to back off and fling their good else where. Sterling had little love for those that went and shook their asses in front of those that caught his eye, even for one night. 

Of course, Benedict Church was always one of those that caught her attention the moment he saw him. Either at school, work, or around town the pony would often flock over to the taller male. If questioned to why she did such a thing she would often reply with the casual birdie or declare that it was just too fun. Benny was a lifeless little doll that needed to learn to live a little or at least pick up on something. Which meant that Sterling took some pride in trying to stir something in the man other then boredom. 

The vampires fake emotions came and went, almost inviting Sterling to try his luck. "Of course you are."  Stated the strawberry blond with very little to be impressed with the time. "Why else would you be over here at Paradise?"  In truth, it urked her that she was so casually overlooked by Benny. 

What was wrong with just taking her along for a good time? Sure, she wasn't an escort but she did cover for them sometimes and her price was always so goddamn high. It was on purpose too as Sterling often saw herself as the hottest shit at her work place. 

"Ah, so that would explain her sudden leave of absence." She traced the edge of the vampires ear with her finger then following the jawline. "I do recall that your not supposed to harm the merchandise." Sterling hardly cared about her co-workers. Though she did find joy in knowing Victoria was out. Bitch deserved it. 

Sterling narrowed her eyes at the vampire with pure displeasure. He even felt his brow tick in the most irritated way. Did this bitch just ask her if she knew of any....scrumptious delights? Ah, excuse you, there was one right in the damn vampires lap. Sterling felt a tad bit offended.

"Fresh out." Her reply was sharp with a hint of pissness too it.  It was true that this guy had often made a few passes at the unicorn but because of her pride he turned him down. Nor did it help that her price was the highest out here because lets face it, Sterling wouldn't bed just anyone. "I think your gonna go to bed alone tonight, Sweetheart." 

Again, she felt the twinge of irritation growing. Taking a small breath, Sterling decided that Benny could just go jump off a cliff. Tapping the side of Benny's face in a "love tap" that came more of a "bitch I hate you love tap", he switched genders in mere moments. 

He glared at the vampire and replied with his usual voice as a male. "Gee, thanks. It's not like I have a life beyond work." Again, his words were sharp but also carried a strong sense of sarcasm. "Because, clearly, I always wanted to be an escort before dancer. Ass." Nope, this wasn't his normal job and he would rather stick to dancing. 

Leaning in, he whispered into the vampires ear threateningly. "Keep this shit up and you might get a knife in a very, very, bad place." 

Sterling was anything but impressed with Benedict Church. He stared at the vampire with a bit of an eye roll. Of course, the fancy vampire was going to tell him that anyone that followed him knew the dangerous. Well, Victoria wasn't a very smart girl and so Sterling highly doubted she knew and if she did she was just stupid. "So, that's the excuse you are going to give? I hope you know your little adventure with her cost me extra sleep." 

Sterling did enjoy a good nights rest and sleeping in when he could. But he also liked the extra hours sometimes. Provided it was when he wanted to do it and not get pulled into it. He could easily tell them no but half the time he didn't. He liked the extra money after all. Speaking of money, the unicorn lowered his gaze to stare at the hand resting on his leg. Hmm, well, that was all right with him. No need to charge for a simple touch. 

Meeting the vampires gaze he smiled slyly at him. "Oh?" His ears perked up and his smile turned into a glare. "Are you complaining about me making residence in your bed? How uncommon. Most people like to find little o'me in their beds." Too bad Benny didn't seem to appreciate that. Oh, the look he was getting from the doll was wonderful. That cute little pointed look. It was like the vampire almost gave a shit...almost. 

The unicorn shifted his weight and suddenly wished he hadn't. At that point, Benny switched the position of his hands and took hold of him by the hair. While Benny clearly had the more threatening voice between the two, Sterling did nothing but shudder slightly. Not from fear but from the promise of violence. He loved that idea and he was most tempted to push it further. 

Sterling moved his arms away from the vampires shoulders to rest his hands on the said area. His nails slowly dug into the man's shoulders with the fabric of his shirt being the only thing to keep them from sinking into flesh. "The only one causing a scene is you, darling." He offered off handly. 

Now the pony couldn't help himself. He laughed softly against Benny's ear. "Oh, Oh, please. You couldn't afford my price nor could you handle my sweet ass. So, keep on dreaming." Correction, Sterling wouldn't at all mind warming his bed up like a wild fire. However, his pride got in the way of it all and his conceited nature didn't help it either.If his pride wasn't so damn high he would glad agree to it. 

"Hmmm," A teasing hum came from him as he thought about the other. He did not pull away from his companion but merely allowed him to do whatever he liked for the time being. "Are you sure it was me scaring them away and not your gruff self?" 

The nightmare stared down at the vampire with a look of mild interest slowly growing across his face. Of course, Benny would just reply in his normal fashion. No emotions and nothing to suggest him meaning anything at all. But Sterling knew better. One day, he would get a reaction of the vampire that he turned into his personal chair. "No. I know you can careless about my rest or what you did." He spoke off handly. His emotions were being wasted on this guy. Why bother being so upset and annoyed with him when nothing came from it? All it ever did was leave him drained. 

Besides, what did any of this really hurt? Sterling didn't like Victoria anyways. She was a cruel hearted woman who often joked about taking Sterling's audience  away or the tall fellow that often came in. In the end, it served her right to die. That in itself made Sterling smile and relax against the vampire. 

Idly, the dancer allowed his hands to caress the back of Benny's head. Lightly, he pulled and twirled that hair around his finger. Why not take his negative emotions and turn them around to be a bit more playful? Much like the man below him, he shared his possessive nature to a certain degree. He didn't like it when others touched or got in Benny's space.  Now why it bothered him? He couldn't honestly say but he would never admit it to the vampire or anyone else for that matter. 

"Maybe I like being smothered by you?" He offered, his tone playful. Moving his legs, he placed them outwards towards the back of the hair and rocked his feet side to side on the ball of his heel. The little touches Benny left where rather welcomed and claiming for the Nightmare. If anyone else tried to handle the stallion in such a way they often would walk away bleeding or crying. Sterling hardly let anyone touch him without a motive or if he merely agreed to it. Benny, often, was not included in any of those categories. Sterling just let it slid and pretend it was nothing. But lord, he liked every minute of it and Benny would never know. 

Laughing lightly, he teased the back of Bennys head with one hand while the other came back around to poke at his chest. "You're not supposed to be touching the dancers. Hmmm, but I can let it slid...just this once since no one is paying attention to us." Nope, the bouncers weren't even looking at them let alone noticing the scene. Maybe they were just so used to it by now? 

Now Sterling just raised his brows at the daring man. His playful smile grew and his irritation was now long forgotten. "Oh ho, you would love for me to say that to you, wouldn't you? When, if ever, have I ever used those words towards you? If I wanted you, you would know it." There was that little nasty head of Pride coming out again. The damn wall never seemed to be able to be broken. He was acting too good for the other now with that look in his eyes. But in truth, even if he wanted Benny he would never openly say it. That would be admitting his attraction to the man and admitting anything was a sign of weakness. 

The McDonald's comment was a fast stab and one that caused Benny to receive a firm nail grip to his poor area again. "S'cuse you. I'm not cheap like those sluts, including the vampire." The playfulness left his voice as quickly as it came. The urge to slap Church bald headed came in full force but he kept himself from doing such an action. He couldn't beat up a customer of his work place. But once he got back to the dorms it would be a whole new ball game my friends. 

Taking a deep breath, he bit back his sharp words and smiled like a devil. Benny would pay for that right later tonight. "Don't be an ass."  Sterling had half a mind to reject the kiss but instead went with it. He allowed Benny to pull him in and molest his lips and, of course, Sterling joined. He kept the male close and made the kiss last a bit longer by holding his head in place. After a moment, he pulled away. Sterling looked into the vampires eyes and judged him lightly with his words. 

Did this make up for anything? He thought about that while his fingers brushed across that eyepatch of his and ears, coming to once again rest in his hair. "Do you really think that will make up for anything? That was a pathetic attempt." 

Benedict wasn’t the only one that took notice of the club suddenly becoming busy. It was about time for everyone and their brother to show up which meant Sterling would have to get back to work. The strawberry blond sighed softly. He directed his green eyes away from his current company to peer into the crowds. He scanned the area quickly to make a snap judge decision based on how each individual presented themselves if he could make money from them. He picked out who would be more likely to visit him and who would grab most of his attention. His survey came to a quick end and he shifted on the vampire. Hearing Benedict speak, he looked back at him with a blank expression. Clearly, with his attention having been turned away he had briefly forgotten what the conversation had been about.

It only took him a few minutes to tune back into it as easily as flipping a channel. The only reply Benny would receive was an amused smile. Sterling happened to like the idea of the other trying to suffocate him more often. It was rather pleasant when that happened and even more when he failed, which of course meant that Sterling took over the whole bed. Including most of Benny’s body that he cuddled up against randomly in the night. Call it a twisted sense of power over the other or an accomplishment. When in reality it really wasn’t much of anything because Benny just didn’t give a shit about anything. It was a bit depressing sometimes but the unicorn dealt with it. He knew how the vampire was and well, there was no changing that.

Sterling should of put the touching to a stop for his job sake but he didn’t. He allowed the mercenary to keep his hands busy on his body. Each motion was more pleasing then the last even when he slid his fingers across his prosthetic. Normally, that would bother to unicorn if anyone else did it. He was rather highly protective of that leg. Usually, when someone went to touch it, it was to remove it and leave the unicorn unable to move. He didn’t like that, without his leg he couldn’t walk or no anything he would prefer. It was like someone stealing a kids floatation device and shoving them into the water. It was a jackass move that left him feeling, dear he say it, vulnerable. But with Benny, he didn’t feel that way.

Green eyes narrowed at the mercenary’s wise words. If he didn’t want him then he would of left him a while ago. The truth stung like a fresh back hand. For a moment, Sterling didn’t know how to answer that or what comment to make to counter it. He just stat there looking like a cat who got cold water dumped on him suddenly. The unicorn brought his arms up to rest over the vampires shoulder in thought. Delicate fingers drummed lightly against each other behind his company’s head. ”I know you well enough, but clearly you don‘t know me just as well.” The truth was there and it wasn’t pretty.

And there it was once again, the truth being waved around in his face like a neon flag. In fact, it was almost rather comical. He could almost feel a cartoon words fall on his head that would be the classical romance phrases and sexual ones found in most books. ”Well, aren’t you the little exhibitionist.” The words was as dry as Benny’s own. He spoke as if he didn’t care nor was he impressed but in reality that idea of such adventures put a little heat under his collar. God, the pervert in him wouldn’t mind those actions at all but his boss would think highly different of the situation. Getting fired would not be good for him. He did have bills to pay and things to buy.

Remember that little bit of steam in his collar? Well, it was building up to flame thanks to Benedict Church. The dancer had no words for a moment with his blunt statement. Luckily, Sterling was able to gather his wits and keep his disinterested expression. ”You don’t have the ability to make me scream let alone beg for it.” That little sex bomb exploded and created a path of destruction inside the unicorn in a good way. The poor unicorn wasn’t excitedly prepared for the sudden movements below. The dancer jerked to sitting straight up in fear of falling on his rump and took hold of the mercenary tightly. He was seemingly reward for his actions with another stolen kiss, rougher then the last. Sterling welcomed it without any hesitation and even got into it before he was suddenly dropped on his ass onto the floor. It was impossible to remained on his vampric chair that had suddenly stood and promptly moved away from him. Sterling had no words because, let’s face it, he was shocked to be on the floor. That shock then quickly switched over to murderous intent. How dare that asshole suddenly put him on his ass in front of god and everyone! Luckily, not many noticed but still, Sterling’s pride was hurt in both ways.

He took a deep breath, glared daggers, sneered and finally forced himself into a standing position with the aid of the now empty chair. What made it even worse was one of his straps moved and he had to fix it to make sure his leg remained in place. Remember that lovely urge to remove his “friends” eye? Well, that was coming back to form a very powerful urge to actually follow through with it. He took two steps forward and glared at the woman that attached themselves onto Benny like a pair of leeches. A pair of leeches that would burn in hell later tonight if Sterling had his way or worse. Someone would find their bodies implied and left in a dumpster, Benedict Church’s body would be among them.

The only reply Church would get was a very displeased growl followed by the unicorn flying him the a very distinct bird, followed by its migrating cousin. Not quite what he meant to do but it happened as that goddamn vampire walked off with a pair of twats. It was then, when he was along on the floor that he had to make a choice. The music had picked up its tempo as a signal for the dancers on break to return to their post for the reminder of the night. Sterling would be one of the few that did not return to the stage to shake their bottoms.

Maybe he should just let Benedict go and do his own damn thing behind closed curtains like he had done many times. Regardless, if Sterling was there or not, he knew what he did behind that damn curtain. More then once, he watched it go down and it always pissed him off. Still, he remained glued to the his spot until he muttered a few choice words and stomped off towards that booth. His heels clacked dangerously across the well kept floor. He turned, ducked, and twisted around the idiots that where in his way and in one instant, shoved someone into a table. He was done with this shit tonight. Coming to the curtain he jerked it open and without a single word he dragged the bitches out of the booth by the hair and shoved them out. He then promptly threatened to put another gapping hole between their legs if they came near him or Benedict again. Shoving the curtain closed so violently that the curtain almost ripped, he turned towards Benedict.

He gave to warning to his next actions of taking his prosthetic leg and shoved it hard into the chair barely missing Benedict’s manhood in the process. Which was a good thing or he might of really busted those balls beyond repair from his rage. If it was possible to kill with a glance then the vampire would be dead instantly. It was almost as if the nightmare was channeling his inner horse to the point that his hair looked like it was on fire and that ethereal fog was seeping out from him. Of course, that could just be the trick of poor eye sight too. Like a viper, his hand darted out and took hold the mercenaries neck as tightly and roughly as possible. Of course, it probably wouldn’t bother Benny at all but it made Sterling feel ten times better. ”Dinner is canceled Benedict, but the food coma isn‘t.” The nightmare was clearly beyond pissed for a number of reasons. One, being the fact he was dropped on his ass, his pride been stomped on, and so much more.
