I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme It hadn't been that long since the woman had come to New York City, and it had been the word of the very school she now attended that had gotten her to even come. Anna was an adventurous sort, and she found that staying in one spot for very long became boring really quickly. So, the school held some sort of enlightenment for her and her life, since she felt that she really didn't belong anywhere in this world. There was simply nothing here that seemed to reach out to her, at least not yet.. hopefully something here would make it worth signing up for the school that she was now enrolled in as a forth year.
It seemed that many would say that she was amazing for living on her own for the past five years, but of course there was only so much one could do on their own. Ayanna honestly felt it was easier to be alone, almost like it was a second habit to her, since there were no memories of where she had come from before. So, obviously, wherever she had been wasn't important enough to remember, or maybe whoever she was with didn't care enough to keep her. Though, she did admit in the back of her mind that watching children with their families tugged at something in her, but she would quickly push such feelings aside. Whoever had given her life obviously didn't care enough to keep her, so why should she let them bother her now by thinking of them? That was her own way of getting back at the people who apparently didn't care about her.
The girl however, was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even notice another (relatively annoyed) person that was also walking through the courtyard toward the school itself. To be fair, it wasn't normal for a male to be that short either, that she managed to beat him in height by even an inch or so. The woman didn't even notice the other until she managed to collide with his (rather firm) torso which made her take a few steps back almost falling over from the impact. A small frown crossed her face as she got herself together and actually took a good glance at him.. he was handsome, even more so than any man she had met before even with his rather short height.
Aya found herself flush rather bright before quickly brushing herself off as if she had made him dirty for some reason. "I apologize, I was a bit lost in thought." she said before a bright smile came to her face. "My name is Ayanna but you can call me Aya or Anna if you'd like. " she said keeping the smile on her face. "Hopefully i didn't mess you up or anything, what's your name?" she asked all in one breath. Hmm perhaps this place wouldn't be too bad if there were people like him wondering around the school halls.

Zach had an interesting place here. The school was sprawling in every sense of the word. Spaces were large, classrooms were full, and people surrounded him from all corners during normal school hours. It was a little overwhelming for someone of his nature. It wasn’t until he stopped and let himself take a breather did he feel he could stomach and tolerate others. Larse just needed his space that was all. He was a dog, and dogs required a pack mentality, but that didn’t mean he was the norm at all times. He could stand having a small pack of friends instead of an insufferably large one to handle.
Glancing this way and that, Larse slipped a hand down beneath his uniform button down shirt and fished for the necklace he held so dear. The necklace in question looked to be swirling in design, like a whirlpool. If you looked closely enough, it looked like what was within was moving and alive. He thumbed it, allowing himself to be taken away to a far more appealing place. Close to two hundred years ago, that same room with the baby grand piano.
And that woman, dressed in a thick dress that noblewomen wore. Yet her smile was far too casual for the stuffiness it evoked of the dress. He began to wonder how she’d take the world now if she were ageless like he was. Would she laugh at the complicatedness of it all? Or would she be frightened but curious of the changes? She always was the type to trudge headfirst into something new.
He moved on, but her memory was a constant warmth and comfort. He felt like he could start to let things go and relax when he was around her. Just listening to her play. Larse closed his eyes, standing still and allowing a spring breeze to pass him by. Yes, this was a good place to be. No one judging him, though he might’ve looked odd just standing there holding something in his hand.
At the sudden jerk one usually made when someone bumped up against them, he whipped his head to the girl’s direction. Out of impulse, he grit his teeth, uttering a small constrained grunt. It did sound like a growl in the beginning, but control led him to stop before it could be too noticeable. Larse’s eyebrows furrowed deeply at this girl. He was actually quite embarrassed to be caught so unaware. She hadn’t seen it too much right? Him being vulnerable?
He had a reputation to maintain, damn it all.
“...are you new?” He asked her, turning his body to face her completely. “Only really new students introduce themselves without a care in the world.” A little irritating and naïve in his opinion but it’s not like this was hell. Behavior like that would get some scoffing, mocking laughter, or both.

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme Well it seemed the man that she had bumped into had his own little demons to work with. Despite his rather handsome looks, it seemed that he was a bit more to himself. Though the moment she had seen him before he had actually been bumped into, made him look like that was different. This man had a softer expression on before, and one that made him look a lot more tolerable than he did now, but that didn't bother Anna too much. She generally beat to her own drum after all, and that meant that she would find out the thing that made him tick, and make sure she didn't do anything to upset him.
His expression had completely changed by this point, but it wasn't something that new to the girl. She had run into all kind of people in her travels after all, and this wouldn't be any different. A smile still stayed on her face despite his dismissing words that came at her like he was trying to instantly push her away. "Guess you could say that, first time in this school second time in new york. " she answered in the same cheery tone she had before. It wasn't like she would let his offsetting personality bother her too much. "Guess you must know a lot about the school from the sound of it. Are you a teacher? Or maybe you're just a fourth year that's been here for a while." she guessed trying to answer questions for herself since he didn't seem like the type to do that himself.
"Oh, you didn't tell me your name.. or maybe your shy and don't want me to know hmm?" she said wit ha innocent smile closing her eyes some. "Either way, it's really nice to meet you and I really am sorry about bothering you.. you seemed to be in a peaceful mood a few moments ago. Is that necklace something precious to you? " she asked him softly, her eyes taking on the softness of the words that came from her mouth as well. "I don't really have any memory of where I was born or anything, its just blank from about five years ago, so it must be nice to have something to hold on to." she said explaining a bit of herself without a care in the world.
"Since you know more about the school than me, would you mind showing me around, and possibly where the music room is?" she asked softly. It had been a while, since she had gotten her hands on anything musical. Of course, that was part of her unexplained past, someone that was attracted to music by heart rather than memory.

She screamed of someone new, and his assumption was right on the mark. Larse slowly allowed his arms to cross over his chest while she explained things. As well as say a few weirdly annoying things. For the most part though, it was straightforward. New people always asked a lot of questions and it would be unbecoming as Student Council President to turn others away just because of his own personality. Even if he didn’t want the job in the first place. God was probably punishing him in some fashion.
“No. I’m not a teacher. I’m a fourth year student and Student Council President.” Inwardly, he growled further, but since it wasn’t his real name it was tolerable and polite to give names. “Larse Meerholz.” At mention of his necklace, he shoved it back under his shirt and kept it there. By even a child’s observation, it wasn’t a closely known thing on what the necklace was and what value it had to him.
Not having any memory of a certain period of time led to many questions. Was she human? He inhaled some air, but his natural senses gave him nothing on her. Besides the faint trace of gingersnaps.
“It is what it is. I’ll need to be in my room to find peace. …” His eyes narrowed a little while keeping themselves on her. It was not something he wished to discuss, but Ayanna was good on changing the subject to something else from what he had gathered of her so far. Now this girl wanted a tour though? Was that part of his job description? He just didn’t know, but to put in a good image he’d have to make due with some things.
It was far out of his comfort zone to give tours, partly because he’s so blunt with everything that it may be hard to translate.
“This is the courtyard, obviously. Kids come out here to study, chat, and other social shit. Outside on the sides and back are the areas for sports crap. They’re easy to distinguish on which is which.” He beckoned her to follow with a reserved wave that she better heed. “Coming inside the school…” He paused and pointed to one hallway. “Most doors on the first floor all have signs on what they are and a map is available in the front for those who get lost. It’s no issue.”
“Music room is upstairs. The different wings of the school can be confusing, but you’ll get the hang of it.” He began to walk towards the area of the stairs, but stopped before ascending them. “Just because the music rooms are usually quiet doesn’t mean you can make them designated places to fuck around with boys. I caught one couple and they got a swift detention.”
”Don’t make the same stupid mistake.” He breathed, finding it difficult to talk so much as is. “Any questions before we continue?”

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme When the slightly shorter male crossed his arms over his chest the girl rose a slight brow wondering exactly what was going through his mind. This man seemed to have his own way of running things, but that wasn't a bad thing, it just meant that he moved to the beat of his own drum, and that was something she could relate too. After her little bit of a speech was over she almost expected the other to walk off, his posture told her enough that he didn't want to be here. The opposite however, happened as the man slowly started to answer her questions one by one.
"The student council? That must be nice, you know I'm good with reports and things... if you guys ever need any help let me know. " she said with a genuine smile. That was something that was true at least, she had to be orderly living on her own as she had for the past couple of years, since she was the only one around to do it for herself. "Well then, that wasn't too hard. Thank you for your kind words, Larse." she said giggling some. Of course, that wasn't something she did often but he was a funny guy, at least in the fact that he did things in a different way than most others which made him interesting to say the least.
When she mentioned his necklace it was quite interesting to watch the man quickly shove the item back under his shirt. That meant that her hunch was correct and not many people knew about the object that seemed to be very precious to him. He quickly came up with a response to her question that she simply nodded about. It seemed like he wasn't the one to talk about such things to people like her (people he had just met) and she could understand that. It seemed however, that when she asked for a tour she seemed to have sent the man through a small loop. He must not have been used to such things with the way he responded. Either way, he seemed to offer himself and she was content with that, even with the blunt way he put things.
Anna couldn't help but let out a soft laugh when he started, but not until he finished his sentence as to not be rude. "I'm sorry, I just love your description of everything." she admitted before following him when he waved her to follow him as she stayed a pace or two behind him, to give him space but not to get separated. "That's convenient at least, " she commented when he mentioned that everything on the first floor had a sign and that there was a map available. How big was this school? The woman quickly tuned back in when the man mentioned where the music room was upstairs, but also assured her that she would get the hang of the school.
The girl couldn't help but raise her brow when he commented about the use of the music rooms and once again she couldn't help but laugh. "You don't have to worry about that, I'm not.. the relationship type. I generally don't stay in one place too long, so relationships like that don't generally last. I appreciate the advice though mister student council president." she said with a small giggle added to the end of his title. She didn't know why, but it was just great saying it like that and it amused her, not that he would find it amusing. "Hmmm.. How often do the different clubs meet, and are there general assemblies a lot? Or do students just kind of have free run of the place, other than obvious rules. Also, I really would like some information on the student council. I really would like to see if I can be of any assistance once I get settled in. " she said.
Anna pondered for a moment before shaking her head, causing her bangs to move back and forth in front of her face. "That should be it for questions so far, so please continue!" she said reminding herself to keep the smile on her face.

Was she offering? He really didn’t like being talked to like he was a child. If he didn’t want to divulge his name he wouldn’t have said it. Blast this job, if he wasn’t the President he would’ve stayed being a hermit with socializing. Now he was relied on by many people if not the entire school body. The girl before him was far too bubbly. It was like that expression of getting diabetes from sweet little children and women that giggled too much. Her niceness could be exploited, that was his first thought. I would be a shame if that happened to anybody truly nice.
Being told that the way he described things was comical and great to someone had his eyebrow arching just a bit. Surprised, really, but he let it go.
Her answer towards relationships made him nod. He was in agreement with such things for himself. There was only one person he came very close to being involved with, and it was by her own undoing that she wasn’t around with him. Also, the fact she was human. She would’ve died soon anyway, which saddened him when he was coping all those years ago. The inevitable, it was.
Larse’s nostrils did flare at the name she gave him. Mister Student Council President? What is she, four? “Don’t call me that. It sounds juvenile.” He did ponder over her questions, coming with an answer fairly quickly. It was common questions after all, and he knew well enough how things operated. “Clubs are mainly student based in operation, with a teacher at the helm for supervision purposes.”
“It is the president that dictates club times, days of the week to meet up, and so on. Then it is handed off to the Student Council to look over and approve. The Headmaster usually doesn’t get involved. There is a bulletin board on this level that posts the times and etc for each club. That and when important tests come up to know that club activities are closed and so on.”
Larse began to ascend the stairs to the second floor, taking his time just for safety’s sake. His hand on the wooden rail and keeping himself steady with each step. “There usually is from what I can tell. The Headmaster likes to have an environment where the students have choices rather than anything limiting them. It’s to make things civil and comfortable.”
“Also, that isn’t entirely up to me. To join the Student Council you have to impress those within. We come to a consensus after writing up a letter on why you’d be a good fit for us and we review it.” Before, the old president ruled it as if he was King. That is not how he wished for it be handled and the others liked it better with his rules. All was fair and right. He’s dealt with actual kings before, it is a travesty to let those rules remain.
Stepping on to fair ground of the second floor, he took a glance around and turned to the appropriate direction in the hallway for the music room. “What do you want to know about the Council? It’s pretty straightforward.” His steps were fluid, passing by numerous classrooms until he stopped at a particular door. This school had around three music rooms if he was exact. Zach really went overboard with how many rooms he wanted in this place.
“This is the music room that is usually the least used. Really just for private practice. The second room. The first room is used by the Music Club and the third is general purpose. Take your pick.” He stepped away from the door, if she wanted to look around inside.

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme The girl couldn't help but giggle when she heard his response to her calling him the nickname she had given him. "ah, sorry about that. larse it is then." she said with a smile on her face, before blinking a bit. "unless you prefer your last name, honorifics and all that." she said mildly waving a hand slightly since there were just too many different things to keep track of in today's society. As the man continued to speak and answer her questions, anna was quiet and listened to each answer taking it in as something she needed to remember to actually work correctly at this school after all.
"That's not too hard to remember, and guess it's a bit of work to get into the council huh?" she said with a smile. Not that it would stop her if she really wanted to become part of the club. The brown haired girl followed the slightly shorter male up the steps when he finally seemed to stop in front of a few rooms that she suspected to be the music rooms she had mentioned earlier. The golden hues glancing back at him when he asked her what she wanted to know about the council. "You don't seem like the type of person to like people, so why did you join the council?" she asked before she stopped herself. Suddenly she covered her mouth with a flush as she realized how rude that sounded.
"I'm so sorry, I'm just a curious person. Um.. what's the best thing about being on the council?" she asked trying to ask something less.. demanding of him. After she finished the man pointed out the three different rooms explaining each one to the woman as he said which one would be best. Anna bit her lip for a moment before looking back at him. "Do any of them have a piano?" she asked. That was the one thing she needed to practice more of since learning when she was little. She could always sing, sure, but she really loved piano and the soft melodies it could possess.
"If you know that is."

There was something so odd about humans that he took notice of very often. They were usually open with their affections and feelings. So free to do as they wished, and yet having such short lifespans. He was enviable of their emotional progress, but pitied them over life spans that only spanned so long in time. This girl was one of those types, always so carefree in her approach to people. She had apologized, and then even offered to speak his name in a respectable manner.
There was no need for this and thus Larse shook his head to signify his answer to this. She was right to act a bit flustered after such a question. Larse’s thin eyebrows lowered, face only tightening at such an inquiry. Why if he were younger he would’ve growled and attempted to burn the girl for such insolence. He inhaled deeply and released it in a sigh, just to relieve whatever desire there was to do such a thing here. This academy wasn’t fit for creatures like him and definitely not to be around people like her.
Curiosity and ignorance go hand in hand after all.
“Everyone has their own opinion about it. You can visit the room any time that isn’t normal meeting days. New kids get that privilege since we’re always recommended on showing new students the ropes.” The demon blinked when Ayanna looked to him while she spoke. The question was very simple and it beckoned the question of why in his head. Perhaps she was into the instrument herself? It was popular because of its myriad of notes and sounds it could make.
Corina liked it as well, and a brief flicker of pride washed over him. Knowing her made him feel quite good about his life even if it was brief.
“Two do. This one for instance, does. Why?”

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme It was obvious that the girl had probably gone a bit too far when she had asked the other about why he was on the council if he didn't like people very much. It hadn't been meant to be rude to the other, but she seemed to have crossed some hidden line when it came to the male before her. Something that he didn't seem to want to talk about, and for a fraction of a second the girl almost thought the look like he was going to eat her crossed her face. A slight frown crossed her elegant features before a smile quickly replaced the frown that had been there a moment ago, almost like how the demon had pushed away the question in his mind as well.
To her second question, the girl noticed that the man didn't exactly answer the question that she gave him, he had almost avoided it entirely but she wouldn't push him. She had already gone to far a few moments prior, so it would be best to stay on what was left of larse's good side it seemed if she was going to ever be able to talk to the president on a normal occasion other than when he was... well forced to show her around cause he was part of the council. "I see, I'll think about it if I have any other questions after our tour that you graciously gave me, and I really appreciate that." she said keeping that smile on her face.
It did seem however, that Anna had surprised him when she had asked about the piano. It took a moment before he answered obviously knowing where they were as he pointed out which rooms did. When he asked her why she resisted the giggle that rose up in her throat at his sudden want to know about her. "Well.. i played when I was younger ... so I really want to take it back up. I know enough to play something I taught myself when I played a lot more, but its mostly so I have something to sing too." she said calmly. "I think I'm a lot better singer than a player, but maybe I could get lessons so I could be both." she rambled a bit, not really used to telling people about herself since many simply didn't want to know or didn't care.
"Did that answer your question?" she asked looking back at the other with a bright smile on her face and her eyes closed with a small giggle attached.

That made a bit of sense. The accompaniment of singing with the piano was lovely. Larse was fairly glad that humans had such time to develop so many nice things in their spare yet short time on earth. It showed how diligent and serious they could be with what time they were allotted. After her explanation, Larse shrugged his shoulders. “It sufficed.”
“You’ll get lessons if you’re serious about it.” Larse looked inside of the room past the glass to the side of the door. The instruments laying within caught his attention briefly and he perused what he was able to make out. Truth be told, Larse never played inside of the music rooms here. He never really had a reason to. He stayed at the dorm, but he had his own home. In that very dwelling was a piano that stood as grand as its name. It was old, maintained heavily to keep it going as long as possible.
It was probably the most treasured item that he had in his life save for the necklace and the vintage liquor he had in his basement. Music rooms also reminded him far too much of the one woman in his life that mattered. All the good and bad that came from that, exumed from the recesses of his inside emotions.
“…you still need the rest of the tour or are you good?” He finally ripped his gaze from the music room and to her again; positively indifferent and hard to read his facial expression.

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme Anna had noticed that her explanation seemed to go over well with the other as he had just listened thorough most of it. At least to this point that meant that she didn't have to worry about offending him again. Yet something else seemed to rest in his indifferent appearance, as much as he tried to hide his emotions and whatever he was feeling, there was just things you caught on too when you learned to read people. Ayanna wasn't a people person, other than the facade she put on for others, but she had learned to read them well so she could know how to best for herself into a certain group or style.
So when the other man glanced around the room she had caught something perhaps a longing in him as the silence allowed her to measure just want the room meant to the man, or perhaps the room reminded him of. His response wasn't something that signaled he had a memory from the room itself, but instead that it triggered something else from his memory. Not bad for a girl living on her own after all. " you seem like you like music yourself, larse " she said almost testing the words as she said them trying to make sure there wasn't anything insulting within them as his blank expression once again focused on her.
" no the tour is fine here, but before you go can I ask a few more questions if you don't mind?" she asked him. Of course, these questions weren't about the school. Really the girl wanted to know more about the man himself, but if she told him that then she was sure he would want nothing to do with it. " do you play an instrument at all?" she said before continuing a bit more sheepishly as if she was embarrassed to ask. " I saw the way you looked at the musical instruments, is music something special to you as well?" she finished.
Part of her wondered if she had gone to far again, after all... He had already snapped at her for her curiosity once.

There were assumptions being made, that which settled into his gut and veins like poison. It was in distaste that Larse’s nostrils flared, keeping his back to her. He could feel it, that hot vapor threatening to pour from both holes like he was a bull. It was the first sign of his anger, but not any normal kind of anger. No, not the kind any human could create on their own. This was not the anger that accelerated blood flow reddened cheeks, and grit the teeth as a means of an outlet. Actually, this was that hellish side wanted to break free. Larse could be compared to a chimney, crafted in hell, and ready to explode at a moment’s notice.
The only thing keeping him from wanting to dominate her by means of the hellhound instinct was because she was human. Otherwise, growling and baring his teeth would suffice, perhaps even a brief voice change to that of what he truly sounded like. Anything to make her bend the knee and know what her place was. Those who didn’t usually were bitten and or incinerated. There was little mercy for dominance of his kind. You kneel or die when faced with your superior.
He took in a deep breath into his hot nostrils, keeping the smoke at bay. The rising temperatures in his gut threatened his body, filling himself with vigor for the hunt, but also of aggression. No, he did not need this…this prodding. This…whatever this was. Was she a spy? Perhaps a huntress? Did she know of him then?
She was still human. A second confirmation by growing necessity confirmed that. He couldn’t do a damn thing to her. Not a one. He didn’t want to get reprimanded by Royce (or would he laugh or just pity her?) or Zach whom would certainly cast him out. (Not that Larse cared, but it was a pain in the ass to deal with regardless.)
Larse leaned his neck to one side, a sharp crack, and then another, the same.
“Are you…” He turned his head to look behind him at her. “Implying something?”
His eyes burned, fiercely. She knew nothing, and if she wanted to see his emotion he’d gladly show her how irritated he was. "Are you?" He repeated, turning around slowly. Larse's eyes could've had the impact of two guns firing at once, putting holes in this girl.
"...I am not here to educate you...on my feelings or my experiences. I am here to educate you on the school. If you want to get to know people...join a fucking club. Am I clear?"

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme The air had almost changed instantly, just the presence of it was something she could feel. It was almost like an instinct, one that rose up in her. Telling her to back off quickly, or she could get very- very hurt. The air was enough for her to take a small step back almost as if it was normal rather than the change in the air as the man seemed to take on a very different air to him now. Even if Ayanna didn't believe what she was to the point that others saw her as human, that side of hers was there to protect her, and that supernatural like warning system told her to back off.. and do it quickly.
It also clued her to something else she hadn't thought of before, could this man not be.. human like her? There had been rumors about this school hosting the supernatural world.. but she hadn't been one hundred percent about it. "Not at all." she answered him as he cracked his neck and seemed to submit his dominance at her almost like well... she couldn't actually finish the thought without implying something she didn't have the right to actually imply about the other. Ayanna after all, did know she had gone a little to far perhaps ... so she was used to adapting to situations like this. Playing the part of the submissive was something she could do, just on the opposite side she could be a very dominate person if the situation called for it.
"I apologize, that I got those two mixed up then." she said with an almost innocent smile as the other shot eyes that could have put bullets in any normal person. In fact, she got the feeling that this man could have sent any normal human running and never to bother him again. It might have been a bit easier if she was like that too, but Ayanna found that kind of life wasn't meaningful enough for her. "This school seems like its going to be quite the interesting place, if half the students are anything like you." she finished still in a soft like tone, the fact that she hadn't run off on him implied that there was something that wasn't normal about her either. The fact that she knew of the other world that this man came from and that she (secretly) was a part of.
There was also the fact that a thought was running through her head now, as to whether he too, was as human as he seemed to be.

She wasn’t? Really? Is that so? Adrenaline still coursed through his body. It made every hardened bit of muscle tense, as if coiled in a spring and ready to let loose destruction. He was old, not as old as some he knew, but old enough to know better. There was a limit to how angry he could be and how much anger he should show right now. Act more human, he thought. Accept the apology, even if it is just wasteful noises coming from her mouth to project some amount of feeling and understanding.
Even though in that concept, his kind knew next to nothing besides barking and other noises. They were more straightforward then the dribble that slipped from human lips on a daily basis.
With himself in this state, so close to everything bestial besides the full change, little things alerted themselves to him. He could hear the kids outside, steps in the hallways, anything that could trigger something in him. This hyper awareness was overwhelming, a dogs knowing feeling deep down that nagged and bit on his spinal cord and everything associated with control.
Larse looked at her, appearing lofty, as if he looked down at her from a pedestal despite the height difference. Yes, she apologized, and yes, what she said next unnerved him, but she didn’t flinch away from him. She stood where she was, and that was not normal by any means. Was she truly human then? Or was she masking herself?
“I can’t imagine why an angry guy like me would give you that idea, but…” Larse huffed. “…go, make friends, whatever you want to accomplish. Just don’t include me in this. My job is done.”

I FEEL ALIVE
WHEN I'M WITH YOU @rhyme Ayanna watched him as the anger that seemed to cover him like a second skin slowly started to calm down once again. Even so, there was still something unsettling that was about him.. almost like he wasn't completely done being mad with her. That was to be expected, the girl thought, since she had obviously done something really bad to trigger something so anger filled from him. At least, Ayanna had some sense about her and knew when to back off of something she knew she couldn't win.. and that was what had kept her head on her shoulders as long as it had been.
Ayanna could feel the sense of power that he presented from himself, it was almost as if she was in the presence of royalty. Ayanna couldn't place his face, or even his name in any royalty their world still had, but that could be just her memory. Just the air this man gave off, even if he was shorter than her by a little, was almost as if he was above everyone else. While that wasn't an exact turn off for the girl, it definitely made her curious as to what he had been through to give him such an air when his name or family seemed to have no influence over the world. Oh the stories he must have had in that brain of his that had made him this way. She hoped that perhaps one day she would be able to hear the stories but that was probably far away.
Even with that royalty feel, she had backed off but she wasn't afraid of the other. Ayanna wasn't afraid of much, since she had seen what the world was capable of, she knew of the supernatural side of it.. and she was pretty sure he was a part of it. No human could give off this much of a power source as far as she had met. "Of course, I really appreciate the tour, since I know you probably don't do it often." she said giving the other a smile once he had finished speaking. The woman had become very meek now, afraid of setting off another tantrum like the one before, since that was what it reminded her of. A child, not getting his way, but dare she say that to this man, less he crush with just his presence alone.
"Thank you for everything you've done, Larse. I hope we can meet on better circumstances next time. " she said with a small laugh before fixing herself and starting to walk down the hall with a wave of her hand. She would definitely not forget the man, nor the bit of power that he had showed to her. Even if he hadn't meant it, he had caught the girl's attention.. and once something did catch the attention of the unknown angel it was hard to pull her away from it. It seemed that perhaps.. she would stay in one place .. for a bit longer than she had originally predicted.
