Some days tended to blend together faster than the dragon could think or even prepare herself for. Being a slave for as long as she had, there was hardly any time when she got to spend to herself. Let alone spending time for herself, the worst part was the shackles that chafed at her ankles. The girl tried to see the happier of life, the life where she could be happy all the time and not have to worry about making a mistake or flinching away from touch. Such dreams had all but left the girls thoughts, since no one had ever come. No matter how many books she listened in on (since she couldn't read) about the prince sweeping the girl off her feet the girl had come to know that such things were fairy tales left for the books. The slave had found her way in downtown that afternoon on a quest for her owner. They had asked for a few things from the downtown market, and knew that the girl wouldn't run away, purely for the fact that they held onto the most precious thing she owned. A bracelet that she had received from her mother, it was the only thing the girl actually cared about, and she knew she couldn't leave without it. Let alone the shackles that still plagued her ankles so it wasn't like she could move very fast, but at least they were hidden under the simple pink dress that revealed a bit too much. It was one of the outfits her owner had her wear every so often for... well.. if they couldn't do much other than touch her... might as well look at her. It did however make her feel very conscious about herself when she was forced to wear it out in the open for anyone to look at her. So the woman didn't want to be out very long (perhaps another way to get her back sooner) so she kept her head down and rushed through the market to get what she had been sent out to and that was it. In the end the woman had managed to get the things she needed before turning to go back and accidentally bumping into someone causing the girl to fall back and almost drop her things. Thankfully she didn't collapse even though the chains almost caused her to do as such, almost falling over before another grabbed onto her arm. Amelia freaked out and pulled away almost instantly from the touch seeming to annoy the person who had grabbed her. 'You don't even say thank you? Bitch... ' the man hissed. Amelia's eyes shook and she quickly took off running back the way she had come (or rather it was more awkward than anything because of the chains). The girl wasn't paying attention however, and once again ran into someone else this time falling over making her dress flair up some to show the shackles that lined her ankles and causing the items to fall from her hands around her. "I-I'm sorry!" she cried quickly pulling down her dress to cover what had been revealed. Orange hues looked back, to see the first man still coming through the crowd. "F-Forgive me" she said trying to grab her things before the man could get to her. She could only hope that the one she had just bumped into would let her go, even if he had managed to see what was hidden under her dress. Reginald Ferrera

A small sigh escaped from the man's lips as he shuffled down the downtown area, followed by a couple few scratches on the back of his neck. His head was still a bit fuzzy from the night before, the typical night for Reggy as it usually involved drinking a little bit too much then he needed to, and it leads to this rather half hungover feeling. Thankfully with a few aspirins, it is reduced to a mere grogginess thank the heavens for his dragon biology or he wouldn't even bare to get out of bed without getting sick. Well anyway his nightly routine isn't the reason why he was roaming around the area, as it was his lack of ingredients for any real meal that mad him get off his butt and do a little bit of shopping.
The fresh air also seemed to do some wonders for the man, as it was somewhat refreshing, with most of the usual downtown banter blending in together. It served as rather good ambient sounds, as it filled most of the void of the dragon's thoughts, as right now it was simply trying to figure out what to eat. "Maybe I should just order out for the day?" He shook his head slightly as he mad his way to a small market to pick up his basics. In and out in only a couple minutes with a small plastic bag in tow, with various items, some of which are actually suitable for ingredients and others that could classify as drinks for later. It was when he made his way out of the store that he suddenly felt a quick thud, and with the lack of a warning he lost his footing for a second but managed to at least stay on his two feet. "Hey, you alright?" Reggy asked before taking a look at the source of the impact as he was kinda shocked at the sight.
It was a rather petite looking girl, and judging from the items scattered across the ground it appeared that she was doing some shopping of her own, however her attire didn't really scream 'out shopping'. When she apologized for bumping into him, Regyy only just sighed slightly. "It's okay, just keep an eye out next-time." He stated and after getting another look at the girl, something stood out to him. Shackles and chains, but as if the moment he noticed them she immediately pulled the dress down to cover them back up. Now Reggy might be a bit groggy, but seeing things isn't part of the whole process, maybe when he is getting drunk, but not after. After she apologized again and looked back, the dragon couldn't help to get a sense of suspicion of the situation. "Listen, I saw the things around your ankles, is there someone chasing you?" He spoke in a rather calmed yet hushed tone, as he wanted to prevent himself from seeming too hostile of sorts. "You can trust me." Reginald added, if this was anything like he thought it was, then something had to be done and it was evident by how his left hand started to radiate the faintest trace of magic.

Thankfully, the man that she managed to run into wasn't like the one she had bumped into first. He seemed like he was a little woozy, but maybe that was just her imagination. The man seemed to not be cruel, and actually seemed worried about the girl since he hadn't been knocked over from the bump. Amelia did notice however that his hues managed to take a glance at what was on her ankles. A bright flush seemed to come across her face, and she quickly looked away as she quickly grabbed her things starting to get up. That was when the man said something that she wasn't expecting. The girl bit her lip some, and squirmed a moment as she got up, but such soft tones and the way he looked at her- she thought he was telling the truth. "Y-Yes... I bumped into someone before you.." she said quietly. A fear echoed in her eyes as she glanced back once again, and the man seemed to connect with her orange hues. Oh god, that meant that he saw her... she quickly gathered her things and quickly moved behind the other without even thinking. "I didn't mean... I-I just don't like touch.." she said quickly. The man however seemed to clear the distance between the two almost instantly. He almost seemed to size Reggy's up before huffing a bit. "Is that chick with you?" he hissed at Reggy. Amelia literally tried to shrink behind Reggys' much bigger form. "It was just an accident... " she said but she was careful not to touch Reginald either, as she couldn't stand any kind of touch anymore. "little bitch, your such a clutz." he hissed at her and Amelia quickly quieted not saying anything else. There was nothing that she could do to make it up but she really just wanted to go home. Not that it was really a home, but at least there she had a room where she could hide and forget the entire thing. "I'm sorry.." she whispered but a few tears started to fall. "Please.... please just leave me alone.." she cried as she shook behind reggy. "Let me go home..." she whispered a bit of a shell of what she normally was. The girl clutched the items to her chest and let tears start to fall down her face. Even the life of a slave... would be better than this... no matter where she went. Would people always treat her like this... no matter where she went, would it always be the same? Reginald Ferrera

The dragon was still slightly out of the loop of the situation however judging on her reaction after he noticed the chains, he couldn't help but feel a bit bad about that part. He would have to reassure to her that he was sorry for glancing, however now simply wasn't the time. Thankfully it seemed that she wasn't spooked out enough, that she told Reggy that someone was after her, and it only prompted him to take a small look out in the crowd, in a vain attempt to figure out if thee was someone still around. However without much of a description or anything, near anyone could have been the one she was getting away from. "Don't worry. I will deal with him if he shows u-" Reginald was cut off when Amelia quickly went and hid behind his frame as a rather displeased man made his way towards the two.
Judging from the way that the man 'introduced' himself, it seemed that whoever she bumped into wasn't too pleased. Rudely asking if the girl was with him, and it immediately followed by her saying it was an accident. The dragon simply turned his neck to the girl and nodded slightly, as a sign of reassurance, before turning back to the 'gentlemen' in-front of the him. "Yeah, this lady is with me. And as you can see she clearly apologized and said it was an accident. So if you would please back off, that would be great." Reggy spoke calmly, and stare at the gentlemen, giving an silent threat. However the man only continued his hisses at the poor girl, which lead to her pleading to be left alone, and want to go home.
That was simply the last straw for Reggy, as his left hand balled into a fist. "I said back off!" His tone rose to the point where his demand was rather forceful, his anger was reaching a boiling point. He had no patience for a man who wouldn't just let a simple thing go, and especially if they make a girl cry. He took one step towards the man, and quickly stretched his fist outwards, stopping a mere few inches from the man's face, a scare tactic. Well it was mostly a scare tactic, but he wasn't quite sure if straight up clocking the guy in broad daylight would do any good. "You don't even dare to say anything to this girl. Hell if I see you in the same street as her, I will do more then throw a punch." With a huff the dragon simply turned back to Amelia who was still in tears, and he crouched slightly to get to eye level with her. "Let's get out of here, alright?" He asked in his calm tone once again as he tried to get her out of the area, just in case that guy had some friends.

The girl only half-recognized that the man was speaking to her when he suddenly stopped as she hid behind him and the man had quickly found them. If anything she wished that she could have gotten away from here, Mia knew that her owner would be angry if she was late. If he was angry that would mean that she would get in trouble, and trouble meant punishment. The girl could only imagine what he would do to her this time, the skin on her body shivered at the very thought of such things. Mia had learned long ago to listen to what she was told to avoid such punishments as much as she could. That was when the man she was hiding behind seemed to yell causing the smaller girl to jump some as suddenly their attacker was on his butt in front of the much larger man. There was something in the back of Amelia's mind, something nagging at her that there was something about this man. Something not necessarily normal... something that made her suspect that he wasn't exactly human. Amelia was distracted from her thoughts as the man spoke again saying that if he ever came near her again it would be more than a punch he would get. Amelia finally looked back to the other when the softness of his voice returned to his words and he spoke to her now. "Y-yes please..." she said softly. The woman moved back some to make sure that he didn't touch her when he turned around. Mia felt suddenly embarrassed again remembering what he had seen. "Please .... im sorry i bumped into you... " she said trying to stumble over her words. What would people say if they knew what she was? Humans were cruel creatures, she knew that from experience, she had been kept by several humans before. The woman pulled at her sleeves almost as if she felt he could see right through her. "I'll get in trouble if I don't go back soon." she said glancing at the man on the ground before moving quickly to a small alley unsure if the man who had saved her would follow or not. This really wasn't how Reggy thought this day was gonna go, I mean it was only supposed to be a rather lazy morning, a little grocery shopping and maybe a quick nap after he got back to his place. He never really expected to be standing in the middle of downtown, bumping into a girl who seemed to be in distress and then threatening some jackass that wouldn't stop insulting the poor thing. So clearly someone else had plans for his day, like a divine force or something however Reginald wasn't really gonna stop and ponder on this train of thought.
After that little display, there were a few scattered whispers among the people just passing by however the dragon just shrugged them off. It wasn't like him to think twice about what everyone else thought, just as long as he did what he thought was right he couldn't care less. So after that 'little talk' he had with the gentlemen ended, the girl took his offer of at least getting off the streets, but she once again made sure that no body contact was made, not even the slightest graze. At this point he was starting to think that it was him,"Is it because she think I am some ruffian or something? Or maybe I smell or something..." He shook his head slightly as he dismissed that idea, but he did gave himself a quick sniff just to make sure. "Nope, in the clear." Kinda sad that he did that, but he just really had to make sure, would be bad if was the case though.
He snapped back into reality when the girl once again apologized for bumping into him, which lead to the man the scratch the back of his neck slightly out of a bit of awkwardness,"N-no need to apologize, I should have payed a bit of attention where i was going." He answered, thinking that there was no real need for her to say sorry this many times, like it was no big deal. However if Reginald saw what he thought he saw, that might explain a few things, but he didn't want to go asking question in this kind of place. Too many ears, and people have an tendency to stick their noses in matters. Sadly that was Reggy at this moment, a dragon who wants to get to the bottom of this whole situation. Besides part of him says that this might be supernatural related, as he got this kind of feeling from the girl. When he spoke about needing to go back or she would get into trouble and started to quickly make her way to an alley.
"Hey! Wait up!" Reginald called to Amelia as he quickly followed her, "Judging from how that went, I think I should at least make sure no other 'nice citizens' give you a hard time. If that is if you want." The dragon offered Amelia his services as an bodyguard of sorts, and would use this as an opportunity to figure out what exactly is going on with her. He simply knew that he could just let her go without him at least trying to help her, "And if you really want to, we could talk about those you-know-whats. What have you gotten yourself into?" The rather blunt side of Reggy coming out, he wasn't quite sure how that part would go but he had to ask.

Amelia knew she was being cruel to the man, and that it was rude to treat the person who had saved her as she had. There was just something that she had lost from being in captivity as long as she had.. that sense of wanting to know the presence of touch. Or rather, the fact that not everything that touched her was meant to cause the woman harm, but living as long as she had.. with what she had made it impossible to think of touch as anything but torture or a punishment. Even the slightest of grazes was enough to make the girl jump or even feel inferior to the person who was touching her. That was when the man once again seemed to say that it wasn't necessary for her to apologize, that it was his fault. Yet that wasn't his fault, it was never the masters fault, it was always hers (another concept driven into her) If something went wrong it was always her fault, even if she wasn't anywhere near the problem. The best option was to grovel, grovel and apologize over and over until it was safe to do anything else without the presence of punishment thick in the air. Yet finally after the awkward moment with her savior the woman quickly moved to the alleyway, aware of the sound of the other who suddenly moved after her. Even his words were caught slightly by the wind, but she could hear what he had said as she stopped her run only once she was safely inside the alley. Only then did she stop to think about the words that he had spoke after her, and had offered himself as a protection for her. "Why would you want to protect someone you don't even know?" she said at first moving to the farthest part of the alleyway. Of course it seemed like a dead end, but for someone who possessed the grace of the wind, and the ability to fly without wings it was exactly the opposite. ".... you shouldn't have seen those... " she said slowly and she felt embarrassed again looking away once again. "I'm a slave... if you saw them... you should know what that means.." she said but she was careful to make sure that he didn't come too close to her. Reginald Ferrera

It didn't really occur to the man on how this could situation seemed, he follows the poor girl that was shaken up just a mere seconds ago and then just stats talking about matters that were probably not even supposed to be known. The message struck even further when she started to question the man about why he would protect someone he didn't even know, and started to back up into a dead end. Reginald couldn't help but respond back,"Because it is the right thing? What, am I supposed to just look another way when someone is in trouble? Sorry but that ain't happening." The dragon tried to defend his logic to Amelia, however since he wasn't really the best with words he had to make sure he chose them carefully. Hell he even had to make sure that he didn't really do anything else to startle her further, considering that she was essentially stuck and he didn't really want to be the bad guy that would trap her. However a thought did rise on why she would have dashed towards this alleyway, she surely must have known her way around. Maybe she simply panicked and taken a wrong turn?
When the girl did comment on how he wasn't supposed to see those shackles, Reginald couldn't help but to sigh slightly."Yeah, sorry about that. My eyes has an tendency to pick out small details like that." Was it an apology? Yes, but as it a good one? By Reggy standards it was, but it reality it wasn't really that good. When the conversation did take a turn on how she finally out right said her situation, and it was how Reginald thought although he just had to make sure. He had no idea on what people really did these days, and he wasn't 100% sure if he was right. "Thought so." He felt his heart sink though, despite knowing that this was probably the situation, he felt bad for those that were subjugated to this kind of treatment, whether it be human or other, he couldn't stand by the fact of owning another being.
Now he had to plan his next move carefully, if he did anything that could seem threatening or weird she would simply run off without the man getting any of his questions answered, or even try to help. "Listen, I don't know on what you think of me. Maybe an guy who saw too much, or has ill intent. But I promise you I won't hurt you or anything. I just want to help." He spoke calmly as he took an simple footstep forward. "If you are one of magical decent, you have nothing to worry about." He wasn't really sure how this would play out, but if she wasn't a normal slave then chances are she had another way to escape. If that was the case, he was ready to reveal his secret as a sign of good faith. xxxx ● amelia travis ● squire to the rescue. (sorry for small post)

Amelia did know the place well enough to know where she had put herself into a corner no less. Yet, the girl also knew there wasn't much else she could do but use her real form to get out of this place. Even if it was a dead end, it was quiet and she could get out of here quickly, even if this man was here. He could have been human, but if he saw her.. he'd be afraid, probably dreamed it happened and it wasn't like she would ever see her again. It was the last option in case she had to run, but she was slowly becoming less and less afraid of the man before her. What the woman didn't expect however, was the answer that he gave her. A small frown crossed the girls face, not that it was a wrong answer.. but more of the fact that the way he spoke.. it was almost like he was someone she had dreamed about before in her younger more senile years. "... So you go around helping anyone that's in trouble just because you can?" she asked softly. It just didn't sound right for someone who had been in captivity for most of her life. There was just no way that people like him existed.. not in this day, not ever. ".. that seems a bit far-fetched." she admitted even if it was something she wouldn't normally say. When she finally answered him, she wasn't sure what she expected but it wasn't that. "It's embarrassing.." was all she said starting to tinker with what little clothing was on her frail and small form. She hated when people stared at them, especially her master's party guests that looked at her with more than just eyes for her chains. Amelia frowned more however when he suddenly seemed to change his game, and she suddenly felt like a frightened animal in the cut of end of a beast. Yet this beast seemed different from the normal animals that went directly for their prey, almost as if what he spoke was the truth. Mia had lived with liars though, and there was no such thing as truth when you lived with demons. It was his step forward that made her jump and she instantly looked down at his feet and it was obvious just how stressed and how close to fleeing she was. Yet his words caught something in her mind as she looked back up at him, the slight fear that she had and the willingness to run slowly starting to die down if only slightly. "Magical...decent... are you... are you like me?" she asked. Her childish dreams may have not been lost completely yet, and some part of her wished that he was telling the truth. "I've wished that someone would find me, that I could see others like me.. but it was foolish dreaming..""almost like no one else existed but me." she admitted her voice falling into a heap of sobs as she too started to cry. Almost as if responding to her rapid emotions the wind in the alleyway picked up in a unnatural way starting to swirl around her lifting her hair slightly as it did as she cried into the hand that was trying to stop them from coming. " please...please save me.." she begged any hope in her rising to the surface as long as she could keep it. The woman found her legs suddenly didn't support her as she started to collapse to her knees. Maybe her hope... it wasn't as far fetched as she had once thought it to be. Reginald Ferrera

When Amelia started to question on how odd it was for him to simple protect people, but Reggy actually had a reason on why he was like that, "What can I say, it was how I was raised. Protect those who can't protect themselves, that was more or less what was beaten into my head." It might be best to leave out the whole part about protecting only the environment or it's creatures and ignore the humans. He did have to admit though it would be kinda strange for someone to just show up and try to fix one's problems, especially without knowing that person before hand. However this was the whole reason why he left his home in the first place, as they were unable to really help anyone do to their rather restrictive rules and traditions. No, Reginald actually wanted to help the people, with no real disregard on what the other's thought, as that is what he saw an guardian being as. One for the people.
When she spoke on how it was embarrassing for her, the man couldn't even really think about how she would have felt. Being the subject to whatever some cruel individuals whim, it was a sickening thing to think of. When he did take that first step, the reaction was along the lines of what he thought was gonna happen, her posture shifted to that of a scared animal of sorts. It was reasonable so the man took a small break, wanting to ease this whole situation because if he just continued to walk, the situation could just escalate. So instead he made his statement if she was of magical decent that she quickly looked up to him and asked if she was like him. Reggy's hunch was right as a small smile made it's way to his face.
"Yeah, and I take it you are too." He spoke as he turned his head slightly to make sure there wasn't any prying eyes, and as a proof of good faith he stretched his arm horizontally in-front of his torso and rolled up his sleeve of his jacket before his arm shifted form to one reminiscent of lizard of sorts. It was rather small considering his dragon form and took a dark bronze like color to it's scales."See, dragon at your service." Reggy reassured her before changing his arm back as fast as the initial transformation.
"You don't have to worry anymore, there are others like you."Reginald spoke once again to Mia as he took another simple step towards her, and then she started to sob as she spoke again. Saying that it felt like no one else existed to her, and this was the final point for the dragon. As if to respond to the feeling, the very air it's self started to slightly whip up around the girl, and Reginald's started to move on their own. One slow step after another, then the pace slowly started to pick up until before he knew it he was close to the distressed Mia and he slowly went to his knees and despite what the girl said earlier against physical contact he slowly opened up his arms to give a comforting hug to the poor girl. He spoke softly as his eyes started to water slightly and get puffy.
"It's alright. You are safe now." xxxx ● amelia travis ● squire to the rescue. (sorry for small post)

When the smile came to the man's face, she knew that something had happened. A click, as her original sense had told her that he hadn't been normal. It was easy to see now, even with him not in his form.. the way he held himself wasn't exactly like any human she had met before, he was more honorable than any human. That was when the man went further than just saying what he was, she watched as the man showed scales and a claw on his arm, not only was he a supernatural.. he was just like her. He was a dragon too, a dragon that had given enough care to try and make sure she was okay. The tears came unbidden so the woman couldn't speak at all as they just fell without her control at this point. There was just nothing she could do to stop them, and for once she didn't mind crying. She wouldn't be punished for such things for the first time in her life, there was someone that cared that she was hurting.. cared that she needed help. This man.. he had been everything she had been told didn't exist in the world yet here he was as she collapsed to the ground in tears, she heard the silent collapse of him as well. Mia didn't know when he had come towards her so fast with the wind that came to her aid and suddenly started to surround them. So when the man wrapped his arms around her she stiffened up, but there was just so long she could go without wanting something to hold on to. Someone to hold her... Slowly her eyes closed and she let him finally relaxing in the strong arms that wrapped around her for something that wasnt to punish her. Mia slowly shifted, as calm as she was, it was all she could do not to just fall asleep in his arms, and she had never been that relaxed before. A small white dragon with red highlights took her place, small enough to easily fit in his arms as he hugged her against him. Her normally hard scales, rubbed completely to the point that they couldn't have protected her from anything. Even from touching this form, it was obvious from how much physical trauma she had been through, the damage they had done to her to make sure she couldn't get away.. couldn't ever run. Yet for the first time, she felt safe... safe and happy.. something that she was sure hadn't existed until this very moment, where one person had put her above themselves. A small humm like sound came from her almost like what a cat would do to purr, just from being held by such strong and protecting arms. Reginald Ferrera

The trauma for the poor girl was evident, as she initially stiffened up to the dragon's embrace, but the man didn't have any intention of letting her go. Reginald sensed that what she needed was someone, anyone to comfort her, to tell her that things will be alright, and he had every intention to be that person. Not even the winds that were still surroundings the two were gonna have a say in the matter, actually Reggy kinda forgot about them until after a few moments into his contact. When Mia started to slowly shift in his arms, he raised an brow sightly before her form changed to a slightly small lizard of sorts. However the moment that she transformed, Reggy knew what she was and he let out a small relieving sigh, "So that is what you are." His voice was soft as he adjusted his hold to prevent squeezing the poor girl. Upon a glance she took a rather serene white color, with bits of red highlights around her scales. The feature that stuck out to Reginald was that her scales didn't have that same roughness that they normally would, no they were soft to the touch which saddened the man. "To think that they would dare to damage a poor girl this badly." The thought went through his head, cursing out whoever thought it was okay to do something like this, however he knew right now was hardly the time for those thoughts. Reginald stayed in that very spot for what seemed like hours despite the relative five minutes or so the two were actually there. the man making sure that he didn't harm Mia's fragile frame as she let out a small sound that was comparable to a cat's purr and he found it rather soothing or sorts. "I swear, that you will never have to deal with anything like that again." It was a faint whisper, but also served as a promise that the dragon will make with the poor girl before he took a small look around the area just in case if there was any sign of her captors that started to search for the girl. After a moment Reggy look down at Mai before having to be the one to bring this up. "You kept on saying that you would punish you if you didn't show up. Would they wait long before seeking you out? Because if that's the case we should get out of here before they show up." He spoke with a sense of caution in his voice. Avoiding them shouldn't be too bad, but it was the shackles that might serve as a problem. Magic wouldn't be good in considering they are out in the public. However he might be able to use his dragon claws to simple break them.

It had been a long time, a long time since someone had touched her.. at least like this. This man wasn't trying to hurt her, and the touch that he presented was something completely different one that she didn't want to stop. The feeling that someone actually cared about her as his arms circled around her and promised protection, even without him having to say anything. The added effect of his voice helped soothe her as she shifted in his arms as she heard him say that he had figured out what she was. The touch was odd against her soft, and fragile form like this, but it wasn't something completely unwelcomed. His promise however was what made her completely ease against him. For the first time in her life, she knew that he wasn't lying to her like so many before him had. There was something here that she could hold on to, and he had promised to save her, and she fully felt like he would. Yet when he spoke about her master, her mind reeled back to what had happened before now. She quickly shifted once more so she was once again human and slowly pulled back against the man to look at him, the bite of her iron captors once more ringing in the back of her mind. " ....He'll probably start looking soon yes..." she admitted honestly. The thing she feared worse however was this man getting in trouble for trying to save her. "I don't want you hurt because of me, if he finds us.." he words faded as a few shivers of fear ran down her spine. "he'd try to kill you for trying to take me.." she said starting to form tears again but tried really hard to force them down. She absently clung slightly to his shirt as the fear coated her like a second skin. "I've tried... i've tried to run away.. but i was always caught... it was awful..." she said weakly. "I don't want that to happen to you... you've been the kindest to me." Reginald Ferrera

Reggy wasn't really the kind of man who would really be scared off by a bunch of low-lifes, either they be humans or even something of the supernatural nature. The man was a man of his word, and besides it would probably bad if he couldn't really up hold his promise literally a couple minutes after he had made it. So when Mia spoke that they would indeed try and seek her out, the dragon knew that would have to think of a proper way to get them off their tail or even just slip by. However before he could really react, the girl started to fear for the worst saying that she didn't want the man to get hurt trying to save her, trying to get her out of her terrible situation. When she clung to his shirt, with fear starting to show it's ugly head again on the matter. Reginald slowly placed his left hand on top of her head, as an attempt of calming her down while he shook his head slightly at her worries, "Don't you worry, this time you won't have to worry about them getting to you. I made a promise and I plan on keeping it." A small smile was on his face, he had to make sure that he didn't show any signs of doubt in his words. "He can try to kill me all he wants, but that doesn't mean that he will get a chance. The most you need to be worrying about right now is what kind of celebratory meal you are gonna have for your freedom." That is hopefully whatever she wanted to eat was in his bag of ingredients, that or maybe he would have to order out like he initially planned out. No, now wasn't really the time to deal with food, they needed a plan to avoid being sighted. Now Reginald wasn't really a man for plans, as he would much rather just find those punks and give them a quick beating, but that was out of the question as Mia would probably get upset with him and second of all he wasn't quite sure if he would be able to hold back. It wasn't like they didn't deserve it but it was a matter of principle as the headmaster would have a few words him when he got back to campus. Instead he decided that he might be able to use Amelia's knowledge of the area to their advantage and just as long as they got out of the shopping area he could get her back at the campus. "Do you know any quick shortcuts out of here uh...." The man's face suddenly went deadpan as he just realized that he hasn't even introduced himself to the girl. "I think we should at least know each other's names before things get hectic. My name is Reginald, or Reggy for convenience." As for his plan around her shackles he decided that there was one easy way to get around without her being slowed down, as if she would like it that was a different story.

It wasn't like her to want to touch someone, nor that she was used to clinging to anyone for support. Yet, with how he had already treated her, Mia was already used to touching Reginald, and she didn't plan on stopping now. Her orange hues tried to keep from crying, and suddenly he extra pressure on her head made the girl look up at the other. He told her not to worry, that he would keep his promise and for the first time, Mia didn't want to be anywhere else. It was alright that she didn't know what the future held because she knew she would be safe in the arms of this man who she didn't even know the name of. He was simply the knight to her that had come to save her from what she couldn't save herself from. "Celebratory..." she mumbled some, honestly.. anything was good to her. What she normally ate, was whatever she was given, if it was anything all.. it wasn't like she had a proper meal ever. It just depended on the mood of her master, or rather former master, and one simply did not ask about anything. "I don't care, i just... " she paused finding it embarrassing once again, but for a different reason. "I just want to have it with you." she said softly a small flush forming on her face. Anything was perfect for the girl compared to what she had been used to, a home cooked meal would have been the same as a fancy restaurant to the poor girl. That was when the other had started to ask her something before he had stopped for a moment and introducing himself. The woman smiled and felt a few tears fall from happiness rather than pain like she had for so long. " Its nice to know your name... Reggy. My name is Amelia, my master calls me.... actually.. please call me Mia, I don't really like the name he called me." she admitted looking down. She would have to get used to this freedom thing, since she wasn't used to sticking up for herself or keeping her eyes level with people. "I don't know how... to be free.. it's been a really long time.. so I'm sorry.. ahead of time if i mess up a lot." she said softly. The woman finally looked back up though wiping the tears from her eyes once more. "But i wouldn't want to start over with anyone else than you." Reginald Ferrera
