my heart is cold, you can't leave As much as Cobalt enjoyed his job there was one thing that he could do without, the part where an upset supernatural may or may not lose control and spew something, or call up an element, or lash out with a claw, in short they could do any number of things that resulted in the destruction of something. Luckily it was usually something he could easily replace, this week it had been an array of shirts that had fallen victim to the students of Hisso academy. He could barely find a shirt that didn't have a burn whole or tear in it that morning and that just wasn't going to do.
White, blue, black plaid, good lord how many options did they really need for shirts? Cobalt tended to be the simple sort that really just needed a solid color that looked nice. The man frowned at the piles in front of him, picking his way through the ones that suited his tastes, though for once something compelled him to grab a plaid shirt. Not something he usually did but perhaps he should actually shake it up for once.
Back in the men's dressing area Cobalt went through the shirt's he'd picked out and brought back with him, trying them on to make sure he had the right size. Lord knew the man didn't have the time to bother paying attention to his own shirt sizes half the time. He was lucky he even remembered what size his pants were, or his shoes.
He set the second to last shirt aside and picked up the plaid one he'd grabbed on a whim. Cobalt found himself staring down at it again, frowning with uncertainty. It wasn't like it was a big deal or anything it was just that internal debate of did he stick with what he normally got or did he actually bother to venture outside his realm of predictability for once? Or perhaps he was just way more tired than he had thought himself to be and that way why he couldn't seem to make a decision for the life of him.
All the while he stood there, shirt off, not worrying about the scars on his back like he normally did as no one else had been around. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

nineteen - twenty one i tried to write about your eyes but i ran out of cliches, i tried to say you plainly but there wasn’t enough truth, whoever invented this language didn’t anticipate you. + new template what? + and a sexy back | it hadn't been long since the dragon had been taken from the life of captivity by the man that went by the name of Reginald. Even if the older dragon was embarrassed by it, she thought of him as her own personal knight the man that had saved her from the life that she had before, a life filled with pain and suffering. A life that she couldn't bare to go back to ever again, but he had promised that she wouldn't, and the girl could believe in the words that found their way past his lips.
So as well as living with the dragon for now, not that she would ever want to leave , he had started to take care of her. First off, he had said that she needed new outfits since she really didn't have anything other than a very showy dress that he had told her wasn't suitable for a lady. Not that mia thought she was anything close to a lady, she did want to make him happy nonetheless. So the duo had gone shopping in town, careful to stay away from spying eyes that could be looking for her.
Mia currently downing a really baggy shirt and pants that obviously didn't fit, but they were the closest thing that Reggy could offer the girl while she didn't have anything else. So the girl had been given a few things to try on in a store, a skirt and a top that matched and had enjoyed the day out with the man without any worries about doing something wrong, but there had been a few slip ups. The girl still cringed when anyone rose a hand higher than her head.
Those things would take a while to completely get rid of, but the girl had just shown off the newest outfit to Reggy before heading back to the changing rooms not quite remembering which one she had been in a moment before, the girl found herself moving back the curtain as she entered the room about to take off her top when she was face to face with someone's bare back, not even noticing the scars that laced the man's back.
A bright red hue suddenly covered the woman's face as she stared for a moment before a rather loud squeaking like sound came from her throat as she ditched instantly running back out of the room and the halfly dressed man that was probably as confused as she was running successfully into the arms of her knight who was just outside the changing rooms. Mia quickly buried her red face into his chest trying to make the embarrassment and the picture of his back go away. | © seadra of gs |

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
One simple look of Reginald's face could describe his situation, as it was an face that showed a mixture of weary and being bored. Don't get the dragon wrong, he was glad that he could finally get Mia some clothing that would actually fit her, and in an manner that didn't involve her in that well, 'modest' dress. For now that did manage to get away with her wearing some of his clothing that were a bit too small for him, however it still showed the fact that they weren't her size, judging from the bagginess of it all. The reason for his face however was mostly because, he was doing the math in his head on how we was gonna budget his salary to add in these new clothes for the girl. "Well hopefully Fluffy can deal with me not gracing his bar for the next while." He did make sure to not show his 'concentrating' face because he knew that she would get worried or apologize for being 'trouble'. [break] [break] During their time out in the shopping district, mister knight spent most of his time glancing about the crowds, as he was still a bit on edge. It was was mostly due to that slim chance that the ones that were after Mia were still around, he already told the girl to tell him if she saw one of those bastards, as they would leave the place with no hesitation. Reginald however hoped that they wouldn't be the case, as he was afraid that running into one of them this soon would cause the poor Amelia to panic, the fear of being found only after being set free. The dragon had no intention of that happening and was on high alert. [break] [break] The dragon made sure that he wasn't too far from the little lady, as a show of reassurance, and to make sure that she didn't slip up that bad during her time of adjusting to her new lifestyle. So when she started to pick out some clothing to try out, the man could simply nod as she went to go to the changing area. It then struck the man that Amelia would probably want his opinion on the outfits which made the man sigh slightly as he wasn't really the best at that kind of advice. "Just as long as she doesn't pick out something totally ridiculous it should be fine." It was in a rather mumbled tone as the dragon stood there waiting for her to ask for his opinion. Thankfully the first set was an simple shirt and skirt, and Reginald simply gave her a thumbs up and a nod. [break] [break] It wasn't until the second or third time that an squeaking sound was heard, which immediately prompted the man to get on high alert. "Did they follow her into the changing area?!" He only managed to get three quick steps in before Amelia ran into him, her face taking an red tone to it as she hid it against his chest. Reggy gave the girl a small pat on the head, "Are you alright? Was it them?" Reginald was rather quick in asking these questions, just in case it was them. However he wasn't really ready for the misunderstanding that was gonna ensue.

my heart is cold, you can't leave Squeak!
Cobalt was lost in half awake thoughts when the sound broke through his questionable concentration. Needless to say, the look on his face was one of pure surprised, which on Cobalt looked rather out of place. His eyes were wide, like a deer in the headlights, as he turned around in time to catch some small creature scurrying away in a flash of orange. His mind raced to one thought "someone saw them. shit. SOMEONE SAW THEM. SHIT." He stood there for a moment, the thoughts sinking in before he moved to act.
Without thinking about which he was grabbing Cobalt put on the first shirt he could find, which happened to be the plaid one in his hand. He didn't even bother buttoning up the front of it as he left the dressing area, so long as his shoulder's were covered it would suffice, he was more concerned about whoever had stumbled upon him. His mind went straight to the thought of a lost child that had been startled by the sight of him (unsurprising, he would not have blamed them) or even just someone who was easily startled.
It didn't exactly take him long to find the sight that stood out on the store floor, a girl crying into a guy's arms. Orange hair, probably the one that ended up getting startled. Well at least she hadn't been alone because that probably would have just made the situation even worse. "Is she alright?" He asked, hopefully he hadn't scared her too bad.

nineteen - twenty one i tried to write about your eyes but i ran out of cliches, i tried to say you plainly but there wasn’t enough truth, whoever invented this language didn’t anticipate you. + no mia, + he was not naked | Mia hadn't meant to do bad things, but it seemed like no matter how hard she tried some things from her past life, were simply hard to let go. Things like always feeling like she was the one at fault for everything, and that no matter what she did, she couldn't do anything right. So when she had run into the wrong changing room, she had instantly averted her eyes before anything really registered in her mind, such as the scars that littered the paler man's skin. In fact, the girl's mind had instantly registered that the other had been naked but that was not the case at all.
So when the girl had fled and ran into her dragon's chest she had found that she had instantly started to cry. Even when he had started to ask questions afraid that it was someone from her past, coherent words would not form. Instead broken sobs came as she buried into him, almost waiting for the other to yell at her, or the person she had walked in on to. So when a voice appeared behind her, as she hadn't seen the other walk up, the girl instantly stiffened up. Even if his words weren't threatened her brain was simply registered to think otherwise, people were cruel creatures.. and they would mess with one's mind above all else.
"i'm sorry! im sorry ! im sorry!" the girl repeated over and over and over in strangled sobs against Reginald's probably now stained wet shirt. "please don't hurt me..." it was pitiful, the way she broke down almost instantly and was used to begging to spare any kind of pain she knew was to come anyway. That's how it always had been, even if you begged and tried your hardest to do what had been asked of you, there was always someone who didn't care and liked to see you tortured anyway.
"It was all my fault.." she whispered shaking almost brokenly against Reggie's chest and feeling like a total idiot for messing up again. | © seadra of gs |

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY
Reggy was at an lost of the exact words that he would use for this exact situation, it was supposed to be an normal shopping trip so that the poor girl would actually have something dent to wear, sadly Reginald didn't really an scenario like this happening. The dragon only really anticipated the worst, and was ready to clock who ever came running out of the changing rooms, and then take off with poor Mia. Add, in the fact that she wouldn't even form real words as she sobbed into his chest, made his heart sink and cause him to give her a small embrace,"It's okay. It's okay." He cooed as an attempt to calm her down. [break] [break] While Reginald tried to figure out exactly happened back in the changing rooms, he heard a figure walk towards the two and immediately snapped his head into the general direct only to find a rather un-intimidating silver haired man. What struck the dragon was that this man asked if she was alright, which prompted Reggy to raise a brow at his remark, "Yes there, she is all sunshine and rainbows right now. Can't you tell?" Was the first thought that ran through his mind but after a slight revision in his next couple words but before he could speak Mia started to repeat that she was sorry, in-between her sobs which prompted the dragon to continue his hug. "It's alright the man isn't going to hurt you. Right?" He spoke before once again looking at the man. [break] [break] "She has had a rough couple of days, so she is shaken up." Reginald explained the situation to Cobalt, without giving away too much information and did what he could to ease the situation. An precaution just in case if someone in the crowd was searching for her, so he had to make sure not to make matters worst by making a scene. He didn't really pay no mind to his increasing wet shirt, as it was something that he could just deal with later, calming down Amelia was his top priority. "It's not your fault, so don't you beat yourself over it." [break] [break] Reginald was sure he saw this man somewhere else though, maybe around campus? Sure he had an tendency to just make his way to the gym and the staff room without paying that much attention but he is at least sure that he was Cobalt in the area. However an name didn't really come to his head, which kind of irritated the dragon. "Hey aren't you around campus?" Reginald asked just to be sure, if he was then the two didn't have much to worry. He knew the headmaster wouldn't hire any nefarious individuals that would be associated with slavery and such.

my heart is cold, you can't leave Well now this was a mess wasn't it? Indeed it was. It was probably a good thing that messes like this were Cobalt's specialty. He always had been very good at playing damage control, even when he was far younger than now, surrounded by a bunch of little brats that were always stepping on each other's toes.
Cobalt noted the look given by Reginald and raised a brow in return, the young woman seemed even more frazzled than he had anticipated. Far more frazzled than he'd anticipated. It was enough to cause him to furrow his brow in a look of worry and concern. Even if she did have someone with her this was certainly not a state he liked leaving someone in, not at all. He could barely make out what she was saying, she was crying so hard and there was no denying how Cobalt's heart sank for her at the sight. It was a simple mistake, an accident on all parts and the poor thing seemed so worked up over it.
"I Apologize, I should have paid more attention while in the dressing room." Cobalt stated, he couldn't help thinking that perhaps if he had paid a little more attention, noticed someone else was in the area before she had walked in on him, the whole thing could have been avoided. But no, he had to go and get lost in thought over a stupid shirt pattern. "If anyone did something wrong here it was me." He meant it more for the girl than the other, to hopefully set her at ease at least a little bit. It wasn't like she'd done anything bad really, just a little mishap. He could have easily been the one at fault on this one.
Campus? Right, the school. If the guy recognized him well enough to ask about it then they likely had seen each other in the halls or the office at some point. He was good with names, but more so with the students as he saw their faces more often than anyone else's while he was at work. "Hisso?" he asked, he would either recognize it or he wouldn't. nineteen - twenty one i tried to write about your eyes but i ran out of cliches, i tried to say you plainly but there wasn’t enough truth, whoever invented this language didn’t anticipate you. + mia please, + they are getting along | The woman felt really, really bad that she had done something so bad to the other like walking in on him naked. The girl all but thought that the other would really be mad at her, but crying against Reggy's chest the man once again told her that everything would be okay. She wasn't going to get hurt and was only complimented by the white hair-male's answer that he was the one that needed to apologize. The orange-haired female slowly pulled out of Reggy's chest enough to look at the other to see that he really meant that he was sorry about it when it wasn't even his fault.
"You... didn't do it though.." she said slowly confused by the other's response. She wasn't used to someone actually taking the blame for something other than mistakes they couldn't blame on her. But yet, when it really was her fault this stranger had tried taking the blame for it all on his own shoulders despite what she had already said. Then the two seemed to know each other, which made Mia ease a bit more than she had before, this man.. was definitely not a bad person. Mia could tell, she wasn't exactly sure how... but it was definitely something she knew. So as the boys asked each other about a place called campus.. hisso.. the woman slowly let go of Reggie's body.
Not afraid of the man any longer, the smaller dragon wiped at her eyes before giving a soft smile to Cobalt. "You have a lot of kindness in you, mister. I can see it.. but you're also really hurt on the inside aren't you?" she asked softly moving closer to the other before suddenly wrapping her own arms around the other... half clothed man, so she touched his bare chest with her face as she hugged him. "You don't have to be alone anymore... I'm sorry.. for your pain." she said softly. There was definitely nothing cruel in the darker skinned male, she could tell now.. and Reggie didn't have to worry about him doing anything to them.

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY Reginald's attention got deterred when the man apologized for letting it happen, which he wouldn't be lying that he was slightly surprised at him saying that, and judging from Mia's reaction she was too. Thankfully it wasn't someone really ready to make a scene, because Reginald wasn't really ready to confront another person. His fist was still a bit tender from the last guy he drawed off and punched, and would much rather prevent something like that again. He couldn't really help it if his protective attitude manifested it's self, so his rather intense look started to dissolve to more calm like state. [break] [break] When the man mentioned the name 'Hisso', Reggy's expression started to go back to it's usual place before nodding slightly, "Yeah that's the one. I am the P.E teacher there. Reginald." He gave an brief introduction to the white haired man, as Amelia let go of his now sogged shirt and the dragon loosened his embrace around her. When the girl walked towards the other faculty member, as if by reflex the man took a step forward but when the dragon hugged Cobalt he immediately stopped in his tracks when she gave him a hug. [break] [break] Now Reggy may not have been the brightest bulb in the bunch he could at least tell that the words that she was saying had some truth in them, and add in the fact that she was one that was comforting someone. It was kinda nice to see, especially considering her genuine fear of other people, but I wouldn't be lying if he didn't feel a bit saddened. That Amelia quickly eased to this new man so easily, but that train of thought was immediately kicked down to the recesses of his mind. Well there went all of Reggy's last shred of doubts of him being threat though.

my heart is cold, you can't leave "No, but I should have known better." Well at least that seemed to smooth things over. Actually it was more effective than Cobalt had anticipated it to be. Not that he was going to argue with that, oh no, it was just a bit of a surprised considering how upset the girl had been. If only all the cases that he had to deal with on a regular basis could work out this well. He let out a sigh of relief, obviously relaxing for a moment at the fact this wouldn't be a huge scene he would have to play damage control for after all.
Wait, what did she say? Cobalt's eyes went wide at her quick assessment of him, more so at its accuracy. He wasn't used to hearing these kinds of things. Normally it was something either rude (not that he didn't deserve it with the sharpness of his tongue) or some boring description that barely scratched the surface. She pretty much summed him up in a sentence and the man was most definitely caught off guard by it. "What do you mea-"
And then she hugged him
The man's eyes probably couldn't have gotten much wider. It really didn't help that he was just now realizing he had not buttoned up the front of his shirt. This was honestly more things that didn't normally happen in a month or more happening within a matter of minutes. As such, he spent a few seconds standing there wide eyed and dumbfounded. He did manage to not leave her hanging though, and while it was a little hesitant, or perhaps the better word would have be unsure, he did return her embrace. For a moment he simply held the woman close, unsure as to what sort of thing one should really reply to that with. "Thank you." he responded softly, he wasn't entirely certain what had just happened here but he wasn't about to just ignore such a comment. Especially when it felt... oddly sincere. It was enough so, that it seemed to put him at ease almost as quickly as it had startled him and Cobalt found himself smiling down at the little orange head of hair that was against his chest.
It was a couple of seconds later that he realized he had missed his cue for introductions, how rude of him. "Right, Cobalt, Guidance counselor." Under normal circumstances he would have had more to say, this was not normal circumstances and he was most certainly still a touch frazzled. "You?" He looked back down at the woman in his arms, her name was the only one yet to be shared after all. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

nineteen - twenty one i tried to write about your eyes but i ran out of cliches, i tried to say you plainly but there wasn’t enough truth, whoever invented this language didn’t anticipate you. + mia please, + they are getting along | It seemed the younger dragon had a way of picking things out, things that no one else was able to see because she had opened up to the world more than anyone else really could. When you had lived as a slave for most of your life, you became sensitive to other things that people around you needed. That also meant that Mia would never exactly be normal like others of her species or even like those of the supernatural world in general. Once you experienced something so mind blowing it was hard to ever forget the days that you suffered, that you were alone, that you begged for someone in the world to hear you.
So when the other seemed startled for the second time, Mia noticed but she simply eased into the half shirtless man that she had warmed up to. Some part of her wondered why it was so easy, so easy to just let herself meld into this man. Suddenly feeling his arms around her as well gave her more hope that she had chosen the right thing. This man, he was alone.. even if others couldn't see it.. a kindred spirit was a lot easier to see when you felt the same things they did. So it had been almost too easy, to see the same look in the man's orbs as the girl had in hers before Reggie had come to find her.
"No one deserves to be alone, I should know." without her even realizing it a few tears had managed to fall down her face. Only managing to hear that the two did in fact know each other from the place they had mentioned. " My name is Amelia, but I go by Mia now." she said softly looking back at Reggy with a soft smile despite the few tears that had managed to fall down her face. "It's thanks to Reggie that i can meet such kind people, and I really owe everything to him. " she said honestly slowly letting go of the man now. A small smile formed her face as she stepped back beside Reggie's side.
"Thank you... for being so kind.. Cobalt." she said softly. "And I do believe that things in this world happen for a reason, so no matter how much pain we go through... there is always something... " she paused looking at Reggie and taking his hand slowly. "good that comes from the pain."

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY Normally Reginald normally chalk up what Amelia was speaking about, as an coincidences or just an wild guess. I mean she couldn't really just guess all of that, right? However judging by the darker man's reaction, his face kinda showed signs of genuine surprise, because judging by the way that cobalt reacted that there may have been some truth to her words. Perhaps Amelia had the ability to sense out these emotions? Or you know it could because she felt like that herself, for as long as she was held captive and you know can sympathize with people that shared those kinds of feelings? Silly dragon. To get his mind off this subject Reggie took a moment to glance around the store, where his eyes noticed some of these prices which caused him to sign slightly, "Really that much for an pair of pants? Geez, I guess I might have to cut back on some of the less important things this pay. Toilet paper is an essential right?" [break] [break] His attention snapped back when the other man introduced himself as the guidance counselor, which lead to the man recognizing that name as he was known for sending those more rowdy students to that office a couple times. "Damn kids gotta learn to keep it quiet, especially when I am clearly hungover." He let out an small huff,"Ahh, that explains it. Know that name." Reggie acknowledged the introduction with a small nod before quickly refraining from looking at the prices again in fear of having to cut back on more things. [break] [break] When Mia mentioned that Reggie was the one that she owed everything to him, his face took a slight red like tone, mainly out of embarrassment as he could only scratch the back his neck, while slightly shifting his gaze slightly to the left as to make sure his gaze weren't on the two. However from the smile that she gave, he couldn't help but to smile back. "I-i did only what any other guardian spirit would do." He stated with a sense of being flustered, in his voice. The dragon truly wasn't used to these kind of compliments, add in the fact that Mia slowly taking his hand with her statement which caused it to be a bit worst. "Y-yeah what she said." Truly smooth, but right now the man was at an lost of words at the situation.

my heart is cold, you can't leave She let go, returning to the side of the man she'd been there with to begin with and Cobalt just stood there for a moment. He'd seen a lot of things in his day, heard a lot of things in his day but something about all this was simply baffling him. He wasn't sure which got to him more, the young lady's accuracy or the sincerity that seemed to hang in the words she spoke. Perhaps it was a little bit of both as he couldn't remember the last time he'd heard either in someone like this. Somehow the she had managed to see something in him very few caught sight of, and fewer got confirmation of the existence of.
"You've got quite the head on your shoulder's Mia." Cobalt found himself rubbing the back of his neck as an absent minded habit as he thought about what she was saying. There were truth to her words though it would be a lie to say her ability to be so spot on wasn't at least a little unsettling for him. The man was all about control, namely of himself, having someone pick out such things about him so quickly and so easily was not something he was used to. "It sounds like you're lucky to have him."
He shook his head when she thanked him however. "No need to thank me for something like that." as far as Cobalt was concerned it was what anyone should have done in the situation, though he was well aware most would have caused far more of a ruckus than he would. Honestly the man was too tired for that most days. The way she spoke though, it was hard to shake the feeling that she'd been through something. In his experience the ones that spoke like that were often the ones that had seen the worst side of the world. "That's a spirit worth keeping, don't let go of it."
Looking at the pair again Cobalt recalled what he himself had been in the shop for, and what he has ended up interrupting with the little fiasco they'd just had. "I apologize, I do believe I've kept you two long enough haven't I? I imagine you have about as much shopping to finish as I do." the apologetic look on his face unmistakable. He'd certainly ended up taking more of their time than he had intended to. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

nineteen - twenty one i tried to write about your eyes but i ran out of cliches, i tried to say you plainly but there wasn’t enough truth, whoever invented this language didn’t anticipate you. + mia please, + stop being so cute | Honestly, bumping into the man was probably the greatest thing that had happened to the two of them. Mia was happy that she was able to meet someone that she could so easily understand. The look in his eyes, was very similar to her own, but Mia hardly doubted that the same rules applied to them, and that they hadn't gone through the exact same experience. Yet, the way he hid the sadness in his eyes was always a bit heartbreaking for her to say the least, especially since she felt so happy now with the man who had rescued her from the world of darkness that had taken her before he had shed light upon her.
The much smaller dragon couldn't help but notice the red color that formed over the dragon's face as she talked about him and took her hand. It was nice to see Reginald smile, after he had already done so much for her. Mia couldn't help but blink when Cobalt spoke to her however about having a good head on her shoulders. "Well, I don't know if mine is any better than anyone elses, but I'm glad its mine? " she answered a bit confused about why he would comment on how her head was on her body. She guessed it was just a joke or something that she wasn't aware of just yet, since... she didn't get out too much before Reggie had come to her aid.
Then he had continued to say that she was lucky to have Reggie, and she knew at least that much was true. Though, she wasn't sure if it was really luck or that he was just her wishes finally coming true. "Well... I won't argue with that, since he really was what I wished for every night... " she couldn't help but look down at her feet for a moment before back up. "I was actually praying for anyone to find me, to see me..." she admitted softly to the other. It was really hard remembering the past that still seemed to haunt her even now when she knew she was safe under the wings of Reginald. The smile still remained on her face however as the other said that she didn't have to thank him for being so kind. People like him and Reggy, they were what made things like this... like freedom possible for someone like her.
Another frown crossed her face however as a confused face followed. She slowly tried to process his comment again but just couldn't wrap her head around the comment that he made looking at reggie for a moment before back at the white-haired male. "Um... but.. if i don't have my spirit... umm... wouldn't I be dead? O-Or is that a soul? A-Ah! I can't remember these things." she whined pulling at her light colored hair at the ends. Yet when the other said that he had kept them a small frown crossed her face and she looked at Reggy once more before stepping forward.
"Do you not want to talk to us anymore? " she asked softly. Of course he had things to do, but some part of her didn't want to see him go... not so soon after meeting someone who had the same eyes like her. Who could understand how she felt, and without thinking she stepped forward reaching for his hand her long sleeves moving up enough that the other would probably be able to see bruises around her wrists and a few other marks further up her arm before the girl noticed it was up. Of course when she did, Mia quickly pulled her sleeve back down thinking nothing of it. "Do you.. really have to go?" she asked softly a few tears forming in her eyes.

[nospaces] I CAN'T FIND MY WAY This was some coincidence though, the one clothing store that the two happens to go to for shopping, and out comes this fellow who seemed to be able to relate to Mia on some level. The dragon wouldn't lie that it was nice for her to find someone that she could comfort for an change. Reggie would have to admit, that his life wasn't really one that he could sympathize with on an personal level. I mean she was taken from her family and thrown into this life, while he actively left his kin in search for an vague reason. Although, he kinda wished that they met without her seeing this man "naked" as she claimed. [break] [break] An small snicker came from the man when Mia responded to Cobalt's good head on her shoulders remark, he couldn't really help it. "Sorry." He mumbled slightly before trying to regain his posture from before. He couldn't blame her for her lack of knowing what that phrase meant, and kinda meant that he might have to sit her down, and teach her what a couple of those phrases mean. His face went back to it's slightly flustered self when Mia mentioned him again, he really wasn't one that heard comments like that, it felt weird. Not an bad weird mind you, but like this warm fuzzy feeling. He felt the same way about meeting the girl, as he felt that she could brighten up the way he saw the world. One that wasn't seen through an empty bottle. [break] [break] The second comment that confused the poor girl, only caused the dragon smile slightly,"What Cobalt meant is that, never stop being you. I agree with him, you keep that good spirit." Reginald might have been paraphrasing slightly, but he at least wanted the girl to understand the gist of what they meant. Besides he felt kinda bad that she wasn't able to get the compliment that was given to her. While Cobalt tried to excuse himself, saying that he have taken too much of their time, Reggie shook his head slightly,"Hey, don't worry about i-" He was cut off when Mia started to move forward, asking if the man didn't want to talk to the other two anymore. [break] [break] If one were to describe how Reggy's expression was, they would say that it moved from an face of endearment, to one of pure shock. Mainly for the fact that the two kinda skipped over a couple of major details about him saving her. The main reason why is when Mia accidentally showed the white haired man some of her scars when the sleeve got pulled back when she tried to grab at him. "Now before you get any ideas, I can explain." He had to do damage control, and fast or else this might lead to some accusations.
