i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | Neil Coyle commentary | Neil didn't mind that the space between them was practically nothing at all anymore. The sound of the rain had an opposite effect on him from what it did to Iriel. It was soothing. It made him want to sleep. The only thing keeping him up, was Iriel. But he didn't suppose that he minded as much as other people might have. He yawned quietly, eyes closing again at the sound of Iriel's voice.
When he spoke but dismissed it, Neil still wanted to know what it was he was going to say. But he wasn't going to force it from him. No instead, he allowed him to rebury himself against his body. He had almost fallen asleep again when he felt Iriel's fingers trailing down his side, stopping to wander around the scars there.
"Not anymore." He answered. Indeed the gashes he had gotten from standing in between fights within his pack had hurt like nothing else when he had first gotten them. But since then, they had gotten better. He almost forgot he had had them. "I guess being a werewolf isn't as easy as something like Twilight makes it seem." He continued, eyes closing again as he relaxed at Iriel's touch. |

BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on Well, that was a positive aspect then for the two of them. Neil's scars no longer pained him, at least physically, and Iriel found them rather interesting. He couldn't help but to touch them, nails dragging lazily across the skin and exploring elsewhere in the process as innocently as a small child. He supposed he never took the time to fully see what Neil was or possibly forgotten was the correct term to use here.
"I guess not. But it was a dumb movie." If it was the same movie he was thinking about. All romance movies seemed to work the same even the supernatural ones at that. "Vampires don't eat from animals either." He commented off handly as if it was every day knowledge.
Upper wards went those tattooed hands and then downwards back to the scar where he lingered. Neil had said it no longer hurt but did that mean it did sometimes? Did it hurt every so often and then stop for a while? How did scars work really? All of that went off into bird's head and finally thought best to cover all of his bases. Scooting down a few inches he decided to do what his father always did when something might possibly hurt now or in the future.
He leaned down and kissed the scars on Neil. Not once, but twice. A kiss for each scar. Once his task was completed he flopped the side of his head on Neil's stomach, using it as a pillow and shifted his body and curling his legs around Neils.
"Pop's always said kissing a mark helps keep pain away even if it doesn't hurt now."

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me | Neil Coyle commentary | Though he was closer to sleep, feeling now comforted by Iriel's inquisitve touches to his side, his eyes shot back open upon feeling Iriel's lips touch his side. It was good, that the bird was unable to see how red he was in the face. because it was indeed embarrassing. He glanced downwards, able to see Iriel's figure in the darkness as his head rested on his stomach.
"Yeah? I never learning anything like that." He said quietly. "Good to know." He added, turning to look out the window. He relaxed again, the sound of the rain beating lessening slightly. He absently patted Iriel's hair, his eyes opening and closing but certianly heavy.
"Feel any better?" Neil asked as he continued looking out the window. Rain was so nice, but he knew why Iriel didn't like it. "Try to sleep now, the rain is slowing down." He muttered softly, his own eyes slipping closed again. |

BLOW A KISS, FIRE A GUNAll we need is someone to lean on The phoenix closed his eyes after his task was completed. He didn't move again or do anything strange after that. He merely layed there with his eyes closed and blocking out the rain. His mind was a blaze but it too was finally slowing down. His anxiety was dropping and his uneasy fading away and being replaced with sleepiness. Good, he needed to rest and not keep Neil up all night long.
Rumbles in the night sky began to fade and Iriel could take a deep breath and let it go. Feeling a hand running through his hair was the most calming thing ever. It instantly made him feel more relaxed and soon turn into one melting bird. "Mhmm." Was the only response the wolf would get from the creature.
At some point, Iriel finally drifted off into sleep. His dreams were strange and unusual but that was nothing different for the boy. His dreams often reflected something in his soul or at least looked like crack. He shifted lightly in his sleep but mostly remained glued to Neil in one form or another. Either he was against his chest, stomach, clinging to him with one arm. It would be a rather quite night for the two of them, so far at least.
